Great food. On our way back from Mt. Rainier at 9:00 pm, they were still open. Otto R hits the nail on the head: it may look like a hole in the wall, but the food is great!
Most (all?) of their dishes had tofu as an option, so for us vegetarians the menu selection is great (see how easy it is to get "tofu" and "vegetarian" into a review for searches to find).
The portions were decent sizes, three of us had spring rolls (veggie, four, one went home) two curries, and a Phad Thai (enough of each entree for lunch tomorrow).
The service was kind and attentive, without being intrusive. Water was offered when glasses ran low (one of my pet peeves is not getting water refilled). The prices were quite reasonable.
Make this a stop on your way to or from Mt. Rainier, or whenever you're in the neighborhood.
This place looks like a hole in the wall on the outside (looks like a hole in the wall on the inside too).
But the food is SO good. We ended up ordering the chicken satay appetizer and the spring roll appetizer, and one plate of phad Thai. SO MUCH FOOD.
The spring rolls are HUGE, and you get 4 skewers of chicken meat on satay plate.
The phad Thai was rocking as well.
Oh, they also have a lunch buffet from 11am to 3pm daily, and it looks like they had 7-8 different items, and its 8.99. Not bad.
