Ah, my final review of a Boston restaurant.... Here goes!  Teriyaki House is one of those places that you would actually find in New York City, service-wise and food-wise.  They seemed to be very concerned about speed which is the staple of the New York dining experience.  I was so glad to find them.

The overall atmosphere of TH is that of a take out/casual dining vibe.  Since TH is near Berklee School of Music, the patrons tend to be college age students, looking for an excellent deal.  I felt the prices were definitely student friendly.  Regarding their menu, it is split between Japanese and Chinese, but don't let that deter you from ordering because both are done equally well. Finally, this review is based upon ordering from the Japanese side of the menu.  The sushi is a-okay!

As an avid bubble tea fan that spans internationally, I think I owe it to Teriyaki House to review not only the food- but the bubble tea.

First off, the atmosphere is very trendy- great place to go with a small group of friends to relax and chat over some of the cheapest Asian food in Boston and of course, strawberry green-tea bubble tea. The floor space is small, and sometimes you may feel anxiety that you may not find an open table either inside or outside on their small patio area. But fear not- things clear up faster than you think.. just be patient! The service is absolutely horrid, but unless you're on New York time, you can wait patiently and not leave a great tip, which really actually benefits you and your wallet in the end.

The bubble tea is definitely not fresh in any sense, but it has an uncanny ability of being absolutely delicious. The boba is hit or miss- occasionally being overcooked and soggy, but sometimes they nail it perfectly. If you are a fruity person like me- you will love the strawberry green-tea, but I have friends that appreciate their other flavor alternatives.

As for the food, simple- everything you expect it to be, and ridiculously inexpensive. The menu has two sides- one side is Chinese Food and the other is Japanese Food. Stay away from the sushi, it may be cheap, but it might disappoint you. Also- don't overlook the option of having white meat teriyaki chicken, it usually is much more edible than the dark meat (slightly cheaper) option. But I am also a fan of the egg drop soup and wonton soup here... everything else is just like any other take-out asian place, but slightly fresher.

I eat here a lot because it's convenient, the food is decent, and it's really cheap. The service however, isn't stellar, you have to chase them down to get the check at the end which isn't all that cool. I find they are also usually late on their take-out estimates, I usually end up waiting around a while.

I would recommend the lo mein and the rice bowls. I'm a big lo mein fan and theirs is good, not too greasy and you can always tell it's freshly made which is nice. This is a good quick meal and I like that they offer outdoor seating although it's not a stellar view or anything. Indoors is tiny but very comfortable.

Awesome sushi. Good teriyaki bowls. The prices are okay...they could be better considering it's not exactly high end. I hate orange chicken but one time I went with my friend and tried a piece of hers and I've been hooked ever since. The service is okay...not great, just okay. The vibe is weird if your not a yuppie student type...but all in all it's a decent place.

TK House was my best friend especially during finals week. To a college student, it really is about price and location, and TK House has both it's proximity to my school's campus, and it's inexpensive meals to win us broke folk over. That is on top of the food of course.

TK House does not serve as much greasy food as other Asian fast food places, which is a plus. I'm actually not sure if this place should be categorized as fast food or not but that's the feeling I get from the place. I feel like there shouldn't be waiter service at all because there really isn't any service from the waiters! Some of them can be a bit unfriendly at times. I'd rather not waste money on tip when the servers are just bringing me food I could pick up at the counter.

Yes, service is minimal and on top of that, delivery is slowwww. Wait time is normally 45 mins to 1.5 hrs for delivery and it's pretty rare when you get your food at the lower end especially during dinnertime when you want it the most. However, delivery is free and by the time you get your food, you'll be so hungry and grateful that it even arrived. Order about an hour before you feel like eating!

Besides the non-greasiness, TK House is not bad if you need something inexpensive on the go (only if you go to pick it up of course). I usually order the udon noodles and rice bowls. I recommend the rice bowls-- you get a good amount and it's only around $5. They raised the prices 50 cents which sucks but it's still pretty cheap.

