Delicious food and decent beer selection! Can't go wrong with the crispy drunken chicken and garlic noodles! We crave this at least once a week!! I wish they would serve ice water rather than just refrigerated water bottles but that's not enough to lose a star :)

Travel to this area of Everett doesn't offer much other than Denny's so this was a nice find.  I sat in the lounge, which was cozy, clean and comfortable.

The drink menu consists of mostly vodka drinks which were a tad too sweet for my taste.  The drinks average $9 each for the specialty cocktails.  Even though these specialty drinks were not my cup of tea, they seemed creative enough.

Happy hour menu was very reasonable.  $3 and $5 plates.

I ordered the Duck (not happy hour).  It was very good.  Not the best I have had but not the worst by any means.  I will come back next time I am in town.

We were here yesterday. We like most of the dishes we ordered. The place reminds me of PF.Chang with its own character. Like the chicken lettuce wrap, garlic tossed noodle was YUM.
While others really like the crispy drunken chicken, we actually didn't care much of ours... They put 3x as much sauce they needed too, which made the chicken too sweet & not as crunchy.
The service is great, fast & friendly. The environment is energetic... Yes, it is loud... But it reminds you of any good Chinese Restaurants. If you go to Chinese style restaurants that is not loud, it maybe because it doesn't do well.
I will definitely go back if I'm up in north Everett, but I don't think I will go all the way up there just to eat there.

My friend took me out to lunch to this place, it is trendy, minimalist, and delicious.

I had the Crazy Drunken Chicken and the steamed jasmine rice as well as the house salad.  Everything tasted lovely.  My mouth still waters as I think about it.

Crazy Drunken Chicken- awesome name, awesome dish, light breaded and fried chicken breast in a organeish-redish sauce that reminds you of orange chicken but it is not orange chicken.  It's better.

Steamed Rice- Perfection, though you can't go wrong with a rice cooker.

The salad- sublime.  Fresh lettuce tasted as if they were handpicked, very light tangy dressing with fried yams for crunch.

My friend had the chicken coconut milk soup which looked amazing but I couldn't partake in as it had shrimp paste.

Would I go again?  Absolutely!  The waitstaff is professional and accommodating.  We went with my friends very well behaved 4 year old and she ordered the garlic noodles off the dinner menu for him and they made it for us for lunch.

The garlic noodles by the way divine!  Just enough garlic to make it addicting.

They have lunch specials and the chocolate panacotta is divine.  DIVINE.

Terracotta Red is easily the best restaurant in Everett. They go out of their way to provide full-flavor gluten free options, and the quality of the food rivals the finest of fine dining establishments. Prices are reasonable enough that two people can share a full meal (i.e. one appetizer, one salad, and one entree) with tea for about $40. All dishes are served family-style in the same tradition as Thai restaurants.

Overall, I was underwhelmed considering the reviews.  What we ordered, and the corresponding review follow.

    * Appetizer: pork & shrimp crepe -- This was easily my least favorite dish.  It's essentially a Vietnamese style crepe filled with bean sprouts, a couple small shrimp, and a few pieces of pork.  Being that I am not a fan of sprouts, and they were not mentioned at all in the menu description, I was borderline angry when the dish came.  I can't imagine ever recommending it, and I will never order it again.

(Note:  In all fairness, according to my Thai wife, this is very similar to a popular dish in Thailand that is served with mussels instead of our proteins.  Maybe I just don't get it, but I wanted to pass this note along to keep the review as balanced as possible.)

    * First entree: drunken chicken -- Fantastic dish.  Crispy stir fried chicken with a fantastic tangy spice to them, lightly sprinkled with sesame seeds.  Highly recommended, and I would definitely order again.

    * Second entree: emerald fire noodle -- I'm a little heartbroken with this dish because I feel it has great potential.  The unfortunate truth, however, is that the chefs over seasoned the dish, and it came out extraordinarily salty.  I don't typically drink much water with dinner, but I finished 3 glasses due to this dish.  The flavor profile, minus the added sodium, was great.  I'd probably order this one more time to see if I experienced a regular occurrence, or if perhaps the chefs made a mistake.  If executed a little better, this would be a standout plate of noodles, but as it is I couldn't recommend it without another visit.

Overall, I'd give the place 3 stars because of how great the drunken chicken was.  As we walked to our car after the meal, I commented to my wife how wide the gap was between the drunken chicken and the crepe appetizer.  I got the feeling that there are probably a few 5 star dishes like drunken chicken on the menu, but that we'd experience a few more heartaches like tonight in order to find them.

