Her review (KH):
Our first visit to TdB was at this location. I think it's the only 2-story one in the metroplex so it's very spacious and beautiful. I didn't realize the salad bar was an extra 20-something dollars per person, if I had known I would've just skipped it (which I do all the time now). Don't get me wrong, the selection was great and also very fresh. They have pastas, breads, cheeses, salmon, even some sushi (cali rolls). But I prefer to skip all that and save my stomach for the delicious meats. I love the Brazilian sausages, bacon wrapped chicken, and house special. They also give you an endless supply of fried bananas, mashed potatoes, and some kind of cheese stuffed bread balls as sides. 5 stars
His review (JH):
Meat-loving or salad-loving, they have it all. I would make it a regular dinner spot, if I had that kind of money. Our waitress was super nice and offered informative wine selections. The meat is always fresh, tasty, and tender. TdB house special is my favorite. The salad buffet is one of the best I've been too. It's hard to think of ways to make it any better. 5 stars -

Next to a certain fondue restaurant, TdB is the other place where I'd happily eat myself into a food coma and even possibly death. We've been a bunch of times and it's not a really hard concept, so I'll just break it down for you in a few easy tips.
1. Make a reservation! And go hungry!
2. It's expensive. Go on a special occasion or sign up for their e-club and get coupons for discounts and/or free meals (birthdays). Unless you're wealthy and cost doesn't matter. But then, you're probably not even reading #2 anymore if that applies to you. Oh, and they do have a cheaper lunch/brunch option certain days, I believe.
3. They offer you sparking or bottled water when you sit down. You can ALWAYS ask for tap. Don't let them force you into a bottle of water if you don't want it.
4. Tea refills are free. Sodas are not.
5. All the steaks are medium rare. BUT! You can request a particular temperature when you sit down. As someone who prefers her meat well done, they've never had a problem making it that way. Picanha is the best. Followed by the garlic sirloin. And the parmesan crusted pork. Mmmm...
6. The salad bar is fantastic. Try the grilled provolone triangles and the vinaigrette dressing. Also to the side of the bar are some amazing Au Gratin potatoes. Try them. I'm not a seafood fan, but my partner in crime swears by the lobster bisque. There's also sushi, salmon, veggies, asparagus, black beans and rice, and other yummy things.
7. They bring you delicious cheesy rolls, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, and cinnamon sugar bananas. Try not to stuff yourself silly with them and the salad before before you get the meat.
8. There's a chimichurri sauce on the salad bar that is awesome on the meat. And if you like to dip steak in creamy horseradish, you can ask the waitress for some and she'll bring it from the back. (If you've never tried it, I recommend it. Think of it like Arby's horsey sauce on their roast beef, but on a much higher scale.)
9. Desserts aren't included in the price and they bring a tray around to try to convince you to get something. If you want something but are too stuffed, they will box it up for you. I highly recommend the creme brulee and the banana's foster pie. I think dessert prices run from $6.50-$8.
10. The bathrooms are upstairs. However, they do have an elevator, tucked near the bar.
11. Pace yourself. It's A LOT of all-you-can-eat food. Don't gorge and make yourself sick. (I'll spare you details, but it has been done.)
12. The full bar has tons of tasty options. Ask for a drink menu to see what they have. They also have a TON of wines.
13. While the "dress code" is business casual, we've seen plenty of people in shorts, athletic pants, etc. I'd recommend nice jeans if you want to be on the casual side and up from there, though.
14. Enjoy yourself and all the delicious food! -

First time to a TdB location. Must say, not bad for a chain.
I've done Brazilian charrischia before on both high and low ends and this place is decent. The salad bar has great selection but the meats were slow to come by and the filet mignon seemed to take forever to roll by.
Came in a large group and we were well taken care of. Service seems good and the food is surprisingly well put together. -