It's really a shame that the service is shoddy because otherwise, I would give it 4 stars. It's currently 3.5 stars in my book. However, the main reason I was always weary to order from here is because of the long delivery time. When the food is slightly above that of fast food, but still supposed to be fast food nonetheless, it should be FAST.

Consider ordering from Rice Bowl instead-- it's literally the same place (it's just right around the corner too) but faster, cheaper and friendlier.

Maybe we ordered the wrong thing (Chicken/Beef Teriyaki and Vegetable Tempura), but yuck.  And we paid $32.00 for it.  At least the bubble teas were ok.  I guess you can't really go wrong with bubble teas.  With all the lovely restaurant options in Boston, we won't be making another visit to the Teriyaki House.

I have never, ever, ever had fattier or greasier asian food... scratch that, food than I had tonight. This stuff was as gross as all could be. I ordered delivery through http://GrubHub.com, if I had ordered it in person I would have sent it back and walked away. I tossed the food out. Yuck. Gross. BARF! I wish I could give this negative stars!

If you go to Teriyaki House expecting to be wowed, you'll probably be disappointed.  If you go expecting solid food at excellent prices, the only way you'll be disappointed is if you're unreasonably picky.

I saw someone write that for the same prices, you could get better-quality sushi elsewhere.  This is true, but I'd caution that what you get at Teriyaki House isn't BAD sushi by any means, it's very very average.  If you want to get some sushi with a Chinese entree, you could do much worse than here.  You absolutely cannot go wrong with the General Tao's chicken.  It tends to be such a popular dish with people that it probably deserves mention; Teriyaki House's version is straightforward and delicious.  Have a bubble tea afterward.  You can't go wrong.

Some people have complained that the service is subpar, but I've never had a problem in the times I've been here.  So what if the staff doesn't smile and make small-talk with you?  And the food is indeed a little bit on the greasy side, but not anywhere close to the levels at which your average person would protest.  Sitting at the corner of Berklee and Northeastern, this is a restaurant that serves its market extremely well.  You get more than what you pay for here.

I have to say I wasn't expecting too much from this place based on its location.  My roommate really wanted sashimi and I wanted sushi but one to may Cafe Sushi experiences left me wanting to try a new place so we decided on this place based on its proximity to the number 1 bus.  We roll up around 8 on a Monday and, for the most part, this place is empty so we can quickly grab a seat outside.  The menus here are the actual takeout menus, but frankly who cares if your menu comes in a laminated shell or some book--all you really do is look at it, pick what you want, then give it back.  I settled on a Shrimp Tempura roll, crazy roll, and spicy & crunchy tuna roll.  The Tempura roll was surprisingly covered in some sweet Teriyaki sauce, which I have to say was a welcome change to the classic.  The crazy roll lacked the necessary amounts of spicy mayo and the shrimp tempura (it had salmon in it I think), but it wasn't half bad.  I think the real winner was the spicy and crunchy tuna roll which was packed with crunchy flakes.  The sashimi wasn't half bad either considering that it was uber cheap.

Also this place does a delicious Taro bubble tea--not particularly hard to come by, but always welcome.

Bottomline: Cheap date place when you are near the Pru and want to wander off the beaten path, but not so far as to actually discover a real hidden jewel.

Attention bargain eaters. Blue light special. Boylston Street. Fill your bellies for cheap and leave satisfied.

It's that simple. Teriyaki House has a big menu of Japanese and Chinese offerings at decent prices with great portions sizes. I'll have to support Christopher M's vote for the Teriyaki and Sushi combo specials. A big bowl of soup (or salad), plus some sushi and a heaping plate of rice and teriyaki. Good, tender chicken Teriyaki with the stickiest white rice your ever put in your mouth.

A pleasant surprise is their smoothies. Jasmine Green Tea is refreshing and inexpensive for a giant glass! I'd go back to sample other flavors any day...which is easy since it's about a block from the Hynes T stop.

