I can't tell you how many gifts I've gotten for my wife and my sisters from this place. You don't have to be a woman to love the art produced by this collective, but it does feel good to know that you are, in your own way, making a quiet political statement by supporting women, supporting local artists, and supporting the whole idea of a collective. And if you don't like the idea of politics, the art is always interesting, absolutely unique and varied. If you don't like one artist or one medium, there are a bunch of other artists working in a variety of different media to choose from. Their store on Abbot Kinney is always a great place to pop in as their selection changes all the time.

One of two stores, I love this place. It was started by ten female artists, and has grown to include a lot more. The paintings of trees by Melissa Moss, are what im currently visualizing on my walls. Go in take a look, it has a nice spot on abbott kinney, surrounded by pretty little stores and cafes. everything is pricey (think of it as a gallery rather than a store) and theres a pretty good chance youll end up being a looky loo, but hey, thats fun too.

This is a great co-op gallery filled with fine art and wonderful gifts from local women artists. This is a really cool shop to pop into . Especially for a women who love to support other women and if you have a love for art like I do.