A buddy of mine and I had been planning to take a trip down to Fort Worth to try TdB for the longest time. I signed up for their rewards club, and luckily my birthday is coming up so they sent me a complimentary dinner (with the purchase of another regularly-priced meal) - which finally gave us a reason to head down.
Well we drove for the longest time and when we got there, we were definitely not disappointed. We knew about the amazing salad bar, but it was far beyond expectations. They offer various types of cheese, salads, vegetables, meat, and even sushi. I'm a huge fan of sushi, and theirs was on par with some of the best I've had.
Of course, the steak was really what we made the trip for, and let me tell you - it was nothing short of spectacular. There was clear consensus when we bit into it that the Picanha was the best steak they offered - possibly the best I've ever had. The other cuts were wonderfully juicy and flavorful as well, but there was something about their house specialty, the Picanha, that we couldn't get over.
Needless to say, we left stuffed and satiated. Thankfully my buddy's bday is coming up soon so we have an excuse to go... again. -

I thought steak was supposed to be good in Texas?? Sure sure, this is a all you can eat kinda place..but still...I've been to many Brazilian steak houses and they were all better than this. How disappointing.
Not a lot of interesting side items at the salad bar. The lobster bisque was way too creamy and overwhelming.
My overall impression of all the meat I tried: DRY.
The only thing that kept me happy was the banana dessert, that was delicious :) -

There are a million other 5-star reviews here and everything has already been said. Great food, great drink, and a great atmosphere make this place one of my favorites. If only it weren't so damn expensive I'd find myself going more.
Side note: Friday lunch special is only $25 and is totally worth it (if you can leave work for a couple hours.) -

Expensive, but well worth it. The salad bars and the meats are both awesome, and you can eat your fill. I've never been so full I actually dreaded the sight of more food until I ate here. The staff were friendly, and as long as I had my card flipped to green they kept the meats coming faster than I could eat them. Great idea for a special night out!

WOW!
I heard about Texas de Brazil from my co-workers and I always wanted to try it out when I am in Fort Worth, Texas. It definitely was worth every penny spent.
The salad bar was very good and their hot sides nice. The soup, lobster bisque was amazing. But we know the real reason why I was here was for the MEAT. I tried every meat they had from chicken, beef, pork and lamb and I must say I really enjoyed the beef and lamb the most. The Filet Mignon and the Filet Mignon wrapped in Bacon was excellent medium rare. The Slow-Roasted Leg of Lamb was also great. The Flank Steak was good too when medium rare. The Garlic-Marinated Picanha was flavorful for medium rare. The Pork Ribs was just ok since it wasn't meaty and there are other places I could go if I want ribs. The Brazilian Sausage was alright while the Herb-Marinated Pork Lion and Chicken Breast wrapped in Bacon were good although it wasn't anything special in my opinion.
What took first place was the Brazilian Picanha. The cut is the best I had. The way it looked with the fat around it made it look like a miniature version of Prime Rib. As a medium rare cut with the fat it felt like I was in heaven. Thinking about it right now makes me want some lol.
Luckily the closest Texas de Brazil to California is in Las Vegas, Nevada and for the price you would pay could mean that you can have an excellent buffet with seafood instead of just Brazilian Churrascaria.
The next time I go to Texas de Brazil, I will know what I will get and food coma from my very specific selection haha. -
Review from I. lee W.
Agana Heights, GU
I've dined at all 3 metroplex Texas de Brazil locations for dinner at least once (and the Dallas location numerous times).
So, according to various dining sites on the web, this place offered lunch for about $12-$13 if you only got their buffet area/"light lunch" and skipped the meat parade. Some friends and I went to try it out. Come to find out that a couple websites now show the price is actually closer to $15. Well, ok, fine. We navigate the nerve-wracking downtown Fort Worth Friday afternoon traffic in 100+ degree heat to get there, and when we arrive I ask the blond hostess, just to make sure: If we get the salad bar/buffet without the meat, it's a different price, correct? She informs us that the lunch without grilled meats now costs $20. At this point, I'd just as soon leave, but my friends don't want to go through the hassle of coming up with and travelling to another place to eat and would rather just pay the $20.
We have lunch, and inform our waitress before we begin (as well as a couple other employees during the meal) that we're only having the buffet. The paraphrenalia for signaling the meat servers is therefore removed from our table. The food, especially the soup, was good as always. When we finish, we get the check: $24 per person before tax. My friends don't want to make an issue of the $4 more, so we don't. But even though I keep quiet, I'm really annoyed. After being faked out by a series of bait-and-switches, I end up paying double the amount I'd originally expected to, for the same lunch. I'm left feeling disgruntled enough about it that I don't see myself returning. -

