I ended up staying here because The Angeleno (li'l over a mile away) overbooked the hotel and paid for my room here.  Having stayed now, I would have paid for it even if The Angeleno hadn't.

While I was a bit skeptical about the parking lot being at the same level as the rooms (when it comes to hotel preferences, I'm a "high floor" guy), I quickly got over it when the front desk clerk showed me to my room and pointed out its features and comforts (how the temp control worked, where my complimentary bottled water lived, how the lighting system worked).  After a long day, a weary traveler wants to be taken care of, so this was a nice touch (plus I had the chance to grab a delicious apple from the bowl in reception).

Love the in-room energy conservation system, the insanely comfortable beds, the obscenely clean bathrooms, and the skylight.  (Yes, I said SKYLIGHT!)

Where's The Angeleno again?  Can't seem to remember...

So, I can't believe I didn't review this place after staying there nearly a year ago. It was perfect. Oh, and did I mention that they had my reservation for the wrong night, and I'm still giving it five stars, that should tell you something.

I needed a place to stay on the last night of the AIDS LifeCycle ride. The "preferred" hotel had been booked, so I found the Brentwood Inn via Trip Advisor reviews. It did not disappoint.

They made up for the mistake with my reservation by giving me an amazing room, it was the "model" unit for the remodel that they did. Spacious, warm, huge shower, skylight, heaven! I wanted to stay in that room and enjoy it for a long time.

The front desk people were amazingly inviting, especially for a guy who had been sleeping in a tent for a week. They understood how badly I wanted to take a shower and have a peaceful experience, and they made it great.

I am booked for the Brentwood Inn again in a few weeks for the same occasion. This time I didn't even check into the "preferred" hotel for the event, I went directly to the Brentwood Inn. No need to look elsewhere.

Looking forward to another great stay.

I have been staying here for a month--- The most UNBELIEVABLY nice people you will ever meet. Kanuja and JC own the place and i feel like they are family now. they are THE MOST accommodating, friendly people!  This is an old 40's motel that they have revamped. Great color schemes, comfortable beds, perfect pillows, and for the guys- plasma tvs!  my room was on the top corner so i had beautiful windows with natural light and air - ask for room 453.  they serve delicious muffins and croissants, oatmeal, fruit, etc with tea and coffee each morning.  there is a nice little courtyard to eat your brekkies right off the office.  the location is great for taking long strolls or runs through very nice neighborhoods. you can also walk to lots of cute restaurants and shoppes. if i am ever back in LA i will FOR SURE stay here with my new little family :) LOVE YOU GUYS and already miss you !! ! ! ! !