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling, unaware we were in for a wonderful treat. This was the best meal I've eaten since Berghoff's in Chicago. I had duck, and it was divine, with a hint of black licorice (fenel perhaps) and black pepper - the flavors were subtle and intricate and oh so perfect. The entire meal was fabulous as was the tea and banana bread pudding we had for dessert.

I hope to bring friends to share this gem of a restaurant when I am back in the area.

I don't dine out much in Everett, but I was able to find this little gem at lunch one day.  To tell you the truth, my opinions on "fusion" cuisine often lead me to  preemptively judge an eatery.  I feel that most of them try too hard to be "modern" or "elevated".  To me...food is food, if it tastes good, then I don't really care where you take your inspiration.

It seemed this place takes a little bit from each part of asian rather than trying to fuse different cuisines into one dish.  We had the lettuce wraps (thai?), scallion beef (Chinese?), and the buon (Vietnamese).  They were all pretty flavorful, as was their salad (which had really yummy fried yams in place of croutons)...though I found it a little oilier than I was used to.

Overall the food was good, but the ambiance was just too loud. You'd have to yell to get conversations flowing...

I had the drunken chicken, which was fantastic. My only 'real' issue with this establishment is that the entree came alone. The chicken was just that, chicken. No rice, noodles, or anything. The descriptions in the menu were a little vague, only describing the flavoring used, rather than a description of the item. Our waitress was able to describe items, but it felt silly to ask her to explain 5 or 6 things so we could make a decision.  The pricing was a bit steep for what we got, in my opinion. $45 for one entree, one beer, one diet coke, and two desserts.

In the end, we loved the food, but it may be awhile before we return. I like my meals to be a little more than just meat.

I LOVE Terracotta Red. The chef used to work at Wild Ginger in Seattle.
The Mongolian beef  is great, the calamari appetizer fantastic, and the Panaang Curry to die for. The food is dependably good and I think it is the best restaurant in Snohomish County.

This place is definitely good. It's a little dead during the day, I'm guessing it's more of a dinner/weekend type of place.
I had a great dish that was basically Mongolian Beef but with a little extra goodness to the sauce. The best part was that it wasn't outrageously expensive but did give a lot of food. I had leftovers which I RARELY do.

The service was nice but not anything to write home about. It's not super kid friendly but it can work. Truly this is one of the only nice fancy restaurants in North Everett. Let's be honest. So if you're looking for a fancy place in North Everett just go here. It's worth it and won't let you down.

Summary You Want Right Away: Yes, I'd go back.  Dinner was tasty, service was great, portions good for the price.  Best sign? The staff digging into their own dinner at the end of the night at one of the tables like the rest of us. Pretty impressive for Everett.

Long Description If You Care To Read: We went at 6PM on a Friday night for a girls dinner.  It was busy and tables were turning over all around us. With reservations made, we didn't have to wait at all, and as busy as it was I'm glad we did.  Our waitress was enthusiastic and friendly making good suggestions for our meal and drinks. It is upbeat and just a tad loud, but blame that on the great open layout and tall ceilings.

The food was pretty good and might have been GREAT had I been hungrier.  That being said, I was laying in bed at midnight still feeling stuffed.  We had the pot stickers and short ribs for starters and while tasty, neither were anything special.  However, the greens under the short ribs were dressed with a sauce that I ended up using a spoon to finish.  My mouth just watered thinking about it.

Suggested by the waitress was the top sirloin - the potatoes were awesome, the sirloin tender, but would have liked a bit more sauce.  Although it was a tad overcooked (nothing to complain about really) the Kung Pao was great, perfectly crispy and just the right amount of sauce.  The disappointment was the Shanghai noodles - not spicy as described, came with a whole three shrimp and no duck as far as any of could see.  Luckily the actual noodles themselves were great in spite of the lackluster preparation.

We got the donuts too but I'd order something else next time. Again, nothing really special.

Bottom Line: I know I said "nothing special" at least twice but that doesn't equal "not worth it".  It's a great place for a date, for a girls night out, for a good dinner in Everett.  I'd still recommend it, and I'd definitely go again.