All of the Brazilian meat buffet places are the same. You've got your salad bar and they bring you the proteins. Texas de Brazil is no different, style-wise. However, the service is excellent, and you never have a moment where you're looking around the room for meat with your green disc on the table. Other Brazilian meat places will put the good service on at the beginning right after you sit down, then the servers somehow disappear while you're still hungry - not so at Texas de Brazil. They came around so often that my mouth was full most of the times I had to gesture "yes, yes more!" The gourmet salad bar is pretty good, too, featuring *fancy* items such as buffalo mozzarella, hearts of palm, and sauteed shrimp. It's all really very good food and it cost a lot less than I expected it would. We will be back for more!

Hyde Park, NY
A horrible experience.
My friend and I went on a Thursday night at around 9 pm.
We walked in to find a hostess who had no idea what tables were open, so she had to go walk into the dining room to check. Maybe she didn't know how her computer system worked.
We were seated at a table in the corner of the restaurant, in a high traffic area. The table was very drafty and cold. Our server was okay, though he served us iced tea that was totally watered down, and tasted nothing like tea.
I left the table to get up, and they touched and folded my obviously dirty napkin. Is it too much to ask for a fresh napkin for my second course? I also was unable to get a new fork for the second course, and was advised to keep the one I had already used.
The meat served was horribly salty and dry. Seriously overcooked for a medium-rare quality.
The salad bar was particularly bland and under-salted. The selection was repetitive and looked as though all things had been dumped straight out of a jar from the grocery store.
I tried to speak with the manager about how unhappy we were, but he was very soft-spoken and slow to act. All he did to put things right was
offer us a 15 percent off coupon, as if we would come back!
Overall, a definite no-go for anyone looking for a good atmosphere, tasty food, and knowledgeable servers. Seriously disappointed. -
Review from Anye M.
We went for brunch on Sunday, where rumor has it they actually had eggs, sausage, bacon...but who cares because I do not go to Texas de Brazil for such mundane fare.
Our server, Jocelyn, was great. We visited the salad bar but knew we didn't want to load up there. I couldn't resist the potato salad, I really like theirs a lot. The shrimp on the salad bar was perfectly cooked, though could have used a little more flavor in the seasoning. I love sampling the cheese as well.
But really, we're here for the meat. I know from experience that at TdB I like the beef dishes the best, so I didn't bother with any of the chicken or most of the pork. I had picanha, fraldinha, garlic sirloin, a pork rib, and leg of lamb. I wish I knew before I ate the lamb that they do, indeed, have mint jelly. I heard Jocelyn offer it to someone at the next table - but by then I'd already eaten it. That's the way to eat leg of lamb. The meats I had were all good. The picanha here does melt in your mouth, and the fraldinha has superb flavor (though can be a little chewy if you get a more well done piece). Overall I love the way they season the meat, it comes out so flavorful.
I also always enjoy the sauteed bananas and the cheesy bread -- the bananas and barely touched mashed potatoes were refilled several times, but never the cheesy bread :( Honestly, I wish they didn't refill the potatoes when they see you've only had a small amount. It is too wasteful. I did get a kick out of the waiter replacing the banana dish and then taking our plates... um, you just brought us more food, how are we supposed to eat it with no plate? But, we just ate them out of the dish. I think we need a separate red light/green light card for the side dishes as well to avoid waste.
Overall though it was a good meal with good service. The parking lot in the back is a bit confusing (though it's not owned by the restaurant) - it says no free parking anytime, but only lists prices for after 5pm, as if there would be an attendant there the rest of the time (there wasn't). So we weren't sure what to pay. I paid the Sunday after 5 rate and hoped my car would still be there, and luckily it was. -

Well I have been wanting to go here for quite a while. Had a coupon for signing up on their website like a year ago and talked the wife into going on a Sunday night. The place is in an old building downtown Fort Worth, which means free parking close on the weekends. Love that. I really could have just eaten the salad bar and for 20 something a person I might be doing that next time. But oh the meat, man I wish I would have fasted for about three days, I probably only held in there for about 20 minutes I figured I better go fast before I got full and that didn't help hit the wall and "no mas" Staff were very friendly no fuss over the coupon and I will definately go again.

