This is my go-to for Thai takeout.  I like it because it's:
    1. fast - always ready in 10 minutes and I never have to wait once I get to the restaurant (which would defeat the purpose of ordering take-out)
    2. cheap - all the noodle dishes are $8.75
    3. open late - open til 1am on weeknights
    4. tastes good - tried most of the noodle dishes and the green curry and liked it all

The only con for this place is that they have a $10 minimum for credit cards, which is awkward because most of their dishes are less than $10.

So I pass this place up quite a bit and every time I do I say to myself, "oh yeah, I need to check this place out."  Last night I was craving soup and while on my way to my "go to" pho place, I was stopped at the corner of Polk and California (red light) and remembered "oh yeah, I've been wanting to check out that place up the street" and viola, I found myself at the door step of Thai Thai determined to order the beef noodle soup.  Unfortunately I did not have enough cash on me (who carries cash these days?), and had to order more than I wanted to ($10 minimum).  In not reading the menu well, I assumed the shrimp roll was in fact a shrimp spring roll (for $8), so I used my debt card as payment and ordered extra (on their menu is a "veggie" spring roll - so I assumed they also had a "shrimp" spring roll).

In waiting for my order I anticipated the fresh shrimp spring roll with its tasty basil, bean sprouts, carrots and rice noodles dipped into a peanut sauce, and was fine with extra order (wasn't worried about eating extra calories as spring rolls are virtually caloric free); and yeah, $8.00 is a bit much for a shrimp spring roll, but I'm a sucker, what can I say; I was hungry.

While at home I opened up the greasy box and unfortunately to my surprise I found greasy shrinked up shrimp rolls that were completely tasteless (except for the grease) YUK!  I was totally not prepared for this and very disappointed.  Needless to say, I checked their online menu (which I noted each items prices to be $1.00 more than their actual restaurant menu prices (?)) and what do you know, there at the bottom of the appetizers listed "Shrimp Rolls = Marinated shrimp wrapped in egg roll wrapper, served with sweet and sour sauce."  I suppose I should have intuitively known it was FRIED - but I didn't.  Shame on me; but really, if the item is fried, ALL restaurants should put "deep fried" in the description as some of us are health conscious and avoid fried foods as if it were a death sentence.

As previously mentioned the Shrimp was so deeply fried I could not taste the "marinated" part an the shrimp was barely there (tasteless).

Lastly, the Beef Soup was perfectly portioned and the broth/beef was tasty - so this was a plus.  I will certainly order from Thai Thai again, of course, with cash in hand and will also scrutinize the menu better.

I come here every so often because it's convenient for me. I have tried so many things on their menu, pan-fried noodle, curry, rice plate and dessert. I would say their pan-fried noodles are only so-so because it's pretty inconsistent, sometime it would be really good, sometime its ok. The curry never fail me though, so that's good. The rice plates I tried are so far so good.

I brought my friends here on different occasions and all of them compliment the tastiness (mostly rice plates).

Dishes I would not order again: Curry Noodles, just a weird combination for me, Papaya Salad, tooooo vinegary for me. *updated 1/14* Do not get the duck curry. It's a pretty big disappointment for me. The curry is toooo liquidy and I would say the duck flavor overpower the curry, which means it has no curry taste. Definitely will not order duck curry again.

I would suggest people not to order online because they did not receive my order placement last time I went. So better call in or eat in.

Ok so I've had issues with this place before but I went back one last time to hopefully change my mind about what I think about the place.....me thinks not is right!  How do u mess up a spring roll ? Its like they left it sitting out for an hour...very tough...took one bite and yuck...they also mest up my boyfriends order...how do u mess up bbq beef??? Instead of bbq beef they gave him some kind of beef with string beans and peppers ....I think I will stick to Thai Stick. If you are looking for real Thai food go there cause I've never had any complaints when going to Thai Stick. Avoid Thai Thai noodle eeekkkk!

I came here after randomly walking down Hyde looking for a spot to eat.  When we walked in, the people were friendly and seated us, but it took a while to get some service (and they were out of Sapporo draft!).  When we finally placed our order, I got the Beef Salad and my buddy got a Chicken Thai Noodle Soup.  They brought his dish out in a somewhat timely fashion, but didn't even bring a spoon for his broth.  At least 10 minutes went by before they brought my salad out to me.  Honestly, how long does it take to throw a salad together.

When it finally arrived, I almost wish it hadn't.  The beef was WAY over marinated, and it seemed like they poured all of the left over marinade on the salad as the dressing.  After eating the top layer, I got to the middle and bottom portion of my salad and by that time, everything was swimming in a salty marinade that they thought was a salad dressing.  I couldn't even finish it.