For a casual lunch meeting, Teriyaki House was a great bet, with a decent amount of seating, clean bathrooms and a easy-to-navigate location. Just beware the influx of (many) students throughout the afternoon and the whir of the blender occasionally make it hard to maintain an audible conversation!

Now that my enthusiasm for their tupperware has worn off and after a few less-than-great meals, I should probably dock a star from them.

On separate occasions I've had their coconut chicken curry and their Korean spicy chicken delivered. Delivery is still fast, but the two dishes were nothing spectacular. In fact, I couldn't force myself to take another bite of the Korean spicy chicken, as it was in a pool of not very appetizing oil. Also, in a blind taste test, there is absolutely nothing in the dish that would categorize it as Korean. Fail. The coconut chicken curry was not coconutty at all and even tasted a little watered down. It's also worth noting that despite the little chili pepper next to the item on their menu, both dishes severely lacked in spice.

Despite the negative marks, I'll still order from here in the future, since their szechuan spicy tofu and their light and fluffy brown rice are still up to snuff.

Ideal for a work lunch or a casual dinner, this joint mixes Chinese and Japanese dishes. Due to its location and (cheap) price, the wait could be a bit long at times. For bargain hunters like me, I suggest the rice bowls because they are cheap (5.25 to 7 bucks?) and filling and tasty. The sushi is okay-- you're not gonna feel like you've die and gone to heaven but you ain't gonna die either. Their sushi combinations are a good deal too. Mostly, what sets them apart from other cheapie eateries is that the veggies in their dishes are always fresh and crunchy. For drinks, I don't think their bubble teas are that all that great and their smoothies are pretty yucky.

All right, all right.  Their service isn't the best.  And yes, every time I go into Teriyaki House, ordering ends up stressing me the f out.  Though when my yummy plate of sesame chicken with my bubble tea is ready, I don't care about a damn thing.  There food is the most filling, reasonably priced,  best "i don't want to go to the store or cook anything myself" Chinese food in Boston.

Plus, I'm always told my delivery is going to take 40 minutes, but it always ends up being less than that.  And I can order late which is an added bonus.

So just know when you go, you're not walking into the most amazing customer service in the world.  The food and price are what make it worth going back for.

I am freakishly obsessed with late night sushi.

Anyways, after a night of too many Sam's here I am in need of a little substance to help settle my tummy. What could be better than steamed shumai and shrimp tempura? That's just it, NOTHING!

The shumai was okay. I was expecting a roll when I order shrimp tempura but was unpleasantly surprised by plain flash fried shrimp. I suspect my double vision is to blame and I didn't read the menu correctly.

4 stars for staying open late, being a cheap alternative to Steve's (after reading the Yelp reviews I'm glad I didn't go there for fear of possible swine flu) and the scary Indian man who told me I was beautiful outside. I'm pretty sure we're in love now.

The T-House really gets a bad rap.  If you go into this restaurant with the wrong state of mind, you are not going to enjoy yourself.  Also, you have to have some no-how about it as well.

For instance, never order sushi from here.  The prices are similar to getting real sushi at a Japanese restaurant, and the taste is incredibly sub-par.  I might go as far as to tell you to stay away from anything Japanese on this menu.  It's the Chinese menu that starts to shine.

The Crab Ragoon is delicious and relatively inexpensive, and the Curry Chicken Bowl blows my mind.  Nothing on this menu is spicy, but the Curry Chicken bowl at least has some peppers in it.  In general, the rule of thumb is this: If it sounds like it won't taste great, it probably won't.  That being said, this is a great place to go at 1:30 in the morning, instead of Racist Little Steve's Racist Italian Eatery; Racism next door.

The next thing to keep in mind, is that this place, while it does have in-house seating available, is very much a take-out restaurant.  That being said, they keep you reasonably well taken care of.  Unlike certain reviews stated below mine, you pay AFTER ordering and eating, if you specify that it's "for here".

