Air Quality of America installed our system when we purchased our home. AQA was subsequently absorbed by Tennessee Radon Services, which provided us with a letter offering us a service plan and indicating a 5-year warranty.

The service technician showed up an hour late for the service call to inspect our system. TRS offered to mail us a test kit for $150. The State of Tennessee provides a similar test for free through the Tennessee Radon Program.

After the appointment, we received a call to inform us that TRS "only offers the service contract within 6-months of the install date," despite the fact we'd received the offer in the mail over a year after installation. Additionally, we were told our system has a 5-year warranty; however, the company says we only have a 1-year warranty regardless of the information we received from two of its employees prior. To add to an already frustrating situation, Casey (the company's owner) was short, passive-aggressive, and condescending. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

Tennessee Radon Services installed a radon mitigation system for us that did not succeed in lowering our radon levels beyond their initial post-test. After their mitigation, our levels were still consistently around 6.0-7.0 and we were displeased with the poor quality of their work that did not fulfill the signed upon contract. (In the picture below, you can see how there was still exposed dirt, tons of posts that weren't wrapped, and areas that were ignored (including old plastic just left in a heap). When discussing our concerns, they continually made excuses, requested more money for it to be done to the standards outlined in the contract, and gave contradictory explanations. We posted our concerns in a review so others are warned, and they called and harassed us until we took it down. After that, we did not feel comfortable working with TN Radon Services anymore so we had other companies come out and quote a radon mitigation system that worked, and all of these 4 companies were appalled by the work TN Radon services did and said that they have had to fix many homes that had poor systems installed by TN Radon Services. Another company did the work correctly and lowered our radon levels to a safe level.

Our Estimator was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Answered all my questions. Jolene was helpful when at the last minute our lender decided we needed the mitigation done prior to closing. We did have to delay closing but you all worked as quick as you could to get us installed so that we could be re tested.
I didn't get to meet the installers unfortunately, but it appears they did a fantastic job. The third party testing company did not respond as quickly as you all did so I had to pay out of pocket for the retest. It was before the holiday so I understand. All in all I have nothing but good things to say about TN Radon.

After buying my first house, one of my major concerns was to mitigate the radon before moving in. Tennessee Radon Services was able to schedule the system installation quickly, and the actual installation took less time than anticipated. The price was fair, and their ongoing support and product warranties give me peace of mind about my basement's air quality.

We are in the process of selling our house and the buyers requested radon mitigation. I called two different companies including Tennessee Radon Services. The other company did not have any openings for a couple weeks, but Casey with Tennessee Radon Services was able to get to my house within a couple days. His scope of work and bid was exactly what I was expecting, so I did not bother with getting another bid.

The work was scheduled for 1.5 weeks later and he showed up as expected. Casey (the owner) did the work himself. He cleaned up after himself and the system looks very professionally done. An added benefit is that the crawl space portion of our unfinished basement has a brand new vapor barrier that really cleaned the place up.

I would highly recommend Tennessee Radon Services, and we already plan on using him to mitigate our radon at the house we are moving to next month.

This is a great company and service. I experienced a very professional staff who got the work done quickly. Would highly recommend them to anyone seeking Radon mitigation... And if you're in the TN (especially Franklin) area and are either unaware of the effects of Radon or have not had your home tested, I very much recommend you do some research and have your home tested ASAP!