Now I don't usually order a salad when I come to a Thai restaurant, and maybe their other food is better, but this dish and the slow wait to get my food will lead me to check out a lot of other places before I come back here.

    The average Thai corner restaurant.

This place is decently priced, open late, and has the typical items on the menu.  I wouldn't say it was the best, and I wouldn't say it was the worst.  I will become part of the permanent SF rotation, merely because it's close by.

    - Pad See Ew: A large portion, that wasn't too oily and over run with bamboo shoots.
    - Tom Yum: Average and refreshing.
    - Thai Basil Rice: I am addicted to Thai Green Curry, hence the list.  They have a pretty good thai basil fried rice. It has a nice kick to it, and was definitely the better things that I ordered from here.

Overall, these people are nice and the food comes out pretty quick. Takeout is fast too.

Solid Thai food, quick service, open late.

My roommate is Thai and says it's very authentic - I wouldn't know but I trust his judgment. The servers range from being extremely friendly to having little personality. They're attentive regardless and the food comes out quick. I don't think you can go wrong with the huge selection, either. My personal favorite is the beef pumpkin curry. No ambiance...but it doesn't matter. It's my default if I'm in the mood for Thai and I want to stay in the neighborhood.

Pineapple Fried Rice, you are amazing.

Seriously this restaurant is soooo good. Since it's near Polk, you can  walk by on a Friday night and see people passed out on their table, and the waitresses apparently don't care. Hilarious. But everything I've had has been really tasty. It doesn't look like much from the outdoors...or even indoors, but I love it.

The food is tasty and cheap, and they're open late (until 1am!). But I think that they have some consistency issues. I've ordered the pad see ew with chicken twice now within one week and they tasted remarkably different. The first portion was smaller, with wider rice noodles and was dusted with a generous portion of white pepper which made it taste pretty odd. The second version was more like what I'm used to and was larger. Both times though, it wasn't too oily (like the way Osha Thai makes it). Service is quick if not super friendly, but I'm okay with that. I will probably still continue to order from here because it is convenient and fairly cheap.

The one day I strayed away from my favorite dish, my taste buds paid dearly. My tongue resisted the ginger fried rice, but lost to my wallet's cheapskate wail which made me finish the mofo.

Kra Praw Moo Krob - this is for you. Oh crispy pork belly in generous portions, you light up my weekend life. A day at work when I conveniently forget my lunch at home, my lazy ass will make that block-long walk for you. The green beans and bell peppers are merely your background dancers, you are my superstar. I'll never stray again, I promise.

Probably the best thai in SF. My favorites are the thai bbq chicken, boneless charbroiled goodness with chili sauce. The yellow curry chicken is awesome, perfectly cooked potatoes and carrots mixed with lots of tender chicken. Both the regular and pineapple fried rice are really delicious. Great service, quick delivery and good price points. An overall all around winner.

One star for late night delivery on a weekday and one star for edible food - otherwise, Thai Thai Noodle was nothing to write home about.

Delivery was quick and we were starving from our cross-country trek (+). The food was bland as all get out (-). We had the shrimp spring rolls - which were alright though the accompanying sweet/spicy sauce was the real winner.

My pad thai was edible, though the chicken was dry as all get out. My fella got a dish with mixed seafood and wide flat noodles. By the time the food had gotten to us, the noodles had amassed into a giant doughy ball.

Online ordering was definitely a plus - though probs will keep an eye out for better thai.

I used to walk by this place and never went in because the decor suggested it wouldn't be that great. Then, one drunken night I went in with a bud and got the green curry with tofu. Holy Moses! I fell in love. I've had this at a lot of thai restaurants in town and this is the first place that I've found, that dries out the tofu before stir frying it and then cooking it in the coconut milk. Most places just put uncooked, soggy tofu in the coconut milk and think that's ok. I spent years making it at home  because I like the dried and fried method. Also the vegetables are delicious especially the eggplant which i never liked before. Their other dishes are great too, according to everyone i take here, although you never would guess by the decor.
The staff are nice and friendly and I go every week and they've only forgotten to add the tofu once on my take out order. But once in thirty or forty times is great compared to other places.