The place is usually crowded, it's first come first serve for seating, the people behind the counter usually have an attitude problem (I'm talking about you, small asian girl who gives me the stink eye every time I come in), and if you don't know what's good, you may end up with something...meh.  That being said, it's a great place to go for a quick bite of Chinese food, and once you get accustomed to what they are and aren't good at, it can net you some cheap, good food.

That is all.

I feel sorry for poor Berklee students. It's injustice that the richie BU students get better, cheaper food in Allston.

The fare at Teriyaki House resembles Super 88 yummies EXCEPT you get ALL the Super 88 food court offerings in one place. Chinese meeting Japanese food is *not* a good mix. You end up with a over-greasy, slightly gloppy version of your dish.

Please don't go! And if you do, I told you so!

I really enjoy chinese food delivered to my door. I am always on a quest to find my new favorite vegetable lo mein, and order it from as many chinese places as I can.

Teriyaki house always has fast delivery, decent prices, and yummy yummy vegetable lo mein.  I like that there are whole, steamed vegetables and a subtle tasty sauce. Beats the tiny squares of dehydrated carrot that are all I can usually find in other lo mein. They are my new favorite and go to for my chinese delivery for now.

Now for the criticism: The one time I branched out and did not order lo mein, I was dissappointed. I tried the garlic broccoli with lo mein on the side. The brocolli was smothered to wilty-ness in an oily sauce. It was edible, but I was wishing I hadn't tried something new. Lesson learned.

Still my go to chinese delivery.

I discovered this place early in the AM when I realized that I had no cash for Little Stevies.  Once inside, I realized that they had figured it out... when it's after last call, you're two sheets to the wind and all you want is a Teri Don... they're OPEN.  Beautiful.  And of course, in your challenged state, it's hard to say no to a scorpion roll, or even a nigiri combo.
So in that vein, it's dangerous, since you'll probably be pulling plastic like I was.  But I would walk through fire for a dependable Teri Don, and this place has them all day long and well into the night.

The food is not as tasty as classier Japanese restaurants... the sushi was OK, not fantastic, and I had the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl and it was just chicken teriyaki with a healthy shot of sriracha in it.  But that's fine, they never claimed it was anything else.  I miss the diced crunchy pickles, but at 2AM, eh, who cares!

The clientelle was split between folks waiting for take-out and folks sitting.  If you're sitting, don't go up to the counter, they'll just turn you away. Service was a little slow but at 2AM it was faster than the line at Stevie's.  All in all, an excellent find.

Beautiful.  Dangerous.  Just the way I like 'em.

Here's the interaction between me and the cashier:

Cashier: What do you want?
Me: I'd love a teriyaki bowl please, with chicken to go.
Cashier: Don't think about sitting at one of our tables, then. That's for sit-in only.
Me: hoooookay.....
Cashier: No response.... then, can you please move so the next person can order?
Me: Alright, no problem.

--Thirty seconds go by--

Me: Oh shoot, do you mind if I get brown rice instead of white rice? I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.
Cashier: No, they've already started making it. Too late.
Me: Really? Can you just check for me? It hasn't been long at all.
Cashier: UGHGHGHGHGH (seriously, that noise), then screaming in the kitchen.

She comes back with this look of complete disgust on her face, then proceeds to take out her cell phone and have a conversation with her boyfriend, while she continues to take orders and to act like everyone's being rude by disturbing her conversation.

15 minutes of waiting for a damn teriyaki bowl, and I finally get it with brown rice. The food is passable, but the service is abysmal.

Yes, at last a good cheap chinese/japanese restaurant!!  But, Alicia, what if I want chicken teriyaki AND a tuna roll?  No worries friend, there is a combo meal for that and several other fun options.  Have a craving for gyoza AND crab rangoons but have little cash?  This is your place!

