Yesterday I enjoyed high tea and a tarot reading at The Antiquery.  I drank rose tea with my choice of honey, sugar or Splenda.  I ate lemon poppy seed pound cake and taffy candy (with a heart in the center) from antique dishes.  I stirred my tea with a tiny gold plated spoon.

Cathi gave me a combination I Ching and tarot reading.  She even gave me a print out of my personal tarot card.  Cathi's cards were well worn.  She seemed a little shaky at first until we found a balance.  Cathi isn't one to make set predictions so far into the future, which is a good thing.

I learned a few things about my situation that I never would have considered otherwise.  I wouldn't label Cathi a "fortune teller."  She never said anything about me being cursed or otherwise unfortunate.  We had a great conversation over a pot of tea.  It only cost twenty-five dollars too!