To preface, my boyfriend loves this place. So whenever its his turn to pick the take out, we usually wind up calling Thai Thai Noodle. I have mixed feelings about this place, as my experiences have been mixed. Sometimes the food is off the hook good and other times I want to demand a refund. Specifically:

    The pros:
    - Ridiculously cheap.
    - Open late...I believe they close at like 1am on the weekends.
    - Super close to our apartment, although its sad for me to admit that we often pay for delivery rather than walking the four blocks (round trip)

    The cons:
    - Somewhat bland, although this goes back to the inconsistency. Some days its so perfectly spicy and good, others I feel like someone forgot to add the chili flakes to the drunken noodle dish.
    - Kind of greasy (all the time)

    Overall:
When laziness prevails, a late night food craving pops up or when the BF chooses the thai, it's a decent option.

Decent Thai Place that's open late and delivers (They only charge $1.50 for delivery!)

I got the Pad See Ew with chicken, Pad Ke Moa (drunken noodles), sticky rice with Mango and Thai tea. Everything was good and flavorful. Only thing was it was a bit oily/greasy. Good portions except they gave so little sticky rice with the mango.

Overall, Fast and prompt delivery, cheap, and tasty food. Would come back and use their delivery again if I'm feeling lazy and in the area :)

I ordered the chicken satay because the girl on the phone said she loved it and I ordered the drunken noodles because I had a hangover, but hadn't lost my sense of humor.

    They were not good.

    And my expectations were low.

The drunken noodles were really wide and ridiculously doughy and greasy. The peanut sauce for the chicken satay would have been completely bland were it not for being overly sweet and tasted like oily peanut butter.

The second star is for their willingness to take advantage of the fact that I'll forget how bad it is some night at 1am and go back and they will still be open at that hour.

Five star for the combination of price and quality.  Walking past this place, I stopped in for some take-out on a whim, and ordered pad thai, pumpkin curry, chicken satay.  It was surprisingly good - larger portions and reasonably priced.  Tasted less greasy than most thai places which is a definite plus.  I'd go back more except we're moving in a couple of days.  Doh!!!

Only because they are one of the only places that serves khao soi.

Fell in love with it in chiang mai, thailand and still in a search for a good place for it.

This place isn't great by any means, but when you're having a khao soi craving it's just a few bucks before you have the sweet, spicy, pickled and fried crispies in front of your face.

I'm grateful to have this place near the Polk St bar action!!  As I may be making the new Wreck Room my usual dive -- Thai Thai Noodle will likely become my midnight go-to.

They are open late (2:30am on weekend), and unlike other late-night places, they are still very clean, well lit, and with pretty good service.

I like their menu as they have a variety of specials along with their standard dishes.  A special they alway seem to have is +$2.50 for a appetizer (soup, a spring roll, or a couple of chicken skeweres) with purchase of any entree.  I love tom-yum soup so I heart this deal.

Prices are very reasonable.  When I was there last Saturday, I tried their cod clay pot ($13.95) -- big chunks of butter dish with savory veggies and clearn noodles -- very delicious!  A typeical curry over rice will run you about $9.  They serve beer too (i.e. Blue Moon for $4) -- so you can keep the fun going :).

Neat little Thai restaurant sitting in Nob Hill. I got the Kao Tom which was good for a cold night. It's a rice porridge with mince meat. I thought it was a little under-seasoned and dull.but not going to be too critical because these items tend to be more clean and light. Tom Yum noodles are pretty good as well. Pretty authentic Thai restaurant that is great to eat anytime.

they have a creative menu with daily specials along with the traditional Thai noodle and rice dishes.

However, I stayed with the basics and got the beef curry fried rice and chicken pad thai for take-out.  Both meals were put on top of foil inside the plastic container, good since it was very hot when I picked it up (no thank you to melted plastic in my food).

the curry fried rice had lots of spices and curry in it, very tasty.  The pad thai was just okay, nothing amazing but then again, its just pad thai.  I'll have to go back and try their noodle specials and daily specials, pumpkin curry sounds yum.

Warning! My review is only of the service, as I was unable to eat their food...

I was looking for late-night delivery and Thai Thai Noodle was one of the few that said they offered delivery at 1AM on Friday. Their website says that they deliver until 2AM on Fridays, so I happily placed my order online. They said to expect a 45-60 minute wait, so I forgot about it until 2AM when I realized I hadn't received any kind of confirmation. I called the restaurant, and they said that they had received my order but it was blank.

...I was surprised that they didn't try to contact me in any way -- if I had waited for hours for food that never came, I would've been pretty pissed! But then they said that they did have my food -- for carry out. What? Apparently they did fill my order (I don't understand how, if my order was blank) but they didn't deliver that late. I told them that I had placed the order at 1AM, but they said that they stopped delivering at 12AM. I checked the website again and it CLEARLY says "delivery until 2AM on Fridays." I asked them about it again, but after I bugged her a couple of times, the woman on the phone said that their delivery man had left at midnight.