Absolutely loved it!!!! We went last night Wednesday, our waitress super sweet and on top of things! We had thought of going and I got a http://Restaurant.com gift certificate so we thought we would give it a try! We will definitely be back! Love the Ginger Tea and the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Hubby had the drunken chicken with a side of Jasmine Rice. Oh and the deep fried ice cream....YUMMY!!! :) It does seem kind of loud but you don't have to worry about listening to your conversation, and if you are on a date you have to snuggle closer! :) We will definitely be back! :)

My husband & I normally frequent Bucks across the street but have eyed Terracotta Red several times. My initial thoughts of the name "Terracotta Red" were Itialian but the restaurant declares it's Asian persuasion and that threw me for a bit of a loop. As silly as it may sound that had an influence with our hesitation to try the place earlier. This time we looked them up on Yelp and the reviews convinced us to give them a try. Our time nor taste buds were wasted on the experience.

    We started with the lettuce wrapped chicken. In a word, Yummy! A light, refreshing start to our dining experience. I ordered the Sirloin Steak entree' and Dave ordered the Scallops. Not only were they "delicioso", the dishes were appealing to the eye. We topped the evening off by sharing the deep fried ice cream. Let's just say they know how to fry their ice cream. ;^}

Terracotta Red is of Asian persuasion, however American dishes are  incorporated into the menu. SO if you have someone in your party that is not excited with the idea of an oriental themed dining experience, that's OK. Because it's the perfect balance of both. And the decor is subtle.

As for the service, I don't know how it could have been better. We did not wait for anything and the waitress was courteous and conscientious. It does get a bit loud. The acoustics are great! The noise simply demonstrates the contentment and joy of the patrons.

We will definitely return to Terracotta Red.

I love this place.  Their food is just yummy.  The kind of place that you leave with a smile on your face and a satisfied belly.
Great food for good prices. I love that I can count on their food being really good without paying out the nose for it.

OH, almost forgot, the place does have it's draw-backs, it's not well insulated so it gets really loud and the wait-staff can be slow.  Once you get your order in, the food does get to you pretty fast, so, its worth waiting for.

Went here last night with friends. Nice environment with a modern casual vibe. As others have said, this place is LOUD - so look elsewhere if you're wanting a quiet dinner and intimate conversation - but for a fun dinner out with friends, it was great.  We all agreed that the food was good to very good, but whereas I was expecting us to be "wowed" by it (based on the reviews here and the chef's credentials), we were simply "pleased" to varying degrees.

I don't know if they were understaffed or what, but service was slow... we waited quite awhile before our orders were taken, and again (repeatedly) for empty dishes to leave the table. I thought busy-ness might have explained the friendly but seemingly stressed-out, hyper-speed waitstaff, but no cigar; when most patrons had left, they kept their odd, frenzied pace. Just watching them made us nervous...  and we had to practically  throw ourselves in front of our server as she buzzed the tower to ask for anything. I had this picture in my mind of some dictatorial manager watching the servers' every move on closed-circuit TV, waiting to push the shock button if they dared slow down. :) Jussst a little weird.

One should know (we didn't) that this is a place where you order large and small plates to share. We discovered the truth when our smiling server yet wore a confused, "who ARE you people?" look on her face when she realized we'd ordered with separate meals in mind.

All in all, an acceptable place to go for dinner, but we all agreed that we wouldn't go out of our way to do so.

Went at 7:30 on a Saturday night. The place was full, but we didn't have to wait. The specialty cocktails we had (the pomegranite martini and the ginger/lime one) were pretty good, but not amazing. long wait for the drinks. Very noisy. VERY. RIDICULOUSLY.

We had the calimari app, the basil beef, the scallops with pea vines and snap peas, and the garlic noodles. All of the dishes were quite tasty, but on the greasy side. My dining companion has eaten here a few times before, and he said it's normally not like that. Everything was otherwise quite tasty. some sand in the scallops, but that's to be expected. The garlic noodles are totally crave-worthy and I'd get them to go and build a meal around that.

I would not go on a busy night again because of he noise and the apparent carelessness of the kitchen, but overall quite tasty. It would not hurt to have an option to add stars to some dishes for some heat--not all of us Westerners are total newbies with weak palates.

Love love LOVE this restaurant. I've been here several times and also ordered take-out several times, and every time reinforces why it's so great.

I've tried the Mongolian Scallion Beef (my personal favorite), the Drunken Chicken, the garlic noodles, the Kung Pao Chicken. The Wokked Shanghai Noodles are amazing, with a savory black bean garlic sauce and bits of tender duck and a few prawns. There are a handful of lunch combos too, and going with co-workers who share is a must so you can try everything.

