Musical theatre! In Portland! (sort of, Tigard... thank goodness for google maps.)
The Broadway Rose isn't Broadway. It's not even the Armory, but it's a good old time, and a great value.
Les Miserables for $25? Why not?
The shows are currently performed in a high school auditorium (which was perfectly fine), but I hear the BR is very close to having their own, year round theater building.

Snowing, Ice, State of Emergency . . . don't think they're going to refund your money.
What a jerk!?! Here I am stuck inside by 2 feet of snow and he won't even give us credit for another show. So much for the good will of the arts. I won't let anyone go to that theater.
What would have happened if grandma had died? Nope sorry can't attend the funeral got tickets to Broadway Rose that I can't exchange. My god, have a heart. Scrooge McDuck must be running the place . . . the old skin-flint!!!! Even the Keller refunds in cases of emergency.
Go see your musical theater somewhere else.

The Broadway Rose also provides educational opportunities for children and teens with workshops, summer drama camps, and a unique technical internship program.
History
Established in 1992
The Broadway Rose Theatre Company has been successfully producing professional theater in Tigard since 1992. The company began as a summer theater, but expanded to a year-round season in 2009 with the opening of its own theater near downtown Tigard. As the only professional musical theater company in Washington County, The Broadway Rose plays an important role in enriching the community's cultural arts.
The Broadway Rose was named the 2009 "Business of the Year" by the Tigard Chamber of Commerce and was selected as one of the "100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon" by Oregon Business Magazine.