Don't go here and get all butt-hurt if it's not five-star food - it's a one-star price you asshat.  Considering it's proximity to Berkeley (a college not well known for it's finance majors, let's say) I'm sure that most of the local complainers are just confused about the positive economics of this place.  It's solid three-star food for a one-star price = pretty darn good deal for a tuesday night.

If you want better food, stop being so damn cheap - how about that?

I used to come here once in a while for boba tea when I was at Berklee, since my beloved Cassava left me high and dry, but only last night did I decide to try them for delivery. We ordered simple sushi (a Philadelphia and a crunchy spicy tuna), miso soup, and one of the tofu entrees (home style I think) with veggie lo-mein. I'm giving two stars alone for the fact that they included plastic ladles for our soup and plastic trays for our soy sauce. INGENIOUS. The sushi was OK, the miso as well, and the tofu dish was pretty good. Another two stars for DELIVERING boba tea (delicious, both the taro and the coconut) AND smoothies - YES!!! The service was never memorable when I was there in person, and the guy on the phone last night was efficient, but not particularly pleasant. Happy to find a replacement for the much-pricier Ma Soba I usually order from. Yay!

I have been there a few times and though the scallion pancakes are pretty good the service is AWFUL! both times my table had to wait an ridiculous amount of time for our order to be taken. Then the most recent time they completely forgot to bring out my dish and by the time you could get anyones attention the rest of the group was done eating. Also the chicken they use is pretty low quality, I have found strange chewy chunks in my chicken more then once.

I was really intimated from reading Yelp reviews when I called to order from Teriyaki House, so I accidentally gave them my full name when requesting takeout, which made the whole experience really pointlessly confusing.

Anywho, the food took a while to come. I don't recall how long, but I was definitely at that "If they don't get here in the next 5 minutes I'm going to write a nasty review" point when the delivery guy showed up. Pretty weird how the universe works that way. The food really shouldn't have taken so long since the apartment I was at is located really close to Teriyaki House. (You *may* be thinking, "Then why didn't you just walk there, Rachel S.?" Well my answer to you is that you're a jerk and that I was feeling lazy!)

The delivery guy was adorable and old and apologetic and the food was pretty damn good. Exceptionally great. 4 star worthy, in fact.

BUT I'm giving the House 2 stars because I've been in there multiple times for boba and the people who work there at the register are total assholes.

And a quick suggestion: Don't ever get hot boba tea, even if it's really really cold outside. Not just here, anywhere. What a terrible idea on my part!! Don't make the same mistake, Yelpers!

I've been here a few times.  When I went I usually order their overpriced sashimi.  The quality just isn't there to justify their price.  Friends have ordered the rice bowls, which are cheap and they have recommended them based on price and leaving full.

The main reason for the 1 star is the horrible service.  I haven't seen service like this anywhere.  Staff stand around chatting among themselves, waiters stand around not looking at their tables and you will most certainly have a request.  To get said wait-staff attention is a job in itself.  You try politely waiving your hand, you then move up to waving your hand for everyone to see but the waiter, then you have no choice but to either call out the waiter or just go up to the register and tell them what you need.

I can see how this would be popular if you are on a budget and don't care about service.

Step up the service Teriyaki!

This place is pretty decent when you don't order takeout.  Ya, of course its greasy, its American Chinese food, but the flavors they use are pretty decent.

I'm surprised by some of the bad reviews here, every time I go my service is quick and efficient.  Then again, I don't do things like make it unclear to them whether you are eating here or to go (which I've noticed a lot of bad reviews are stemming from that fact).  Honestly with the traffic they get, I would get a little annoyed too.  If you are eating there, you DO NOT order from the cashier.  Okay not clear when you enter the place, but that itself doesn't deserve a 2 star.

This place is hit or miss, but always tends to have GOOD sushi at GOOD prices. The rice bowls and other dishes tend to be overly greasy or seasoned a lot of the time. I've only eaten in at this place a couple of times and haven't had a bad experience.