This place has been a delight and is one of the few Everett joints where I bring friends and family, rather than heading into Seattle for a good meal.

The decor is beautiful, the service is always friendly and prompt. My one suggestion would be to add some throw rugs on the floor around the tables - the wood floor is beautiful, but the acoustics are terrible and it can be difficult to have a quiet conversation at your table because of the din.

I don't know why people make a big deal of this place. Yes, it's clean and neatly designed, but at the cost of mediocre & plain food at a hefty price and average service (they have decent tea), I'd rather take my money elsewhere. Mexican workers fused with an American style design, Terracotta red lacks character and culture.

Terracotta Red is easily the tastiest restaurant in Everett! I took my mother here for a Friday night dinner and we both enjoyed everything we ordered.

    Pinot noir - 7
Prawn and crispy pork crepe - 10
    Sesame honey chicken - 13
    Curry red- 13
    Brown rice - 3
    Deep fried ice cream- 7

The honey chicken was absolutely delicious, especially paired with the curry red and rice. But the dish you really MUST ORDER is the deep fried ice cream with marionberry compote. It was absolutely amazing!!

I will recommend the resaurant to everyone I know. I've been looking for a culinary delight in Everett for a long time and I am happy to have found one that is 1.) not a chain 2.) uses fresh, local ingredients and 3.) takes pride in their restaurant. Terracotta is all of these things. Hurray!!

I decided to check this place out after reading the great Yelp reviews. Overall, this restaurant could have been 4 stars or more but was ruined by an over abundance of sweet sauce that ruined my entree.

Corn Egg Flower Soup: Excellent. Delicately flavored broth served with the perfect amount of white pepper to give it heat. The basil also added a nice contrasting flavor to the sweetness of the corn.

Drunken Chicken: The chicken was high quality and excellent but ruined by WAY TOO MUCH SAUCE. I literally had to use my white rice as blotting paper for my chicken so that I could actually eat it. I can see how this style appeals to palettes of those who don't eat Asian food but I was disappointed to see this type of food in such a well reviewed establishment.

I dunno how fusiony this place is, but they sure know how to cook. Everything about this place is nice, maybe shockingly so given it's on the grittier side of a downtown that has been pretty gritty for a long time. No mistake, though--with hockey and concerts downtown now, Everett is showing signs of life for real, and Terracotta Red is more great evidence of the fact that good food is following along.

About that niceness: it's a great urban setting, pretty brick building, airy and spacious lobby, high-ceilinged and attractively decorated dining room. Nice bustling kitchen, big bright bar, everything's clean; you really feel like you're in good hands right from the moment you walk. Yeah, you're on the same block with a gas station and a motorcycle memorabilia shop, but give them a break: that's city real estate for ya. They've done all anyone can ask with their space, and there's plenty of parking for being just a few blocks from the arena.

Star of the show for sure though is the food. Overwhelming emphasis on farm fresh ingredients and scratch cooking. Not always easy to find in any culinary tradition, but virtually extinct in most neighborhoods' Americanized efforts at Chinese food. But pretty much everything that can be fresh and scratchmade here is fresh and scratchmade here. Fantastic chow mein, great curry, awesome prawns, amazing pot stickers, perfectly cooked samosa. Virtually anyone you know who likes any kind of asian cooking is going to find something they'll enjoy eating here.

Service was a little flustered, but cheerful and effective. We didn't venture into the bar selections, but they looked solid enough on paper. The desserts were delicious--mango tapioca, chinese doughnuts, deep-fried ice cream. Like the pot stickers and the samosas, the doughnuts came with really interesting housemade dipping sauces. Great, great meal.

First, the good: the food is solid; good taste, interesting prep, fair presentation, just right portion size. My chicken and my sweetie's beef were both a touch over-cooked, but not enough to deserve panning. The dessert was heavenly! We surely we go back just to have the "Chinese Doughnuts."

The mediocre: the ambiance is OK - they've made an effort with paint, art, layout. However, there is no music being played, which, among other things, allows for the cavernous ceilings to echo everyone's conversation. When we were there, there was a large party of women ( a party of large women? (oh, calm down, I'm a large woman, I can say such things) ) that were cackling away after one-too-many cocktails in celebration of something-or-other, and their voices were PIERCING!!

The "meh": we put our names in when we got there and they forgot about us. Luckily, the bartender followed up on that, and they gave us a free dessert. This is, of course, very forgivable, but they don't have a system for this--the hostess scribbled our name on a notebook in no particular order. I think if they can fix this system that will go a long way.

