One of my favorite chain restaurants. You flip through so many different plates, each sounding as delicious as the last, making it very hard to choose just one. I have two favorite pasta dishes here, the Louisiana Chicken and the Chicken Farfalle. Serving sizes are huge a good family portion dish, and if you doggy bag it home it tastes just as good the next day.

The wait time can be ridiculous, up to 30-45 minutes on a really busy day.  Oh yeah cheesecake here is a must try, that's what they are obviously named for, pineapple, godiva and oreo are tried and true.

I don't like coming to this place because I've always had to wait for at least an hour.  Tried a few different dishes, but I'm not a big fan of their food.  I do like their cheesecake though.

The place looks nice also. Too bad I'm not a fan of their food.

Yes, its a chain restaurant, but its one of the best options in the area other than Ayhans. Dave and Busters does not sit well in my stomach, and other businesses around here are just as expensive and don't deliver as much. *cough* California Pizza Kitchen *cough*

I will agree that the wait can suck, but its not as bad as it used to be. I've never had to wait for a lunch, and dinner has always been less than 30 minutes. Tip: Only get a table upstairs, the downstairs has always been nasty.

Food here is par excellence. I love the Eggplant Sandwich and Barbeque Ranch Salad. Pastas look great too. Cheesecake here is absolutely amazing, mass produced, but still delicious.

Service here is a little sporadic, but it tends to be much politer than the White Plains location. The prices are a little high, but totally reasonable when you see how much you get.

I stopped eating at this Cheesecake Factory after a satisfying meal---a roach crawled across the table.  The very kind General Manager told us they'd sprayed the day before.  Not comforting, especially when the seat was right next to the kitchen... :/

I usually enjoy the Cheesecake Factory, but last night I had a terrible experience. We got sat rather quickly, but the food took forever to come out. After waiting about 45 minutes, my pasta dish was horribly over-cooked. Once I let the waitress know, she said the manager would be right over. This asshole took a good 10 minutes just to show up to my table. I was pissed at this point because my date was practically done with her meal, and i didn't even touch mine. When the manager finally showed up he apologized and ordered another dish. Long story short (or even longer) when my food finally arrived the shit was over cooked again. Fuckin' ridiculous.... I didn't eat the nasty shit, and was still charged full price for the dish.
The only reason I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt is because all the other times I've been here, its been good. Im going to give them one more chance, hopefully they redeem themselves.  Douche bags....

Cheesecake factory is cheesecake factory.

It's a big, popular chain located in nice upper class suburban environments.

Theres always the dim lighting, painted ceilings, menu with advertisements on one side and food on the other.

No matter what you get the servings are huge.  Now don't go looking for the best meal of your life...but it is really good, always consistent.  There are a lot of different types of food to choose from and everything I've had has been good.

I really enjoy the thai lettuce wraps as an appetizer, especially during the summer time as the lettuce which you wrap grilled chicken in with vegetable fillers such as cucumbers, shredded carrots, sprouts as well as noodles tend to feel really light but hold just the right amount of flavor (because its customized depending on how much of the three different sauces you add on[peanut, something, and some other thing])

for dinner i always am a sucker for the meat loaf.  i am a loaf kinda guy.  there meatloaf is good with the right consistency, sauce w/ onions.  mashed potato and corn sides.

i also am caught by the chicken and biscuits.  as you can see i love fat boy food.  its just pure comfort as you're eating large portions of chicken and biscuits smothered in gravy.  also with mashed potatoes.

steak la diane also good...but i would pick the meat loaf over it.

The waitresses are attentive, portions are huge for the price...which is not outrageous considering the ambiance provided.

i like cheesecake factory.  this one gets bonus points for us being seated immediately on memorial day at 9 at night (yeah...i know most places wouldnt be that packed at that time but still it was nice)

I wish my mind registers when I am full just a tad bit faster, the portions here are so big I wind up finishing my plate and suddenly realize I am Stuffed...what other reason is there to come here besides their entrees.....yup you got it right their cheesecake. When I come here I normally get the raspberry cheesecake which is just so delicious.

