Cassandra is great - I've been seeing her for almost a year for waxing and the occasional facial. She's very caring and attentive - and really works with you on finding the best skin care regimen (I have crazy sensitive skin). Her online booking is a breeze, and I never have to wait for my appointment. I highly recommend her.

Cassandra gave me a little bit of sunshine when I went to see her yesterday for a facial. Just what I needed during this crazy Summer 2011.
Her space is cozy and welcoming, and she sits down with you before the session starts to asses the levels of your skin moisture with one of her many cool gadgets. Then, we had a conversation about what is good for your skin and how eating also affects how it looks. Turns out I'm doing the right think by moisturizing with jojoba oil and taking fish oil everyday. Still, having a facial from time to time is a great thing to make your skin glow, and to replenish and detox it.
And what a facial! 80 minutes of pure bliss! She applied silky products on my face and did a great job by giving me a delicate but deep cleansing. I didn't experiment any significant redness (I have very, very sensitive skin), and just a couple of hours later you couldn't even tell I just had a facial. She combines it with massage to make it the ultimate relaxing experience. I can tell that this has been the first time I've felt so relaxed while having my skin worked on.
I loved the fact that she used a lovely organic product line on me, and great locally-made gadgets by Clarisonic. By the end of the facial, I got some water and time enough to stretch a little bit before getting ready to leave.
I'll be definitely back for a quarterly facial! ¡Gracias Cassandra! -

Cassandra is amazing! She is really knowledgeable about everything related to skin and hair removal. She's also a genuine and caring person who always makes me smile.
I like that you can sign up for appointments online which is convenient since I never have time to call places during regular business hours.
Every time I go to the Bathery, I come away feeling refreshed and grateful that her office is in my neighborhood. But, you know what? If she wasn't, I'd still continue to go to her - she's worth the drive. -

The other reviews say it all... Cassandra is awesome. I was in the market for electrolysis, and was a little bit nervous. I checked the trusty Yelp reviews and felt the love. This seemed like the place for me!
Cassandra is so friendly, easy to talk to, and smart. She really knows her stuff, and really makes you feel at ease. I'd recommend her to anyone! -

Best wax I've ever gotten! I'm kind of new to waxing so, the only other place I've been is Wax-On in Downtown Kirkland. I thought they were doing a decent job since I could get about five weeks between a wax. WELL, The Bathery was definitely a lesson in what a good wax is.
I got a teeny bikini. She started it with sugar wax with the option to switch to regular wax if it became too painful, which it did. OMG, did it hurt! It didn't really matter whether she used sugar or regular wax. This was the most painful wax I've ever gotten and when it was over my tender bits looked like they were going to scab over. She pulled out this doughy mask and placed over the entire area and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. When she took it off you'd never know it had just gotten waxed, let alone looked like strawberry skin.
It's been 10 weeks since then and the new growth is still wispy fine and short. I'm prone to ingrowns and they were almost nonexistent. I'm just starting to think about going back in to freshen up. -

I saw Cassandra to get in on the 50% off waxing special I found on Yelp. Last night, I was back in for a facial. Wow! Not only was I completely pampered with a heavenly massage, my face felt amazing and still does today! She had some great thoughts and tips for my skin care routine. This gal knows her stuff!
I appreciate the unpretentious feel of the Bathery and the prices just cannot possibly be beat. I will absolutely be back and a few friends will as well!Listed in: My Neighborhood, wedding madness

Everyone is right... Cassandra is great, down to earth, kind, and professional. My face looks and feels great and I look forward to getting my facial done again in about three weeks.
I'm going to try sugaring too... it will be interesting to see how it compares to hard wax for the Brazilian I like to get a few times a year. i certainly won't be embarrassed having Cassandra do it, which is a plus, and I trust her to have really good skills.
Her prices are fair to excellent, her treatment room is small but clean and quiet, and parking is easy at this office building next to Michael's. -

I have to schedule childcare for any appointment I make, so I greatly appreciate someone who is reliable. I had four 15 minute appointments scheduled with Cassandra (the Bathery) and each time I was not satisfied with some aspect of the service I received- mainly related to her reliability.
I had electrolysis services at another place a couple times before I went to Cassandra and I was happy going there. However, Cassandra was less expensive and much closer, so I decided I would give her a try.
The first time I went to see her, the thing I had to hold in my hand gave me some really uncomfortable shocks that I had not experienced before. I found that strange so I didn't go back for a full year.
After taking a break for a year, I thought I would give her another try. The second time I was scheduled to see her, she canceled a couple hours before my appointment due to a contact lens problem.
The third time she was about 20 minutes late. I purposely scheduled the first appointment of the day so I wouldn't be stuck waiting when someone goes over their scheduled time, but she arrived late to the office.
The fourth and last time I waited for 25 minutes before telling the not overly friendly receptionist to forget it and I walked out. I was expecting an apology phone call or email after I walked out in frustration- but nothing; never heard from her.
On a more positive note, she seemed to have decent skills in electrolysis and is quite friendly (so I gave her 2 stars instead of 1 for that reason). She worked much slower than the girl I see now though. I appreciate the reliability and professionalism at the current place I go to, even though it is more inconvenient and expensive. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to the Bathery. -

Cassandra gave me some SMOOTH pits! She does have a great little space and took the time to listen to any concerns, worries, questions. I got to be sugared, and it was oh so not painful! I was worried, but she took her time and explained to me what was going on. She then pampered the pits with a nice little mud mask which was delightful. I will be coming back to get some more work done, and I am looking forward to it. Thank you for sugaring me!

Cassandra gave me a facial a couple of months ago and it was fantastic. My skin felt soft and smooth and lovely. I only wish that it was a little closer to Seattle and I would be there every month -- If you live in KIrkland this is where you should be. The services are so reasonably priced that you can afford to pamper yourself with a little luxury.

I've been getting electrolysis from Cassandra for a few months now--before that, I lived in NYC and went to Mario Badescu. Cassandra is VERY good--you can really tell with electrolysis how experienced someone is, and she is clearly an old hand with the needle!
If you've had thermolysis in the past, Cassandra does "blend" electrolysis, which takes longer. But that's reflected in the price, so you don't wind up paying any more. -

I have been in to see Cassandra twice now - once for a facial (which was yummy and relaxing) and once for a sugaring! I recommend her for either - and the sugaring was good, it eliminated the hairs without leaving my skin tender and sensitive. She used a soothing pack on the skin afterwards. What a treat! Plus, her rates are reasonable, and she uses great products.

I went to the Bathery Electrolysis & Skincare recently and had a body sugar scrub treatment. Cassandra was so easy to relate with and the time spent was totally relaxing. My skin is always pretty dry and flaky but it looked and felt soft and new for the first time in many, many years. I felt really pampered and will definitely go back again. This was such a great experience I had to recommend Cassandra for anyone looking for some help with skin care and or softer skin. P.S. the other great bonus, her pricing is very reasonable.

Cassandra knows a lot about her craft and cares about her clients. I've been seeing her for several months now and already see an improvement thanks to her meticulous work as an electrologist.. She has the cutest studio/spa/office that is always cozy and warm, tranquil, and nicely lit. Her prices are very reasonable, and she offers wonderful specials periodically. Highly recommended!
