Would totally recommend the Brown Baer. Wandered in here while staying in Elkhart Lake for a weekend. The place had a good tap selection, and it looked like a decent menu, though I didn't try the food. Bartenders were attentive and the place was jamming for a Sunday night. There was live blues music, which was quite decent. Although the place gets a star off for a chap we'll call 'Milwaukee 52'. If there's a drunk reeling around the place, getting in everyone's face (this includes the band), and chasing women off the dance floor, you'd think the bouncer would kindly escort him out.

The food is THE BEST. Everything is so fresh and they make it right there in their little kitchen. It's not a sit down restaurant, it's a bar, so don't go expecting anything fancy. If your looking for good food, you can find it here. I crave their veggie burger every time I am away and when I can catch the meatloaf/mac and cheese special it is home cooking like i've never been able to do myself.
The bar is also very fun, pool, darts, swings, an empty ant farm, and lots of bear decor. You really just can't go wrong. The bands they book are always really fun and somehow every time I'm out i always seem to end up here.