Have eaten there and thought it was fine - just not my taste. But I stopped by to get a gift card and witnessed some very poor customer service. $8 to have a $100 gift card mailed to me was too much I thought so i walked in. The hostess actually tried to defend the charge and I told her to not bother - it is indefensible. One guest asked if she could leave a gift for the honoree of a huge upstairs party somewhere. The hostess was not only not helpful - but borderline rude. When another customer stepped in to assit, the host staff finally offered VERY minimal assistance. Really, t $45 per person, it seems there could be a little better attitude. Hope my gift recipients have a better experience.

Best part about visiting this place? It was free thanks to my boss, who took our group out on a reward dinner for doing well.
First off, the salad bar is fantastic, with a bunch of unique items. The Lobster Bisque was absolutely heavenly.
The main attraction of course were the various meats that the waiters would come by and give you. Save room for the finer meats! -

Had a fantastic experience here!
the food was amazing. Everything from the salad bar to the desert was top notch. Heavenly lobster bisque!
But the REAL winner here is obviously the meat. My favorite was the Pac-man shaped...but it was a close race with the filet mignon.
Our server was fantastic, the decor was gorgeous. Can't wait to return! -

Horrible experience had a reservation and I waited over an hour to be seated while people who didn't have a reservation were seated before us. Than after we are seated we are escorted upstairs when the salad bar, main bar and TVs are downstairs, U don't think I will going back here again.

Disneyland for CARNIVORES.....what a wonderful wonderful restaurant! The salad bar requires the self control of a bridegroom the night before his wedding while partying with Jenna Jameson. The meats....ohhhh the meats, the delectable morsels from heaven. We LOVE the house especial.....a sirloin slow roasted with merely a sprinkle of sea salt and fresh cracked pepper.....but the secret is the rendered fat-cap that infuses the meat with "crack" ........yes I said it "CRACK" that is the only excuse as to why I would risk coronary failure for THEE most delicious scrap of meat you will ever eat!!
We LOVE the lamb-chops, we LOVE the Garlic Sirloin, we LOVE the Filet Mignon.......and we mourn the moment at which we have to turn the green medallion from green to red signaling our defeat to the Gauchos assaulting the patrons with their wonderful meats.
My favorite place in the entire world!!! I would LOVE to bring a bus-load of pretentious Vegens to this Carnivore Play Ground....as it would be sooo much fun to see which hackey sack playing, Volvo driving, Liberal leaning nerd would re-nounce the religion of Vegen for a chance at carnivore perfection.Listed in: Fore-Play, Carnivour Playgrounds

This place is really good. While very similar to Fogo De Chao I think this place excels with the accessories to complement the numerous cuts of meat (I.e. Salad Bar, rice, beans, bisque, etc.).

