DFW International AirportHaving just done a mad run from Terminal C to D in 5 minutes (nothing like landing when your next flight is in final boarding), I'll attest that it's far better to be stuck at DFW for an hour or two than to sprint through it in heels through crowds that fail to understand the concept of someone shouting "On your left! Coming through with luggage! Please move!"
So assuming you're going to be enjoying Terminal B for a while, I recommend the Texas Stadium Skybox bar. Oh, the name's a bit much and I'm not normally much for sports bars. But they keep the game on low volume, and in general it's a low-lit bar with tall chairs, long tables, easy to reach power outlets (for the laptop) and a reasonable wireless net signal. I haven't tried the food, or any drink more complex than a beer or whiskey rocks, and we've always gotten along just fine.
Also, it's largely tchotchke free, which puts it head and shoulders above the Chili's.