DO NOT try to order delivery from here past midnight. Apparently even though they advertise delivery until 2AM, they stop whenever their delivery man leaves. Also, they won't contact you if there's something wrong with your order.

My local go to spot! I am a big fan of Thai so I instantly make this my local eatery.

I live a block away and it serves good cheap Thai food. I often walk down the hill with the intention of going t Calafood for groceries and abort and head here instead.

They have some pretty good deals on the specials board, though it is already pretty cheap. The staff are very friendly and the place is clean and quiet.

I've been here twice in the past and recall them being very generous with duck! If you order a duck fried rice or duck pad sew ew... you can expect 40% of your dish to be meat!  I prefer more of a 30% ratio =)  I like my carbs.

However, my 3rd visit was for a take-out order and it was disappointing.  I ordered a pad sew beef the other night and when I got home, I saw yellow-ish, grayish-green veggies throughout the whole dish.. clear indicator that the veggies were old and should not be eaten.  I didn't appreciate that.  The ugly and abnormal color was too obvious to be ignored so maybe the chef figured he could pull a fast one on a take-out order.  Overall.. the pad sew ew was bland and I didn't eat much.

Food is (usually) decent, location is cleaner and nicer than other small Thai spots, but just be sure to give your order a lil peek before running off.

My sister and I were leaving San Francisco after visiting our brother there for a few days. On our way out of the city, we wanted to grab a quick bite, but couldn't find a place that looked both promising and cheap.

After driving around the city for half an hour, we finally settled on Thai Thai Noodle.

Since Thai food can be unexpectedly expensive at some places, we were greatly relieved to find that the prices were quite affordable. We ordered the PAD THAI and the PAD KEE MOW.

The prices reflected the quality of the food well, I'd say; it wasn't spectacular, but it was still good. The portions were a good size; not humungo, but we didn't feel cheated. It was still a decent value for the money we spent. Since we were eating lunch at three in the afternoon, the place was pretty dead, but it was clean.

I can't say that I'm chomping at the bit to get back to SF so that I can go back to Thai Thai Noodle, but if I lived nearby, I'd probably find myself hitting it up when I needed a Thai food fix -- unless there's a better place nearby that I just don't know about because I'm an out-of-towner.

I've been trying to diet since vacation is over, but I've been craving for Fried chicken w/ fried rice Thai style. Luckily Thai Thai Noodle is a block away from my job so I can get some. I've been avoiding this place ever since its open because its not part of the diet system LMAO but I've been here 3 times already and found the place A-OK. I've seen a lot of residents from the neighborhood come here for lunch or dinner, which makes a plus for them. Any who, back to my to go meal~ I decided to treat myself and get the fried chicken. Just the taste of the crunch and batter on the chicken made my cravings go away with the fried rice. It wasn't bomb or anything like Crab fried rice but Mediocre. I only ate half of it though so I can let my daughter try it out. I'm sweet huh? hehehe

But ya the only thing I can complain about is that its slight greasy, and the restaurant itself doesn't look neat inside compared to the first time I ordered food here.

Did a search of nearby restaurants in the area on Yelp! that offered option to order online and delivered late night dinner.  I had green curry shrimp with eggplant and jasmine rice.  I asked for mild flavoring and the other entree - pad thai with shrimp was supposed to be spicy.  They got the spice levels mixed up on both orders.  Our orders were delivered in less than the time they said it would arrive.

I was surprised that they didn't auto add in delivery charge.  They didn't bring any condiments (soy sauce, chili powder, etc.) so the other order that was supposed to be spicy ended up being quite bland.  I think I would've enjoyed my meal more if it hadn't been on the spicy side.  If the restaurant would've gotten the spice levels correct and offered condiments I would've given it a 3.5 star rating.

This is your typical Thai restaurant.  They have pretty good fried rice, and bbq chicken.  This is the closest place to my work, and my coworker and I go here pretty often.  Their service isn't so great, but it's not bad.  They aren't busy enough to have 2 waiters/tress, so most of the time there's only one person working.  I really like their food.

This place is open until 2:30 am! That is probably the biggest plus. They stop delivering at midnight though. I called in to place an order of 4 dishes around 1:30 am and they somehow had it ready when we went to go pick it up around 1:38 am. I don't know what that says about how the food was prepared, but okay... very fast.