Meat. MEAT. Seriously, be prepared for a meat coma, because you will find it hard not to sample most dishes that will cross your plate. And there are a lot.
The meal service is all you can eat. You place a card on your table either facing green or red. If green, servers will continually make their way to your table to see if you want to sample what they have. If red they won't. Every server has a different cut of meat. On my last visit I sampled Brazilian sausage, parmesan chicken, chicken wrapped with bacon, pork loin, pork ribs, 2 kinds of sirloin, and flank steak. The only thing i don't recall sampling is the lamb.
In addition to the meats, the meal comes with potatoes, grilled bananas, rolls (which are particularly wonderful, especially while still hot) and a salad bar. The salad bar is practically its own meal and includes various fine chesses, meats (prosciutto, salami, et. al.), breads, vegetables, dips, sushi (where did that come from??), and a wonderful lobster bisque. They will tell you that the lobster bisque is the "soup of the day." I have been going here for about 5 years and it has never NOT been the "soup of the day." Whatever, they could call it pie a-la-mode, it still tastes amazing. I have only had drinks here once but they were pretty good. The wine list is pretty extensive. The desserts I have had are worth the effort (I particularity loved the bananas foster cheesecake), but frankly if you have any room in your stomach after the meal then you probably did something wrong.
None of this is cheap. Price for the food alone was about $43.00 per person my last visit (deserts are not included). And the hostess staff always seems rather brusque. But if you are willing to expend the effort like I was you can certainly eat your way through that price. -

My husband and I went here last week for our anniversary, and we really liked it! We got a BOGO coupon for our anniversary dinner by signing up for their email club.
The salad bar was just amazing. We had been warned not to fill up on it, but it was really difficult because it was so good. The lobster bisque soup was very good, and we both loved the grilled veggies.
And the MEAT!!! Oh my! Our favorite was the leg of lamb. I think we had that gaucho come back 3 times! The filet mignon was also really good.
We learned that if you really want the freshest meat, ask for one of the "gaucho tables" which are right by the kitchen. The meat is still sizzling when they bring it out! -

I really want to give this a 5-star rating... except that my steaks at home are better. I mean... it came damned close... close, but no cigar.
What makes these steaks so great is the cut that they begin with. Quality meat from the beginning is difficult to mess up. The tenderloin was probably the best cut of beef that they had to offer... and they came back to my table just to bring a rarer slice... that was really nice of them.
Salad bar was decent, and I would add points for the creme brulee. -

I love Texas De Brazil and here's why...
PRICE: First of all, you have the liberty to enjoy more delicious food in one sitting than any other upscale, fine dining establishment would normally offer you for the same price ($50 for gourmet 40+ item salad bar, meats & sides). If you sign up for their e-club, you get a free dinner on your birthday (and anniversary) and other special offers like salad, meats & dessert for $30. I haven't found any other restaurant offering a better value.
FOOD:
For those of you concerned that this restaurant is all about quantity, let me describe the food. For me, it always starts with one Portuguese CHEESE BREAD. This fluffy roll of pastry bliss at it's best perplexes me - is it cheese or is it bread? The two ingredients blend together so well it's impossible to tell. Then, I get the LOBSTER BISQUE with a tangy hint of fabulous spices. The salad bar is packed with tasty dishes like TABOULEH, VEGGIE & ORZO PASTA, SMOKED SALMON, BUFFALO MOZZARELLA, GRILLED PROVOLONE, and MARINATED VEGGIES. This is by far the best salad bar I have ever seen.
Next, I select my favorite cuts of perfectly seasoned, tender, juicy meats. Highlights include the bacon-wrapped FILET MIGNON, GARLIC SIRLOIN (house special), FLANK STEAK & bacon-wrapped CHICKEN. (The sausage, rack of lamb, and leg of lamb are all good, but my strategy is to save room for the best of the best.) Note: Tell the server if you are waiting on a specific meat item. The Gouchos are great about carving the slice of meat cooked how you like it (Medium Rare vs. Med, etc).
I like to clean my palate with the insanely delicious FRIED BANANAS as well as the GARLIC MASHED POTATOES (scrumptious - not filler). I also love the SAUTEED MUSHROOMS from the hot buffet line.
Room for dessert? Most would say 'surely not'. However, after many visits with no dessert we finally tried it - and now it's a must. We've sampled the CHOCOLATE MOUSE CAKE, CARROT CAKE, Banana Foster Pie, and Key Lime Pie. I don't think it's possible to make the wrong dessert selection here, and you can get it to go.
Atmosphere & Service: Beautiful restaurant and amazing service. I love the downtown FW location. -