The staff is very nice, and hard-working. Too hard-working - they stomp around the place in order to move quickly and the effect is that I feel like I'm in a kindegarten class full of children running from place to place. I was literally distracted by this, and I think in an ideal world, the staff would move quickly but not always be a blur in the corner of the eye.

The upshot? I'd recommend going for lunch or dinner with a friend, not a date. I WILL be back, if only for those doughnuts!!

After another so-so meal, so I'm reducing them to 3 stars. Probably where I should have had them the first time, but I guess I was feeling generous.

The ambiance and decor is nice but after two meals I'm comfortable saying the food is just average. Terracotta Red is a nice place for Everett but isn't not on par with a top restaurant you might find in Seattle. It's possible I'm not ordering the right things and this is a place that I want to like but it just hasn't clicked for me. With better options so close by I probably won't be back here for a while.

I like to think im a patient patron having worked in several restaurants in the past, especially when the bartender is running table service as well...but the service here was just poor for me. Perhaps it was an off night but, the bartender tried to deny us happy hour because she didn't know the correct time, after we double checked the advertised time and the actual time we asked her again and she looked and then decided it was indeed happy hour time. I thought the was just ok and the server clearly didn't appreciate us there as happy hour patrons rather than full sit down dinner patrons. I was really excited by this place and was just miffed. We ended up leaving after only 1 round of drinks (and 3 apps) and went to Buck's across the street instead.

I REALLY wanted to like this place. Everett desperately needs more good restaurants. The atmosphere is nice- great decor, modern, stylish, urban. The service was decent too, and the drinks were pretty good. BUT, most important to me is the food, and I've struggled through three bad meals there now. I always give places a second chance, and because another friend wanted to go, I gave it a third, but ick. The food was just not good. I love most kinds of Asian food, but this "fusion" seems to be a fusion between some non-descript Asian food, and some really bad American teriyaki expectations.

My mind has been blown. This kind of restaurant IN EVERETT?  Seriously, I felt warped to Belltown in Seattle when I was inside.  And not only is it a really nice place - the FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!

My friend that lives in Marysville told me I'd love it and I was completely skeptical as living near the city (Seattle) has spoiled me.

I WILL BE BACK... and REGULARLY.

First time in and I had the ginger martini which was great.  Sesame honey chicken that I have dreamt about since.  Garlic noodles, o.m.g.  Chinese donuts, wowza!  I want the same meal over again and I know I need to try more items.

    See you soon Terracotta Red!

I have to say that good restaurants in Everett are always welcome, and Terracotta Red meets the requirements.

My wife and I tried Terracotta Red for the first time last Saturday.  The atmosphere is nice and the menu was robust without being confusing.  We tried the Samosas and Indian Corn Fritters to start, and then had Beef Chow Fun and Pepper Beef for mains.  Both were very good dishes.  The service was friendly and prompt without being overbearing.  I am sure we will return sometime soon.

I am not sure what I am saving that fifth star for, I feel I have to leave it for something I have yet to find, however, Terracotta Red could be that place.   It is so nice having such a fabulous restaurant in Everett.

When you first pull up to Terracotta Red and see the bright yellow building, you are primed for something different.   Upon entering you know you are in for a treat.  The bright red walls and open floor plan are a recipe for success and that is even before you see a menu!

The staff has genuine  perma grin smiles and are eager to visit and welcome you.  Every time I show up it is like a home coming of sorts, I feel welcome and I feel my business is appreciated.  I like that.

The menu is complete with lots of choices.  I have enjoyed their hot and sour soup, Thai Noodles, Kung Poa Chicken, Sweet Beef with Basil , and almost every appetizer on the menu.   The portions are large and Chef Jimmy is extremely conscience of the happiness of each guest.  If you are not happy, they are not happy and make it right.   Terracotta Red goes out of their way to  please.

It seems Jimmy and Allisa really enjoy the restaurant business and it shows in the food quality, presentation, employee attitudes, desire to please and genuine gratitude.  Many restaurants could learn about customer service from Terracotta Red.

Delicious, fresh flavors & a varied menu. High ceilings can make it a bit noisy.  Wait staff was super friendly. All 4 of us enjoyed our 4 different meals.

One of my foodie buddies raved about this place.  So we hit it together, even though it is out of the way for me.

When you walk in, it looks like a small hotel.  I'm not sure what used to be in the building, but the entryway gives off that feeling.

