I think I was too quick to judge this place initially.
Yes, they will put lunchmeat in your salad if you want them to, but they also have a bunch of chicken options that are whole pieces of meat that are tasty.
It's also fairly cheap, compared to a lot of the salad places around. Free croutons and onions and scallions add up.

In my reviewing of lunch spots in midtown east where I often get salad, very small things tend to… Read more »
I am pretty sure I was getting Punk'd by Ashton Doucher. It's really not possible to serve people the way I was served today and still stay open for business day after day.
1) They have no control over the lunch crowd and a poor station setup. The people that are about to pay $9 for a sandwich are standing in the same line with the people that are about to pay $12 for a salad. After you place order, you find your way in a crowd of people who are just as confused as you are because they placed their order but haven't gotten their food yet and are wondering whether it will really save time if they go and pay now or if they should wait and pay later because if they pay now they have to go back into the crowd of people and then their order might get messed up *fuck i am so hungry* wait which line am I in *shit* is that guy giving my salad to someone else? should I get a soda here and eat here or bring it up with me *is that my order? shit. no* I can save $1.50 if I bring it up to the office and drink office cooler water.
2) I saw a "Sirloin Burger" on the menu for $4.75. I ordered it. Somehow with a soda I ended up paying $9.50. I was too hungry to itemize each lettuce leaf so I just paid it and went to sit. I open up the soggy bun that came in a Kirkland/Costco frozen bag only to a find a fucking turkey in my burger. A turkey burger. Last time I got tricked into eating a fake burger, I went to a voodoo specialist in East Village and Zen Burger on Lex magically went out of business. I go back and they redid my burger.
3) I ordered the burger medium. When I bit into it, I think I heard the cow moo for a second. It literally looked like the griller guy just held the meat in his hand for 5 minutes and put it on the soggy bun
4) Fries. Can't mess that up, right? WRONG. FAIL. Underfuckingcooked.
I think it's time I pay a visit to my voodoo specialist again. This place doesn't deserve to stay open.
I was on the way to grab lunch at my favorite food cart when I decided to give this place a try, instead. I should've stuck with my first instinct. This is typical deli/pizza place in midtown. Everything is overpriced and not that good. There's something really wrong when two slices and a Snapple costs as much as an entire large cheese pizza at a lot of places. F*ck this! I'm not going back.
It's a good lunch place if you want options. They got everything- soup, custom salads, paninis, pizza, chicken, etc. but if I didn't work so close, I wouldn't be there nearly as often.
What's worth trying: chicken fingers YUM, pizza, salads.
Not so good: the paninis. still haven't had a good one.
This place is overpriced. It seems as if they almost come up with random pricing at times. It's located in my building so I end up going there all the time for the convenience but I feel I'm getting ripped off most of the time.
The pizza, however, is excellent and well priced, unless you get an extra topping and then the price goes way up.