The BEST: (a) Good sushi, although you can tell the rolls are sometimes rolled too quickly. It still tastes good and is always fresh. (b) EXCELLENT sashimi. This place doesn't skimp on the thickness of their sashimi.. at least the times I've been there. Great portions. (c) Rather inexpensive.. I ordered a drink, two rolls of sushi, and a seaweed salad for a total of $18.00 (including tax). Not too bad.

The WORST: (a) Very little seating.. don't expect to come here on a Friday or Saturday night with more than three people in your group. (b) The smoothies taste like they were made from canned frozen juice and blended with shredded ice.. not so great, especially for ~$4 each. (c) Most of the staff speaks very broken English (no surprise there). Both times I went here I had to repeat myself at least three times to order food.

Would I go here again? Yes. What would I recommend before going here again? Purchase the Japanese version of Rosetta Stone so I can place an order.

I'm a big fan of the Teriyaki House - they have a huge menu that covers Chinese and Japanese fare, reasonable prices, and the food is fresh and pretty darn tasty.  I also like that they're open until midnight Sunday through Thursday, and 2am on Friday and Saturday.

One side of the menu is typical Chinese food and rice bowls.  I haven't had much from this side of the menu, but the appetizers are good and cheap, and the rice bowls are HUGE.

The other side of the menu is Japanese and sushi.  It's reasonable priced for Boston sushi ($4-$7 for regular maki, $8-$12 for special maki, $2 per piece of nigiri or sashimi), the choices are pretty broad, and I've always found it to be quite fresh.  There are also plenty of combo platters.

They also have a selection of bubble tea (add $0.30 for tapioca), but I think the servings are way too small and overfilled with ice, especially for the $3-$4 price tag.

Here are my favorites & best buys:

The alligator roll is awesome - well worth the $12.

The sashimi has always been fresh, so don't hesitate to order it.

For value, get one of the Teriyaki & Sushi Platters.  You get a huge chicken or beef teriyaki over rice, one of several sushi choices and miso soup or salad for $10-$14 (depending on the sushi and meat choice).

I must have ordered the wrong thing because I saw great looking food when I walked into the place but I got meh. There were bowls of stir fry and I got a plate of blah shrimp, noodles, and under cooked veggies. I got the shrimp teriyaki soba, an order of spring rolls, and an almont milk bubble tea. I got the spring rolls first and they were pretty good. Good size, cheap, fresh taste but they were oily. however they did not taste very oily, just proof on my hands. The dripping sauce was basic and poorly presented (see pic). The then got the almond milk which was really good. The flavor was almondy (is that a word?) and there was a decent amount of bubbles. Lastly the entree came, which was okay at first glance... good amount of strimp, okay selection of veggies, the soba noodles were cooked well, etc. Well the flavor was BORING! I had to add soy sauce and even then the meal was blah. I requested chili sauce which added some kick to it. I think the worst was that the veggies were really undercooked. Broc, carrots, and snow peas were still quite raw, too much of a crunch for a stir fry.
Overall the service was good. I had a nice waiter who explained what the different items on the menu were. He was also quick with getting me water in the begining and got the requested chili sauce quickly.
The place was really busy when I got there, inside and out, so I must be missing the appeal of this place. There were a lot of people ordering sushi so maybe that is whats good here?

Small, delicious place !
I had teriyaki chicken something and crab something.
It was a lunch time so the price was like 5 dollars?Really cheap considering the amount of food.
Rice was good, chicken was gooooooood !
The crab thing which was fried shell with crab and cream cheese(maybe) inside was so good ! It sent me to somewhere.
Nice!

The service here is awful. The girls behind the counter were extremely rude and not at all accommodating. They wouldn't even change our order from "to go" to "for here" after they had decided for us that our food was "to go." After we ordered, they loudly complained the whole time we were waiting for our food.

One star because the food was okay. And another star for the outdoor seating.

More stars are currently pending. I wasn't exactly floored by their bubble tea, but I'm not sure this place is really known for that. So I will be back here for the food.