Fort Worth, TX
Way overrated and expensive. I admit I had high expectations from all the reviews about this spectacular salad bar and meat etc. The small salad bar a featured cheeses, California rolls, pancetta, etc. besides the normal salad stuff. I actually thought there was a second, larger salad bar. The lobster bisque sounded good, but it tasted way too creamy and salty. In fact, everything was way over-salted, especially the meat. I felt like they were trying to load you up salt so you can drink more and eat bread. The meat was generally pretty mediocre and tough, except for the braised short-ribs. Don't believe me? Get the filet - medium rare and still a chore to cut with a steak knife. For the price, it's much better to go to a real steakhouse and order something that's actually higher quality - even if it's not all-you-can-eat. It's probably a novelty here in Texas, but in other parts of the country, this is a $30 meal, tops, that tastes much better. Hopefully I'll save someone from being ripped-off from this review.

Texas de Brazil is the place I go when I get cravings for red meat!! This last time I went was special for me- let me explain. I had just started a mainly vegetarian diet and I was going strong. By day four, I started craving red meat but I still showed discipline and did not buy any. I had planned on going home to see my family that weekend I started my new diet and I knew my family would go out to eat dinner. So my sister called me and told me she really wanted to go to Texas de Brazil for dinner when I came home. And the rest is history! With a beef craving, I could not resist TdB.
The salad bar at TdB is very delicious with a variety of items- cheeses, deli meats, fish, and other veggies. The main attraction however is where I spend most of my appetite. My favorite was the house special and I ate quite a bit of that. That night the filet mignon was not very good but overall I was pleased with the meats. I didn't have any pork or chicken because I wanted beef!
Whenever you go to TdB, make sure you have a large appetite and just eat til you can't eat anymore! -
Review from Christine C.
Fort Worth, TX
Salad bar is impressive; it was here that I first learned tuna is tastier raw than cooked. I was but a teenager during this initial discovery and I've only been two more times since- it's a costly place to frequent. Even if you try to weasel out of the most basic cost (drink) and order water, you will be asked "Mineral, sprinkling, or tap?" Basically "You sure you really want to look cheap tonight?" I personally have never witnessed anyone go to tap. Last time we ended up on sparkling and the previous time my friend wound up with mineral. I usually get my Republic of Tea, at five bucks a bottle.
Not that you're going to leave hungry! Yes, the rumor is true- it's all you can eat. Not every cut of meat is perfect (there were a couple that were really salty) but there'll be SOMETHING you like, brought to you in swarms of meat cutters.
Bananas to "cleanse the palette," garlic mashed potatoes brought as sides. Desert extra, but worth it. You're already in the hole anyways.
Note: Sign up on their e-mail list for BOGO coupons! -

Went their for lunch on Friday with a group of colleagues. The service was very good and waitress very attentive but service wasn't the problem nor the salad bar. I would say the salad bar and desert was probably the best part of the meal. The meat was all juicy and cooked just right but all the meat was much much too salty. If it wasn't so salty it would have been very good. Please fill my water glass to the brim...I need a lot of water with this meal. LoL

