My dad and I stopped in here for lunch.
My dad had chicken tacos. He said that they "really hit the spot."

I had the Thai burrito, but with Mahi as the meat.  It took a while for them to cook the fish because the cook it fresh to order, but it was worth it! They put tons of fish in my burrito and the fish was really moist and good.  The burrito was pretty big. I ate half for lunch that day and saved half as leftovers for the next day.

It was a great burrito, both fresh and leftover!

The best burrito I have ever had.

Everything tastes fresh, the flavors taste very authentic and not Tex MEx or Mexican-American. They are HUGE and easily split between two people.

The guys behind the counter are all really laid back and chill and helpful.

I just took my vegan friend there and he also said it was the best burrito he'd ever had.

Choose between three kinds of salsa.

Great guacamole.

I think the menu is relatively extensive for such a tiny place but I never can see to get anything but the burrito. (We did try a cheese tamale last time and it had a kick but was delicious!)

This is a plastic baskets and paper type of joint so I don't expect much by way of service, but I do wish the tables were cleaned more regularly.

If you have a gap in your teeth you get a discount (I think it's 50 cents or something)!

Yum, yum and more yum.

This is a much better version of Chipotle, though I do appreciate Chipotle for its consistency.

I indulged (and I say indulged because the burritos are HUGE and calorie rich, I am sure) in a Thai burrito with chicken, and it was delicious. We also had chips and salsa verde, and the salsa was fresh and tasty. My husband had the slow cooked beef burrito, and he too enjoyed every bite.

The gentleman behind the counter was most helpful (and easy on the eyes) and suggested I taste the thai sauce before ordering....which was so thoughtful and much appreciated. I think he could tell the menu was stressing me out.

The only reason I didn't give Teo 5 stars is because it is a tad pricey - $25 for lunch for two (diet cokes, no alcohol). That's not outrageous, but I felt it was just a tad overpriced. It was one of the best lunches we had in Crested Butte, though, hands down.

What a great place for lunch!  Everything looked delicious on the menu.  I had the Teocalli Thai burrito; it was as good as it sounded on the menu.  Be sure to ask for extra meat, like steak, and roasted corn salsa in the burrito to make it even better.  My burrito was so good that a guy tried to steal it.  No joke.  I got it back though (nothing comes between a girl and a good steak burrito).  Other popular items are their fish tacos and fish burrito (when they actually have fish).  Crested Butte isn't exactly near an ocean, you know.

Quirky, small but always reliable, the Teocalli hits the spot. Open when many restaraunts shut down for the season, this is a friendly local hang-out where everything is customized for you at the counter while you watch. My husband gets tamales, and I usually get a burrito and some chips/guac. A little pricier than you'd find for the same Chipotle-Qdoba fare in the big city, but definitely less expensive than most CB dining spots.
