All 3 of the NY-NJ Port Authority's airports are pretty miserable.  They also  have their own generic excuses:

EWR: "Ladies and gentlemen, well we're all ready for push back, but there are wind delays so ATC won't let us take off."
JFK: "Ladies and gentlemen, we finally pushed back from the gate (90 minutes late), but all the flights to Europe are leaving now, so we are number 72 in line for takeoff.  We hope to have wheels up in 60 minutes."
LGA: "Ladies and gentlemen it's too foggy and the runway is scary short, so if we try to takeoff, you may die."

But this is what you get at TEB:
"Welcome aboard Mr. So-and-so.  What?  It only took you 15 mins to get here from Manhattan?  Let me close the door, get you some champagne, and tell the pilot we're ready to takeoff."
