OK...OK... call me a nerd all you want, but recently I attended a Harry Potter Party. Gryffindor House had to be represented.

So, I was put in charge of butter beer and chocolate frogs. The butter beer was easy, but hunting down a mold for chocolate frogs proved to be a little more difficult.

Now, I know you can just buy chocolate frogs in the stores, but depending where you go you'll pay $2 - $4 a piece!!! I decided to home make them.

I had to find a place with chocolate frog candy molds. After searching every Michael's, party store and craft store in the area I ran across The Candy Factory. If anyone would have it, this would be the place!

I went on a Saturday and the man working in the store was extremely helpful. Although they didn't have frog molds, they had everything else you could imagine! From the molds and chocolate in all sorts of varieties to some candies already made, The Candy Factory would be the perfect place to start any home candy adventure.

In case you were wondering, since I didn't find the frog molds we elected to make creepy crawly chocolates. Worms, bugs and critters made of chocolate, supplemented by authentic chocolate frogs, made the perfect plate for the party. Now all we needed were collectible wizard cards!
