This is a chain?? Already reviewed this restaurant so let me keep this short..
They trick you with their honey whipped cinnamon butter and bread. You come in after you've fasted for who knows how long so you can devour a whole rack of bbq ribs.. only to be defeated by the large amounts of the cinnamon butter you consume before your food even arrives. Sigh.
Great early dinner special right now: $7.99 for an entree + 2 sides if you dine before 6pm (including ribs, 6oz sirloin, chicken fried steak)!!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Scott M.
I feel badly for taking a run at this place, because the people were very nice and that should count for something. And my nine year old said the ribs, which I passed over because they looked greasy, were "the best he's ever had"... And THAT should count for something. And it does. When you add that up, it counts for one star.
We were on the interstate and in need of some sit down nourishment, thus our foray into "Texas" Roadhouse. Sadly, the only thing about this buffet eatery that reminded me of Texas was the size of the patrons.
Mass produced carbohydrates by the chaffing dish for folks on a budget. That's my best summary. Sorry y'all. -

Roadhouse should never be rated higher than 3 stars. It's okay at best and can be down right disappointing. I'm from nyc and 4 stars mean something. Yes I admit it is good for the area but let's keep the ratings real.

Where else could you go to see line dancing, eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor, and eat under dead animals? Texas Roadhouse of course! Back in high school, this was a Friday night staple, right after the football games. My best friend and I would come here and he would order the same thing everytime. 6oz steak, baked potatos, vegetable of some sort, and a Coke. Eight years later and he still orders the same thing!
Now that I am older, I have difficulty eating there because there isn't much choice for vegetarians, but the ambiance makes up for having to eat their amazing rolls and cinnamon butter all evening. I get misty-eyed just thinking about Cotton Eyed Joe! -

Large menu with something for everyone. There is almost always a long wait on weekends.