We sat down and haggled back and forth about what we wanted to share for dinner.  Pork belly and and calamari were the openers, followed by the shrimp dish and the basil beef.

The calamari was done quite well, with a dipping sauce that wasn't the standard aioli type.  The bowl had bits of onion and peppers in it to accompany the squid.  The pork belly was rich and also accompanied by some veggies (it did help cut the richness a bit).

Our basil beef was great, although it really didn't have long beans with the dish.  There were just normal green beans.  The shrimp was cooked perfectly but the sauce was a little sweet for my tastes and because we didn't finish all the food quickly, it became a little gloppy after a bit.

Staff was efficient and friendly, although if the restaurant was full, I think they'd be pushed to keep up.

I liked this place enough that I'll make it point to come back even if it is out of the way.

I am not easily impressed, but if I had to describe this place in one word it would be "Wow!"

We had the "Dylan Pork Belly Love" appetizer, the "Crispy Drunken Chicken", the "Tangerine Beef" and a side of garlic noodles. The service was great, the atmosphere nice and the food, well, let's just say it could easily be some of the best quality, and most flavorful, expertly prepared food I have ever had. It's that good.

The meats were exceptionally prepared. Lightly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside drowned in amazingly flavorful sauces.

Our food bill for the two of us was about $45 and we had plenty to take home.

This is my new favorite restaurant.

OK, so we didn't even eat there.

We waited 5+ minutes at the hostess stand w/ no one in sight. At 5:50 p.m. on a Friday night! Seriously. It was clearly busier than I thought it would be (good for them), but no one to greet us? For 5+ minutes?!

Then when someone showed up, there were already several people waiting in front of us & the hostess rudely told them it would be "at least 15 minutes or so"....

This I expect in Seattle. On a Saturday night. At 8 p.m. or later. Everett? This early? This rude?

We walked across the street to Buck's. Not a complete save, but decent.

I go to Terracotta Red at least once a month and it is by far one of my most favorite restaurants in the North End.  The food is fresh, local, tastes and looks amazing, the place is very nice, but not super fancy, and the staff front and back are great.  Chef Jimmy has worked at the Herb Farm and you can see his classical training in his depth of flavors and presentation.  His proteins are always PERFECTLY cooked, whether it's steak, chicken, or prawns they are always right on the money!  The sauces are made to order so you can have them adjust certain things to your taste.

    Favorite Dishes (no particular order):

Crispy Drunken Chicken:  Probably the most ordered dish at TR.

Emerald Fire Noodles:  Not nearly as spicy as the name implies.  I order with a couple extra stars.  This dish has a touch of ginger that's very nice

Kung Pao Chicken:  The texture and flavor is amazing! You gotta try this...

Tangerine Beef:  For those who like Orange Beef, this dish is for you.

Curry Red: I ask for the sauce to be thick.  Sometimes it comes out a little too soupy for my taste.

Crispy Walnut Prawns:  Very good and popular

Thai Rice Noodle:  Prawns, lime, peanuts, and mint in perfect harmony.

Chicken & Coconut Milk Soup:  I had this at lunch which was amazing.  Sweet, spicy and a nice touch of mint. Ordered it at dinner which is made to order and was a little disappointed when compared to the lunch version.  Still delicious...  the flavors just weren't as strong.

Terra Salad:  Fresh tender greens, awesome miso-ginger vinaigrette dressing and crispy yam chips!

    Other dishes I have tried:

Mongolian Scallion Beef:  They do a deep caramelization on this sauce which makes it have a smoky if not almost burnt flavor. This is done on purpose.  I would order it with a lighter sauce in the future.

Short Ribs:  Good flavor, just decided I don't like short ribs...

Grilled Kurobuta Pork Shoulder:  A light dish, nice use of fish sauce, but not the bold flavors I crave from the other dishes mentioned.

Wok Tossed Beef Medallions:  My friend ordered this.  I'm not a mushroom fan, but these were good.  Great sauce, tender beef.

Lunch is a great way to go since the portions are still great, includes your choice of soup or salad, and white/brown rice. All for about $10-12!
Happy Hour is also very fun since most of the appetisers are only $3!  It is worth going for the $5 calamari or baby ribs.  They're excellent.  Also try the Indonesian Corn Fritter!

Obviously I really like this place.  Food and service is always very good.  As other's have mentioned it can get loud when it's busy.  It's actually quieter in the bar if you can find a table open.  Enjoy and spread the word!
