My wife says she was very professional and respectful, and she hit all the right points with just the right amount of pressure. She focused on the areas I requested and it made a world of difference. I loved it and would recommend her highly.

- Phone tagging before got an appointment.
- Not using oil or cream, instead massage through a sheet ... I could feel the sheet against my skin, I do not like the sensation.
- The pressure missed many points. I think it's because the sheet, you know, hehe :)
- Just like Yelp rating for 2 stars : "Meh. I've experienced better." Yup. I've experienced better, even at $20 foot massage place which do the whole body.
- Two stars because I paid with Yelp deal, so it was not hurt so bad. And the massage bed very comfortable. -

I had a bad experience with the acupressure massage however Jeri respectfully addressed it after I posted a negative review.
I have since received a refund for my Yelp deal and I'm content. I have concluded that Jeri is a great person who sometimes has bad days, just like the rest of us. I wish I had come on a 5-star day because I probably would be returning. -

Being trained in sports massage myself, I have an inkling about what's going on. I've had some serious hip issues for the past five years and usually have my inexperienced wife jam her elbow into where it counts.
Someimes I just want to relax and not have to give instructions although my wife is getting a lot better about palpating and working on my trouble spots. With some formal training she'll be a great massage therapist.
I thought I'd try one of these yelp deals. Well... after the 2 or 3 day wait to hear back from her on my initial call, we played phone tag because she couldn't manage calling me at a decent hour. When I finally got the appointment I showed up and the lady had no recollection that I had ordered the yelp deal but gave it to me anyway.
I found it hard to do the relax and receive thing as there were several times she needed direction. She never addressed my hip issues which I explained was the reason I was there. Whatr is with these people that charge $100 and have no clue what's going on.
I've never been to those joints that are just pimping massage therapist but I would imagine this lady is a step above.Comment from Jeri P. of The Amma Station 10/14/2011

Jerri moved!!! She is no longer at the hole-in-the-wall place, but another location in Sunnyvale. I'll update it once I get her business card.
Jerri is incredible. She is incredibly friendly and flexible when it comes to making appointments. She also has a definite magical touch. I go to see her once a month, and always find myself nodding off during her massage. Jeri is a good therapist with a warm personality. Her hours are excellent and she is flexible with appointment time.
The new location is spacious and clean. Her rates are also extremely reasonable. -

I get massages frequently, but Jeri's massage might be the best one I've ever gotten in terms of helping me with my trouble spots. Spa massages are kind of standard. In contrast, Jeri focused on the places where I had the most stress and tension, and they felt so much more loose afterward. I am definitely going back to her.

Jerry has been working on me for some time, She has gotten alot of my problem areas fixed. I recommend buying a package so you get a bit of a discount then you can go more often.

I don't why it's taken me so long to Yelp about Jeri . . . she was amazing! She has magic fingers and puts just the right amount of pressure into her massages. Her fingers can apply tons of pressure or go light if that's what you prefer (I prefer my massages with a lot of pressure). She finds out exactly what you're looking for ahead of time and then customizes her techniques based upon your feedback. The location in Sunnyvale is very professional and comfortable. She is also very flexible with her appointment times. I would definitely recommend Jeri as a massage therapist!

I was referred to Jeri originally by my doctor to assist with sciatica and sports-related injuries. SHE IS AMAZING. I had worked through various pains for so long, I forgot what it felt like to be truly well until Jeri went to work. If you have a stiff neck, shoulder, headaches, numbness, knee pain...go see Jeri. This isn't your fluffy Swedish massage all about oils and relaxation--this is about your body working better. Jeri is a therapist, not just a masseur and my body is deeply grateful for her ministrations.

If you want to find a masseuse that cares about you and your well being then Jeri is who you are looking for. She is dedicated to her clients and you cannot beat the one on one personal attention. I have received several massages from her and given gift certificates to friends/relatives. Everyone that i have referred has been very pleased.

My boyfriend and I have been to several masseuses in the bay area, and Jeri is the first one we feel like it's worth returning to. We were so sore after our skiing trip and she made us feel so much better. She is very knowledgeable about pressure points and strong enough to actually manipulate them effectively. She's great.
We both had deep tissue massage last time. I plan to visit Jeri again for a full body amma massage. -

I have no idea why it's taken me this long to write a review because I've been seeing Jeri for YEARS! She's helped with migraines, prenatal aches and pains (and with carrying twins, those were pretty major), shoulder and neck pain, and overall well-being and helping me to keep my body in balance. She knows EXACTLY what she's doing and is very responsive to your body's feedback. Her "new" location is very soothing; I feel like I'm going on nice, relaxing mini get-away. Her rates are also very reasonable, especially if you go with the pre-paid massages.
If you are looking for a froofy whimpy massage, this may not me for you, but if you want to walk away feeling stretched, refreshed and 10 pounds lighter, she can work her magic. I can't say enough good things! -

i agree with Tuuyen. Jerri is definitely the best massage therpist, but the hole in the wall location + building just does not make it a 5 star. i love jeri and she has magical hands. i really hope she could moev to another place and make the environment a little nicer!
