My agent referred me to three different people and gave me a list of questions to ask each inspector.
After calling all three guys and asking them a series of questions, I called Doyle back because he appeared to sell himself the best!!!
He wasn't the cheapest and he wasn't the most expensive but he wanted me there for the entire inspection and he himself was able to provide the termite inspection too.
I was very happy with my choice! Doyle was awesome...he even detected that the neighbors had a leak and went next door to tell them about it.
Doyle appeared to be professional, patient and thorough. He provided me with an excellent report that evening that was very easy to understand. I will use this in the future to make my general repairs. -

My real estate agent recommended TexCode, as well. He told me that I'd like Scott, and I did.
My step-mom said that the inspection "will scare the pee-wad out of you," and it sure did. Scott was very thorough, poking, prodding and inspecting every nook and cranny. He climbed on the roof, climbed in the attic, walked the perimeter and found all the good, the bad and the ugly.
Although I took notes as we walked around, he sent me a very thorough email document with ALL the information and pictures, and even a few suggestions.
It was a terrifying experience, but the thorough job that TexCode did made it a little better.Listed in: House it goin' with you?

I can safely recommend TexCode and Doyle Williamson. I contracted with Doyle to inspect two different homes for myself and my wife. Our agent recommended TexCode and I'm glad she did.
#1 -TexCode's automatic email correspondence (confirmation, calendar options, details and payment) are efficient and easy to understand. Simply log on, read and sign the waiver, enter credit card info for billing, and email Doyle if you plan to attend. You wont be charged until post inspection.
#2 - On both occasions, Doyle arrived at the scheduled time and was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. Doyle stayed beyond the scheduled time to make sure my in-laws understood the complete scope of his report.
#3 - Doyle is beta-testing his new site (http://www.myhealthyho...), which will automatically send you updates on ways to protect your home. I have not yet signed up for the beta-testing, but I intend to when I get time.
#4 - Doyle cut me a break and gave me a 5% discount since I needed his service for the second inspection.
#5 - The TexCode report on the home was well-organized, very thorough, and very helpful.
Overall, I was very impressed and I was happy to do business with TexCode and Doyle Williamson. -

My real estate agent recommended Texcode and said Doyle was thorough. She was right. The 1951 house was in great condition but the report was still 10 pages long! He did a great job, went through the report point by point, answered all my questions, and recommended contractors for repairs. He is an energetic guy who is enthusiastic about his job. Having a home inspected is a nerve-wracking experience, but having someone do a good, thorough job of it makes writing that down payment check a little less scary.
