3 reviews for Terrace Diner
As far as diners go, this one's pretty great. You can get breakfast all day long, naturally, and I usually do. If you're not feeling morning fare, the greek salad is done very well and feels at least somewhat healthy, and comes with stuffed grape leaves and little pita triangles. The mozzarella sticks are diner-iffic, and I particularly enjoy their lentil soup.
Open until 1 am on the weekends. I much prefer Terrace Diner to Jackson Hole down the street.
So far this is the best diner I've found in the neighborhood. Good breakfast, fast service, clean place. Not sure what else you'd ask for in a local breakfast spot.
(mind you it only gets four stars because its a diner...don't go expecting gourmet fare)
My boyfriend and I are regulars at this diner. We have breakfast here every weekend so I should know a lot about this place. FYI, this diner used to be the Napoleon Diner but they changed it last summer to The Terrace Diner.
They have the BEST breakfast menu. I am not exagerating either. For those of you who has been going to IHOP may want to start a new tradition because you're missing out. From 7-11 A.M., The Terrace Diner has a special breakfast menu listing. The options are numbered 1-9 (I think it's 9 or 8). I usually rotate between #4 (FRENCH TOAST or PANCAKES Ham, Bacon or Sausage Juice & Coffee or Tea $6.85) and #5 ( ONE EGG, Any Style, Potatoes, Toast Bacon, Ham or Sausage Juice & Coffee or Tea $4.95). It is the traditional breakfast that kicks IHOp's ass for a lot less. Feel free to ask for coffee refills- they are free. Juice also comes with it (as I said before) but it doesn't have free refills. You HAVE to come out here on a weekend morning. It's lovely.
They also have a great brunch menu and they have added more to their dinner menu. I particularly like the Early Bird Special (I know it's a senior thing but it's good).