The food is very good and this Cheesecake factory is located in a very busy shopping/resturant area so its always busy.

When coming here on a Friday/Saturday night around 5p you will be waiting a least 30-45 minutes. Its worth the wait.

Go to the Cheesecake Factory for brunch.  Yes, seriously brunch!  You won't forget it.  I was on an eggs benedict kick, and I had it there and they have really kickass lemony thick hollaindaise.  AND I could actually finish almost the entire plate.  This is the one meal here where you might be able to finish your entire dish (if you're not an ogre to begin with).

Woot!

Dinner and lunch, not so much, but brunch, yes please!

Mmm...Cheesecake Factory. I wanted to come here for the longest time, but never had an opportunity to do so. I heard stories about how other people waited on line for hours just to get in. My co-worker waited an hour and a half just to be seated for Valentine's Day. In celebration of one of my co-worker's birthdays, we decided to come to the Cheesecake Factory at around 5:30pm weekday. Parking could be moderately difficult since the Cheesecake Factory parking lot is shared with other Source Mall businesses. I tend to park nearer to the end where Dave & Busters is to secure a parking spot. When we arrived, we casually went to the hostess stand to reserve a table. It would be a twenty minute wait, which isn't bad compared to what I expected. When our party was called, we were told to go upstairs. When I arrived to the second floor, there is another hostess at a hostess booth who confirmed our party's arrival. We were seated by our short-haired, skinny female server, who grabbed a bunch of the thickest menus I've ever seen.

The six of us sat in a booth. The decor seemed relaxing with low lighting and orange sconces. I am still going crazy over the menu book. It felt like twenty pages, but there were advertisements in some of the pages, which I thought was weird. Aren't I here to eat, not look at advertisements? The menu covered a lot of different dishes from Italian, Mexican, to Thai food. The menu selection is so massive that they boast that there are more than 200 menu selections. The question now is: does quantity affect quality? I'm still drooling from the last time I had Thai food at Sushi Thai Garden http://www.yelp.com/bi..., so I order the Thai chicken pasta which is linguini with sautéed chicken, Julienne carrots, green onion and a spicy peanut sauce topped with fresh bean sprouts. My co-workers ordered two appetizers, which are platter-sized. I think one of them was a Quesadilla platter, grilled flour tortilla filled with melted cheese, green onions, and chile alongside guacamole, salsa and sour cream with chicken. I forget what the other platter was, but I do remember they both tasted good.

When my Thai chicken pasta came, my eyes and appetite opened. I love anything with noodles and peanut sauce so needless to say, it was a great meal with moderate spice. I did not end up finishing the whole thing though and had to bag it up in a nice "Cheesecake Factory" bag.

Then comes the highlight of the event: dessert. Even though I normally don't go for the dessert, who am I kidding? This is the Cheesecake Factory and no way am I skipping out on cheesecake as a first-timer patron. My eyes delightfully narrowed down to the fresh strawberry. I imagined that it was cheesecake and strawberries swirled in together, creating what I imagine perfect harmony. To my slight disappointment, the strawberry cheesecake in front of me is actually a regular piece of cheesecake with some fresh strawberries and strawberry syrup spread on top with fancy balls of creme on the sides. I'll still eat it though, who am I kidding? Actually, I'm normally not a huge fan of cheesecake that much, but I'm willing to be excited for the cheesecake here. It was good and I think I dropped down about $40 in total including a portion to chip in for my co-worker's birthday meal.

The waitress was nice enough to take our group picture. It didn't come out as well as I thought it would be since the flash wasn't that good, but she made the effort. What was a little bothersome was that she failed to bring us proper silverware for our desserts. We all had desserts, but no spoons. Instead of waiting continually for her to show up, we flagged down the busboys and they brought us the silverware instead. Actually, while our waitress was nice and brought us the birthday upside-down cheesecake for my co-worker, our waitress wasn't really around to check up on us to see if we needed anything. Yes, cheesecake factory is a busy place, but there's no reason to skip on the service. I had a good time here though and will see if fate will give me an opportunity to go back and try the Cheesecake Factory again.

