The Book Mark is a little far for me, but I do like to support local stores versus big national chains when I can. That doesn't mean you won't find me strolling the aisles in Barnes & Noble though.
The Book Mark is great in supporting the local authors as well as featuring many artists with their visits and signings. I haven't personally ordered anything through them, but they seem to be willing to order anything you want but they may not have.
The four stars is mostly due to the charm of this little bookstore. Their selection isn't the best but with a small bookstore, I don't expect it to be. However what they do carry is a mix of popular and quirky. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. They occasionally host book signings here also. Definitely stop by while in the Atlantic Beach area!
