Good guys. I've brought my bikes here for maintenance in the past. I also purchased my Specialized road bike here because they were the last dealer in the area to have my size before the model year closed out!
They promised me "free service" with the bike, but that didn't turn out to be completely true when they swapped out my brakes. Nevertheless, the charge was quite fair.
They gave me a good price on the bike itself, but when I considered adding on accessories, the internet was definitely the way to go. Watch out, the pedals and other items are on the high side...
Good bunch of guys here. I enjoy coming by for my maintenance, even though it means going to the valley...
I bought a Specialized Globe Carmel 1 from these guys for less than anyone in LA county was advertising. Roberto is a great guy, so are the rest of the staff. I asked him where I should eat lunch and he walked me down the street to a pizza cafe that was great - he even opened the door. I like the feel in this bike shop. They don't make you beg for service, in fact they all seem to enjoy working there and they make themselves available as soon as you walk in. Accessories like bells and lights are a bit over priced, as I surveyed 3 other shops prior to purchasing a bike. They offer free service for life of the bike; tune ups, adjustments and such - I think they also detail your bike for free. If you're looking for a new or used bike, I'd call them now. [I haven't been able to find a website for them]
We walked in frustrated and short on time after another bike shop had screwed us over. Everyone here was extremely kind to us, and they gave us very fair prices. It's not quite a family run business, but it definitely feels like one. They even stayed late on a Friday to custom install a car rack for us.
