Burger Barn is a nice little takeout stand across from the public park in downtown Esparto. We stopped there after lunch on a hot summer afternoon. I saw the JAVA sign outside and immediately thought "coffee milkshake!"

Well, they don't have coffee ice cream, but they did offer to pull me an espresso & mix it with my choice of ice cream. Well, ok, I am convinced! I went with vanilla ice cream and a double espresso shot. This delicious concoction gets my unqualified recommendation. It is perfect.

We didn't try anything else, but the burgers & fries look good. They also have fish & chips and deep-fried twinkies. Oh, and a PB&J for only $1.70!