Review from Joseph W.
Euless, TX
I usually start out my reviews by rambling about how I moved here from Austin, where I had the best BBQ, or that I was raised where I grew up with the best Italian food, or something like that. Brazilian Steakhouses, however, were a completely new phenomenon when I moved to the D/FW area 2 years ago. That's why, regardless of what I say in the rest of this review, Texas De Brazil, as the first Brazilian Steakhouse that I experienced, will always have a special place in my heart.
I love Texas De Brazil, I really do. For a while, I considered it (especially the Fort Worth location) to be my mostest favoritist restaurant. I ate here often. I want to give it 5 stars so badly, but I think that things have gone a little downhill (mostly with the salad bar) lately.
I know what you're saying: "Who cares about the salad bar?" and, make no mistake, I go to Texas De Brazil, first and foremost, for the meat, especially the picanha. As always, their picanha is most excellent. My favorite "normal" cut of meat is flank steak, and I am a self-professed expert at cooking flank steak (come by one time, try my flank steak, and I'm sure you'll agree.) Somehow, however, Texas De Brazil manages to put my flank steak to shame, time and time again. Taking the bronze is their lamb (lamb chops AND leg of lamb.) Holy ****, I'm not sure I have ever tasted lamb chops so good. Their other stuff is fine. No, not just fine -- excellent, (Who doesn't like a great filet,) but, quite frankly, anyone can cook filet like they do. The other stuff: Brazillian sausage, pork ribs, parmesan pork and parmesan chicken, garlic sirloin, etc is very tasty, but filler.
Anyways, I got sidetracked. I was talking about how I thought that their salad bar has declined a bit. Maybe I'm just crazy, but they used to have huge strips of marinated roast peppers, and a much better selection. It seems like the Brazillian black beans are filled with more meat chunks than beans these days. I used to love their Sunday brunch, but they seem to have discontinued it (? it might have been a misunderstanding of mine since I thought that the BRUNCH would be going on on Father's day) despite still advertising that they have it. I was never a big fan of their lobster bisque. However, their sushi is decent, I love their shrimp salad, their bread is awesome, and their fresh mozzarella is to die for. Still, it seems like it used to be better.
Their desserts are amazing but pricy, like everything else. I love their Chocolate Mousse Cake, Bananas Foster Cheesecake, and Key Lime Pie. I've probably tried every one of their desserts, but those stand out.
If you like this place and go repeatedly (like me,) definitely sign up for their email club. They send out GOOD offers. This place can be really expensive, but the coupons they send out take a bit of the bite out of it. Wow, it's been only a bit over 24 hours, and I'm already suffering from TDB withdrawal and craving to go back. -

For the quality of service and the selection and quality of food, I was surprised that it was only $43 for all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ dinner. Kids 7-12 are half price and 6 and younger are free. If you go to Mercury's steakhouse down the street you'll get about 1/10th of the portion for the same price.
First, the service. Practically had our own personal wait staff that would disappear while we were eating and appear exactly when you needed water filled, napkins folded, clean plates, etc. When you flip the meat circle to green, they are not kidding, in the blink of an eye 15 men line up and circle around you, light on their feet with skewers of goodness. "Leg of lamb, lady?" ...sure ... "Bacon-wrapped filet, lady?" ...um, sure..."Boneless ribs, miss?" "Lamb chops, miss?" "Sausages, chicken, and sirloin, miss?" sure sure and SURE!
Now, the food. I would say stay away from the fillers like chicken and sirloin. It's good but nothing outstanding. My steak and lamb were great. Perfect sides of mashed potatoes and ...fried/baked bananas? The bananas were so good I forgot they were my least favorite food in the world and ate an entire one thinking it was a baked apple.
Oh, and no Dole's bagged salad mix here. I was like a fat kid at the salad bar with all the cured meats and fish, fresh cheese, veggies, etc. Lobster bisque not outstanding. Anyways, would go back. This place is like the epitome of gluttony in a classy setting. Got back to the hotel at 8pm and passed out from food coma for over 12 hours. -

This place is so much fun to go to! The food is wonderful too!
So you basically pay $50 for dinner which includes the salad/ side bar (oh so very good!), and all the different kind of meat. When you sit down, you get a card that has green on one side and red on the other. Usually, while your card is facing the red side up, you have your salad. Then when you are ready, you flip your card to green and different men with different types of meat comes by your table and serves you. If you don't like that type of meat, you can simply tell them no thank you, and the next guy will come.
We've been back a few times, including the Addison location. -

I recently celebrated my birthday at Texas de Brazil, I had never eaten there before, but I had at other Brazilian restaurants. We were greeted promptly by the server and immediately took to the amazing salad bar. The cuts of meat are to die for, towards the end of the meal we were greeted by the manager Alfonso, who took our entire dessert order and sang happy birthday to me in Portuguese, what an awesome birthday!