They use powder for their bubble tea, in fact it's clearly marked in plastic containers for all to see. Yuck, I knew there was something a little off. But the boba was actually quite decent. So I will come back, see if they have some real tea stored in the back for the true bubble tea drinkers.

And then I'll probably sit down and get some food. I saw their prices. They were beckoning me. And there were a bunch of people there happily munching on some foodz.

Until next time, Teriyaki House...

My favorite Chinese Place of all time.  Might be a bold statement, but it's true.  I almost always get the General Tso Chicken with Crab Ragoons so I can't speak for the entire menu, but the chicken is always fresh and delicious.  The Crab Ragoons are a lot bigger than most places and are twice as good.

If you enjoy General Tso Chicken and Crab Ragoons GO HERE.

Great, cheap food. Always delivered warm and very quickly.

Dine-in service blows... it's always slow and one person in a party ALWAYS, without fail, gets served their entree about 10 minutes after everyone. If anything, get it to go and eat somewhere outside on a nice day.

My favorite.

Not that it lives up to my Platonic ideal of perfect Chinese food.  But everything I've gotten there is just so good.  And their lunch specials are so cheap!  Veggie lo mein with REAL VEGETABLES!  Not just a ton of shredded cabbage, but multiple pieces of broccoli, and zucchini, and peapods, and, and...!  Whatever the dish, their vegetables have never let me down.  Not to mention that they have one of the shortest waits for work-lunch rush delivery.

Jesse and I went here post Red Sox game last night because the only thing I'd eaten for the bulk of yesterday was a sausage in the park that made me feel icky and I needed something solid.  We went here because they had a bathroom (Crazy Dough's got denied because their bathroom was "closed" as the gentleman working the counter put it) and also I had seen the menu and wanted to try it.  The atmosphere leaves a little bit to be desired, though it was cute and clean.

I ordered the Unagi Bowl, and then an order of Eel rolls as well.  Both items came out and were delicious.  The eels rolls were moist and flavorful, and the Unagi bowl was great; the eel had a great bbq flavor and was so tender it fell apart when moved around with my chopsticks.  The rice was nice and sticky, and it was served with a wad of ginger, lettuce, some sprouts, and cucumber.  It was just want I wanted.  All in all, including two bottles of water, it was $18, which is pretty great for the location.

I will be ordering from here much more I suspect, and just so everyone knows, they have a really cheap lunch special menu that is served until 3:30.  It ranges from $4-$6.50, and then rice bowls max out at $6.50, too.  Pretty sweet!

This place is terrible. The staff can't seem to keep up with the simplest of orders and when you eat in they are not only rude to you but they forget half of the order. Even worse is that often they expect you to pay before you even sit down, so when they royally screwed up my order I couldn't even refuse to pay. My boyfriend and I both ordered soup. He got soup, I got an attitude from the waiter after I asked him where mine was. He then disappeared only to come back with an appetizer we ordered (keep in mind he had already brought out our other food) without soup. I remember asking three times, each time more firmly, to no avail. Finally he brought it out and I was so upset that I just left it there. Apparently it had been sitting out because it was lukewarm at best anyway.
Avoid this place. It's a tiny shithole with disgusting sushi, lame food, and service that will make you cringe. You're better off with Wendy's.

I love this place, it's awesome. Very tastefully decorated and the food is cheap, fresh and tasty. They are kind of a more modern Chinese/Japanese restaurant and seat very few at once. But despite that, they appear to have gained in popularity, especially from within the Berklee College of Music community. But yeah like I was saying, their food is really good... I've had so many things there from egg rolls to crab rangoon and rice bowls and noodle bowls.. and even sushi and bubble tea.. Never had a bad dish and they are opened late too which is a plus.
If you are in a hurry I'd advise you call ahead and do a pickup since they can only seat about 15 people at once and getting a table is a privilege...

Great place, cheap, fun and reliable!