The food (from least favorite to most favorite):
Pad thai w/ chicken: weird looking and bland. My friend added soy sauce cause she wanted more flavor (I don't suggest doing that)
Fried rice: not much flavor either
Red curry w/ chicken: I asked for mild and it was mild, yet still had flavor, so that's good.
Pad see ew: this dish is actually decent. i guess it's hard to mess up when you have 3 main ingredients.

It's pretty much large portions of cheap not-the-best Thai food. If you are hungry and want food right away -- order from here! Or if it's late at night and you're slightly drunk and don't particularly care how good the quality of your food is, you should also visit this place.

Stopped in before touring a potential Nob Hill apartment.  Had my standby of red curry.

Delicious curry, great balance of chicken, and way more vegetables than I usually get in others' red curry.

Got the apartment, and super glad there's excellent Thai on my block!

hit or miss. I only went here the one time.

We had curry chicken and something else I forget now. All I remember was the curry dish wasn't very good. The other was probably the same or worse. Someone said they liked the Pumpkin Curry.

Hope people start mentioning to the restaurants that the really cheap food isn't saving them money, but I digress. This place could be much better for the price.

Since moving to San Fransisco, my greatest food discovery has been Thai. I'm completely obsessed and my newest discovery has been Thai Thai Noodle. Not only is their food delicious, they are open late and deliver late.

Definitely try the Drunken Noodles! They are incredible. The curries are also very good.

    Their prices are another plus!

This place was surprisingly good. I just popped on in with just intuition and wow. I had the shrimp egg roll appetizer and they were the bomb. I was kind of sad that I only ordered 2. I should have ordered more! They were smaller egg rolls that were a bit bigger than the shrimp and fried nice and golden brown. Sauce was the bomb. And I like that they drizzled the right amount on top. No dipping necessary!

As for the main dish, I went with one of the specials- Pad Thai with shrimps. That was the bomb too. Lots of flavor and good sized shrimps.
The portions are huge so you better come HUNGRY.

Underwhelming.  Kinda dumbed-down, even though the menu looked great.  With a lot of great thai places in the area, I'm disappointed.

Love this place, I go there a lot about 3 or 4 times a week because they're nearby; it's cheap and the quality/portion size are really good for the price. They are also very quick if you order and pickup.

Favorite dishes are drunken noodles (even if it's a bit oily) and red curry with chicken; they are both around $8.

In my experience finding decent Thai place is difficult although there are quite a bit of them, I find that most of them just do not take care to really give you good food.

I've been a Thai Thai Noodle several times, I find the price for the portions and quality pretty good, the service is generally fast and staff pleasant, the decor is alright.

I give it 3 stars because it generally stands out of all the other Thai restaurants I've tried and because it's a nice in-expensive decent place to stop by if you happen to run out of options in the city, this one delivers well on a consistent basis.

Boy am I glad that Thai Thai Noodle was open till 2:30am. After having a couple of drinks at Big Foot, I needed some friggin food! Thanks yelp for the "open now" filter in your android app!

First thing we noticed when we went in was a drunk girl passed out on the floor, HAHAHA!!! Somebody had a good night. Despite that, the service was prompt and the beef ball noodle soup with rice noodles was pretty good, so big I couldn't finish it, and very reasonably priced. Kind of odd that they basically had Vietnamese pho at a place called Thai Thai Noodle, but hey...it was good.

I definitely would go back to Thai Thai Noodle next time I want some late night pho...and hope to see another drunk girl passed out on the floor, getting wheeled home in her friend's wheelchair (who had a broken foot)!

I've only been here once. My friends' dishes were tasty, but mine, Moo Yang (bbq pork) over rice, was disgusting. I recognize that the low review may not seem fair for one bad dish, but I question any restaurant that would even consider putting what I had on a plate, let alone serving it to a paying customer.  I would estimate that 60-70% of the bbq pork was fat, and instead of being seasoned with fresh herbs and spices as described, it was drenched in oil. Luckily, I had sweet chili sauce that I could mix into the white rice and eat. Topped off my rice with dessert (fried banana w/coconut ice cream), which was yummy.

Another reason for more docked stars: between the four of us, we discovered (weren't even looking for it!) that we had been given 2 dirty plates and 3 dirty utensils. One soiled item, I can understand, but 5? They clearly aren't washing their items very thoroughly.

I love this place!  The food is great, service is efficient, and delivery is prompt.  Thai Thai Noodle has become my go to Thai when I'm lazy,   watching Harry Potter reruns on the Family Channel all day long and have no intentions to  leave my couch for food.  They always overestimate the time it'll take them to deliver which is great because then you aren't left wondering where is you food.  The quality of the food is great.  I have tried several dishes and curries and I liked and finished everything!
