I'm so glad we chose this place for lunch. I ordered the homemade lentil burger and it was delicious (so much so that it is a week later and I keep thinking about it, and I'm not a vegetarian).
The chocolate chip cookies are huge and are really good. I didn't really like the peanut butter balls, but that cookie is one of the best!
(I just read some other reviews - yes, service was slow, count on that, but it was worth the wait.) -

some things dont change. the preposterously and perpetually slow service irks me every time, to the point i havent been in for sevefal years, that is until today. once again, a delicious bagel sandwich marred by a nearly twenty minute wait. come on brown bag, the dining room was empty, no one in the room when i ordered. you can do better. it,s almost as if one is pegged as from away and an extra 10 minutes is tacked on. it takes nearly three minutes to fry an egg and toast a bagel. i know the pile of bacon and hash browns are ready. you , brown bag, yes you, can do better.
the onion bagel toasted perfect slathered in warm cream cheese contains an over easy egg and several slices of bcon. excellent. just make sure you leave yourself at least twenty minutes for any item on the menu, lunch sanwiches, cold sandwiches, hot breakfast plates. all good, just not if want food now. -

Stopped in right off the plane from rockland. Had the crab roll daily special. Man I love that buttered New England roll!!
Crab was sweet and just what I needed after my long flight up to Maine -

The Brown Bag was my first ever employer, so I became very familiar with their foods when I was 16. What I love about this place is how fresh all of the food is. From the breads, to the side salads and tabouleh each dish is prepared on premises, and it shows. I highly recommend their quiches, and the roast beef and boursin cheese sub.
