I looked into the Masters of Accountancy program and filled out their form to show interest. Then I spoke to 2 unprofessional people, one of them I'm convinced might be a convict or maybe current inmate. He couldn't answer any questions about the program and then kept saying "i'll release you with (so and so)..." "i'm gonna release you to" .... while trying to figure out how to transfer the line to another person. like dude, what's your obsession with that word. Oh did I mention that in the middle of the call there's a voice prompt that says it would be a recorded line (in the middle of the call not at the beginning) and before that something about a collect call. it was ...WEIRD. The tone - he wasn't so much asking any questions but making rude statements and then trying to threaten you for an answer. Let me again emphasize that it was weird and I almost hung up but hoped for the best that the next guy would be normal. Wrong. The next person was just as unprofessional. Just as rude, obnoxious, and weird. Couldn't answer any questions. Didn't know anything about the accounting program or accounting in general or had one iota of a clue about academics and kept saying that "it's up to admissions" and that he doesn't know how things work over on their side. ummm okay. The whole thing has completely turned me away from TAMCC.

From what I saw, Nice little campus. I came for a graduation of my favorite young lady. She graduated from the Great nursing program. She loved going to this school. Campus right in front of the gulf. Parking not so great. We had a wonderful experience with the Graduation Breakfast. It was sponsored by the nurses association. I saw that The workout center is great. I am sure there is more to the campus than what I saw but it was very cute. Thank you for the chance for me to get to see where you went to school Kaitlyn. It was an honor for me to see you walk across the stage.

The campus is truly beautiful!
My daughter loves going to school here and the beautiful landscaping and monuments definitely make it worth the trip.
So far I've only been able to try the subway and the Starbucks here. To tell you the truth, Starbucks is my favorite because its conveniently close by my daughter's classes, but mostly because of the friendly staff!
There's a sweet seating area near the Starbucks where there are plenty of tables and also the great Hector P. Garcia statue with a nice little water fountain. The area is always kept clean and it's great to just sit out there and enjoy your coffee or tea while you're trying to kill some time. The scenery is great! It's also quite peaceful if you'd like a place to read a book.
I have yet to see everything else they have on this campus, but I will surely make it a point to explore once I'm up to it.
Great campus!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jul 22, 2015
I just love this schools campus, makes me wish I could go back to college and pick this one by the Gulf of Mexico. My son attends college here. As a parent I appreciate the schools involvement in getting students to succeed. CASA is a program that offers free ( I like that word) tutoring in every subject. They make sure students are there to help them. You can also get your kid to sign a form that allows a parent access to discuss grades with teachers. Dorms on site, but if those are full offsite housing, a couple blocks away, is called Momentum. Great little college!

Current Graduate MBA student. Living outside of Corpus. Online courses only. Veteran. 100% tuition paid by GI BILL. Where do I even begin?
VA Office DOES NOT communicate with Business Office.
every 8 weeks; I get harassing emails, voicemails, texts, stating my tuition has not been paid and I will be assessed a late $50 late fee PLUS all my classes will be dropped.
Wakeup TAMU-CC, fix this issue; I have to call IN every time and speak to some young person
who doesn't understand or know what they're doing and BEG for a $50 refund. "THE VA pays my tuition"... broken record for the last SIX 8 week mini-semesters..
If its not one thing, its another. This mini-semester which started last week OCT 26, 2016, I purchased a NEW $300 textbook from the Online Campus Bookstore and paid to have it overnighted. I get a textbook with the CONNECT access code already scratched off, go figure, and of course I had my first quiz that very weekend. With no other options, I had to pay an additional $65 to the company directly to gain access to take my quiz. Heres the icing, so I wait until Monday morning to call the bookstore; spoke with the store manager(SANTOS) who didn't seem to care about my hardship (No empathy, No apologies for the mishap) without informing me..She transfers me to someone else (Enriquees) who processes a refund for my $65 dollar connect fee. Finally a step in the right direction, I then ask what about refunding me the price of selling me a used book at the new book price; She promised to research the price and call me back... but wait..you know what's coming... She NEVER calls me back. Surprised? Not at all; I call back a couple days later and she says "Sorry, I was going to call you but I just got busy doing other stuff".. What type of professional manager person says that to a customer? Clearly just a student or someone with zero life experience. Its not a big surprise to me that I am not a priority.. it's not their money.. if it was THEM waiting for a refund..they'd be all over it. The straw that broke the camel's back... IRONICALLY..later that same day.. a young man by the name of MATT calls to ask about how my TEXAS A&M Corpus Christi experience is going so far.. I talk his ear off for about 10 minutes...and all he replies is "Well I hope things get better for you".. haha talk about a pointless phonecall. None of these student/youthful employees have any type of "dealing with the public training" or empathy experience. I am done with TEXAS A&M- CC, applied for a different program, transferring my credits to a local university.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Sep 16, 2014
Nice little campus. Great nursing program. Fun marine biology courses. However, they should invest on having better labs and equipment for science courses. Campus right in front of the gulf. Parking not so great. Apartments are way over priced. Plus you have to buy the meal plan. You can get more for the same price off campus with a great bus service that's free for students. The dining area was small but they're renovating the area. Hopefully it'll have better choices. The workout center is great. Two stories, very spacious, four courts for basketball/volleyball/badminton gym. There's an outdoor pool available during certain seasons. Also a beautiful tennis court off campus. You can take the shuttle to or drive less than 5 minutes from campus to get there.

What a great little campus. My daughter has an interest in Marine Biology so me & the hubs did a walk about. Neat place with friendly staff & pleasant students.

Probably the best bang for the in the state of Texas if your going to get your MBA. The university is modern and the faculty are very well qualified. Corpus Christi is a good town to go to school in.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Apr 28, 2017Previous reviewI graduated in 95. The campus is beautiful and if a parent is looking for a very good school to send their kid to, A&M Corpus is the place. You can get you MBA , teaching certificate, study to be an RN and I hear they are opening up an engineering department? You can't beat A&M Corpus Christi. And the surrounding area, mainly Padre Island is where its at and only a fifteen minute drive.