PROS: incredibly vast menu selection, delicious cheesecakes
CONS: pricey, servers not available at times

I do enjoy going to the cheesecake factory. It's reasonably priced and there are decent portions. There are nights were it's extremely crowded and my boyfriend and i will just settle for PF Chang's next door.

The cheesecake is good, but i'm a Brooklyn girl, so Juniors will ALWAYS have my heart :-)

Cheesy Chain...

Ok, I hate to admit it but I've been here.  This is a perennial crowd favorite for a variety of reasons.

Firstly the portions are pretty big - apparently the Cheesecake folks are part of the ongoing battle of the bulge - and they are on the winning team.

If, after the appetizers and mains you still have room, there are always the various cheesecakes to add the finishing touch to your arteries.

The food is tasty enough, but the place is always mobbed and it is not unusual to see people standing out front waiting to get seated.

I try to avoid the place as I am not a big fan of crowds.

Parking lot in front.

what i like about all cheesecake factory restaurants is that i can go to any one of them and know exactly what i want to eat. i love the luau salad. i ask for no fried wonton, and add avocado to it. perfect every time. including at this location.
ok service, horrible ambiance, decent prices on decent wines, and exactly what i expected. good for you, cheesecake factory!

This chain restaurant is one of the ones that gets you coming back for their large portions, decent prices and that damned cheesecake.

They have an assortment of style so, sometimes when you're craving something just a little different than NY style it pays to drop by.

Floors here for some odd reason are super slippery. During my visit I saw not only myself and other patrons nearly eat it on their floors, but also some of the wait staff.

There are plenty of servers and they have designated areas it seems so when it comes down to being taken care of there is always someone around.

This one is fairly large and the pager they give you when you're waiting for a table seemed to work just fine when I was browsing books in the B&N next door.

I've found Cheesecake factory to be consistant in their food.
We all know they have amazing cheesecake.  The other food can be hit or miss. I find that a lot of the stuff is really too heavy and makes me feel like I just ate lead.
The salads are really good, and the way to go if you just want something to eat so you don't feel guilty just having cheesecake.

If you go to this one on a Friday or a Saturday night expect to be waiting a while.

Even though it's called the "Cheesecake Factory", I actually don't care for the cheesecake. You can get better cheesecake for lower prices elsewhere. However, the rest of the stuff is pretty good! Sure, everything is a bit pricey here, but you get free bread for the duration of your visit!
I REALLY like the Fresh Strawberry Shortcake. My absolute favorite there. Whipped cream piled high on anything will make my heart skip a beat anytime.
The pasta is decent, and the Asian appetizers are something to look for! The drinks are pretty too!

Expect a long wait at any time.

I loathe chain restaurants but Cheesecake Factory is goodness in a big bowl. They have huuuge portions of pasta and good sandwiches. Of course if you have room left get a cheesecake...my favorites include the pumpkin cheesecake and godiva cheesecake. Long waits usually if you go on weekends.

I have always liked this place.  The one thing I never liked, though, is the fact that the wait is always mad (yes, I said mad) long and those beeper devices that vibrate scare me.  Okay, moving on...

The food is pretty good but it's all about the quantity.  Expect a large portion of whatever you order.  We all know that you really go there for the cheesecake, though.  Good stuff!  The cheesecake menu takes up a whole page on its own.

If you can get past the slippery floor, waitresses with strange names, and the wait, this place is worth a visit.

I'm going to play first I'll say something nice then I'll say something bad.

Nice: The decor is nice and the seating is very comfortable.
Bad: The decor is nice while your standing and waiting(sometimes over 1-3 hours!)  for one those comfortable seats.

Nice: Their menu is huge and you can find almost anything on it.
Bad: Their menu is huge and sometimes it's hard to find what it is you want to eat.

Nice: The waiters here are generally friendly
Bad: The people who take the names and assign you beepers think way too highly of themselves.

Nice: The food is good and the portions are huge
Bad: The food is good and the portions are SO it's hard to get to dessert!!(ok not much of negative there sorry!)

