3330 Sandy Plains RdYes, it's called the Art Place, and that's kind of tacky and obvious, but I'm going to overlook that.
The Art Place has been one of the few art-related facilities available in Marietta for quite some time. They offer just about every kind of function you could imagine here: art classes, art camps, theater troupes, art exhibitions, public events in their small but very nice open court backyard, and so on.
They have a nice little black box theater that holds a small group where I've seen a number of nice local performances. They've also in the past allowed live bands to play and put on small art exhibitions. They seem to be open to all sorts of functions, no matter what their breadth.
Their list of summer activities seems to go on forever: click on their website and check the schedule! It's often either free or very cheap.