This is a meat lovers paradise. Nothing like great cuts of meat prepared in perfection. Their house special is to die for. Cooked medium rare, tender, juicy, and you get that garlicy crisp crust. YUM!!! They also have gourmet salad bar which is quite tempting so just an advice if you've never been here before, TAKE IT EASY! People get too excited with the salad bar that when its time to flip that card to green you're too full to eat their steaks. I also love their fried bananas this can pass for dessert for me but if you're able to eat in moderation and have room for desserts, do not miss that opportunity to try out some of their desserts.
HERE ARE A FEW TIPS:
-If you like certain kind of meats better than others it's ok to ask for two slices or more because they usually take a while to come back and if they are busy they usually run out before they get to you.
-If you prefer your steaks done well, well you probably won't enjoy this place as much. You can have it special order but they usually take longer and most of the time they don't even come.
- Try their chimichurri sauce with their steaks. You can find this at the salad bar, it's green looking sauce. -

Went here a couple years ago...and I'm STILL stuffed. Good lord, they practically feed you an entire cow. I'm sorry...are you confusing that with a complaint? Hell no! It's awesome! A meat-lovers paradise.
The meat was high quality. But the only reason I dock it a star is it was a little over cooked for me. I like to see a little pink...and I didn't here. But it was still good. And it's not just the meat they stuff you with. The "salad" buffet (as Paolo put it) is huge...very impressive selection.
I'm hoping they open one in the Bay Area soon - they seem to add 2 or 3 around the country every year. -

My favorite local place. Go for lunch during the week and save yourself an extra 20$. The only thing missing from lunch is the lamb, and unless you're hellbent on that, then enjoy your lunch!
I don't much care for the zerg rush when you turn your card over to green, but other than that it's a very relaxed dining experience. -

We used to go to a Brazilian-style restaurant where we used to live. After going to TdB, I really miss our old place.
Pros: The food tastes great. The manager came to our table and made us feel like valued customers during our meal. We used a birthday coupon and the waitress took off the wrong amount, so we pointed it out to her and she had the manager fix it and then he came over and gave us another 15% off coupon to use next time - mgmt values their customers.
Cons: The salad bar was lacking in variety and abundance. Our waitress was kept trying to upsell us on everything and we had to ask for our check at the end of the meal (our napkins laid on our plates wasn't a big enough hint). We were seated in a remote room all by ourselves and the 'drink filler man' stood on the opposite side of the room staring at us and then came to fill up our drinks at almost every sip - it was very uncomfortable.
But the worst of it all was that it was literally twice as much as the Brazilian-style place we used to go to. Our experience was far from worth $45pp before drink, tax, and tip. Been here, done that, but I don't believe we will be back. -

My husband and I LOVE this place. It's just amazing food and service. Once we had not the greatest service...I actually emailed the restaurant and was called back by their manager who spent about 30mins. with me apologizing. I was very surprised by their concern...so we will continue to go back, again, again and again....
We always take out of town visitors here and get rave reviews! -

Wow, what can I say about this place? If you like meat, and lots of it, this place is for you! I rarely give 5 star reviews unless a place hits all three categories straight on: Atmosphere/Decor, Food, Service.
Atmosphere/Decor - The decor is nice without overdoing it. Its relaxing, without being too relaxed. You wont see people wearing jorts or anything like that.
Food - Meat, meat, and more meat. Passadores come around and slice off different types of meat, ranging from chicken to steak, right off the skewer. They'll give you as much as you want. Aside from the meat, they have a rocking salad bar with different types of cold meats and cheeses, different pastas, and soups. If you have a healthy appetite, try it out!
Service - Service is a high point. Waiters are plentiful, and know when to come out. They never let your glass empty, or leave empty salad bar plates on the table. Exemplary service.
The next time I'm in this area, I'll be back. The price is on the higher side at around $45 or so, but definitely worth it. I'm sure I'll be having meat sweats for the next day or so! -

Nice Brazilian churrascaria in the middle of Ft. Worth...the meat is really delicious and the choice is vast, plus the "salad" buffet has a good selection of cheeses, hams, salads and vegetables, raw or marinated. Service has always been very good. Prices should be a lot more affordable... but man, I am always happy when I get out of there!
Bottom line....you wanna get stuffed with awesome meat? go for it!