I can't do nice and bad with their cheesecake it's really good!!  It's second only to Junior's. Over all Cheesecake Factory is good but just be ready for the wait.

Far too expensive.
An absolutely insane wait, no matter when you are dining
A miraculously high reputation which it does not deserve
Food which is edible, and can also be found in more skilled variations at other restaurants
Gaudy, unnecessary, and chunky decor
Inattentive wait staff
I've never felt content or happy after a meal here (and this should displease you, too)

The tally=

Don't go.

There is always an insane wait at this place for some reason. I don't know why.
The dessert is the ONLY reason to go. The cheesecakes are really good, but sometimes the wait is just too much. I personally like the white chocolate macadamia nut, banana cream, key lime pie, and the peanut butter one who's name escapes me...
the food there is ok, i like the fried chicken salad in which no one ever finishes.
so if there isn't a huge wait then go, i'm not about to stay there for 2 hours for cheesecake, and ok food.

Pricey!!  If that is one word i can use, thats it, pricey!

This place is very pretty, and they is always a little wait. The food is ok, they have a great mix from tex mex to Italian. The meals are far to big! If your trying to have a 3course meal, good luck. I had the bread, and split the Nachos(which were just ok) and buffalo wings(very spicy!) And i was stuffed and couldn't even touch my main course i got it to go and grabbed the cheesecake.

The Factory is bout quantity vs quality. A massive slice of cheesecake came out with half a can of whip cream! Waaayyy to much, but i stuffed my face, and got the extra to go lol.

Pros: great parking and other things to do i the area, filling food, not feeling like a fat ass cuz everyone is eating like fatasses lol

Cons:That price for thats only ehhh, is not cool, if ya can book it to Junior's in Brooklyn, waay better! The waitress was not happy to be there, and showed it every minute

another con that was a little strange, the floor was slipper was hell my friend almost busted her ass twice!

I've been meaning to try this place out for the past decade and I finally got around to it this past weekend. We made the big mistake of going at 8:30pm on a Friday night. Which, as we all know, is the most busiest time of the night for most restaurants. We had to wait 40min before we got a table and I figured we'd have to wait an additional 40min before we got our meals. However, despite how busy the place was, we still got our food very quickly. Our waitress did a great job servicing us. The food was good and I really liked the decor. I would definitely go back again. (I'm not a fan of cheesecake so I can't really comment on how good their's is).

Okay. To me you only go here for the dessert. I'm sorry, but the food (and the portions) suck majorly, and it's quite costly, but the cheesecake makes up for it. My fav is the chocolate tuxedo cheesecake. Prices start at $7.50 for a slice, but it is soooo worth it.

Yes, the wait sucks. Yes, the food is good. Is it worth it?  You'll have to decide for yourself.  Personally, I've never had a bad meal here.  The Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps are a nice starter. And the Orange Chicken is good stuff. Salads are nice and large. And the desserts are sweeeet. Prices are reasonable, the menu selection is varied (the menu is so long they found room for advertisements), and the atmosphere is comfortable. Listen people, you're in a mall - what do you want?  Some of the staffers seem self-important and empowered when they hand out beepers. Hey, I guess it's cooler than handing out free samples of bourbon chicken by the food court.

Obviously the person who said that the food here "majorly sucks" did not get the chicken salad sandwich, which is the best I've ever had. It;s got chopped nuts and celery in it and comes on some kind of focaccia (sp?) bread that's awesome and a full salad. True, the prices are pretty steep which accounts for the star missing in the rating......this sandwich, for example, might run you 9-10 dollars plus tax and tip, but I think it's worth it. And the desserts, predictably, are amazing. A good place for a date or special meal in my opinion.

I don't understand why people would wait 1.5-2 hours for this place. We got there on a Sun. at 4:00, waited 1 hour, then then put in the bar area where the tables are right on top of each other. You literally are sitting right next to strangers on both sides. $2.50 fo a soda is rather high (re-fillable). The salads are large, but hey, it is mostly lettuce. There is no children's menu. The cheesecake is delicous but expensive for a small slice. The other main courses are good, but certainly not worth a wait more than 15 min.
