Excellent dim sum!! They serve dim sum every day until 3:00PM, so make sure you get there early! It does get pretty busy on Sundays at lunch time.
So far, I have liked every single thing I've ordered. They have the best Pan Fried Noodles!!!
They usually have specials and discounts. They also place coupons in the local newspaper. I've heard that these coupons are excellent deals.
The place is humongous, plenty of tables, and even a banquet room. They also have a to-go quick order area, in the front of the restaurant. I have never gone to that area, so I'm not quite sure what they serve there exactly. I like sitting down at a table and having a nice meal with friends and family, and enjoying the free pot of Jasmine tea they serve! =)
Good dim sum place with lots of selection. Just don't go on Sundays after church time or expect to wait up to an hour or so, it's that good!
They've also posted pretty good deals in coupons they post in the local paper, but I'm not sure which one it is exactly, my parents just come up with them and so we go.
They've got many many tables of many many sizes which accommodates groups of various sizes. The restaurant itself is pretty clean and inviting. They're also located in a nice center where they've got plenty of other places to go to afterwards for dessert and such!
Update:
The quality for dimsum has definitely gone down. My shrimp har gow was discolored and some of my dimsum dishes were cold.
Time to shop around for another place to eat.

This is a pretty good dim sum place worth visiting. The interior is clean and they serve all the traditional dim sum dishes you can ask for. From the har gow, siu mai, pork bun, beef intestines, chicken feet and sesame balls, this place kicks butt.
The place is pretty roomy without feeling like you're sweating. They have the A.C on which rocks! One thing that surprised me was that they had a Japanese soy sauce at a dim sum house. Dude, it's a Chinese restaurant, use the Chinese soy sauce!
Good place, worth the price.
I was here after my high school graduation for dinner, and it was pretty bad. Service was horrible, took them forever to take our order let alone serve us. It wasn't even busy -_- Not only that we ordered 7 courses and only received 3 within 2 hours?
Don't think I'll be coming back here
The dim sum here is nothing special and most of the dishes i get are a bit cold, they need to be hot! The prices are cheap though and variety is decent, but I'd rather have dim sum at NBC Seafood in Monterey Park and New Capital in Rowland Heights over this place.
I had lunch here today for the second time and I must say that this place is not that great (especially customer service wise). The food took kind of long (roughly 35 minutes) and we simply ordered one meet dish and one noodle dish...we didn't even eat during the lunch rush!!!
The one thing that turned me off with this place is that they charge for hot tea! Personally, I hate hot tea. I've been to many authentic Chinese restaurants and they don't charge for tea. According to my girlfriend (who always goes here), states that this place always puts a tea pot and tea cups on the dinner table for all guests. Regardless if the guests consume the tea or not, the restaurant will charge per person.
So with that said, "Meh, I've experienced better". - "Way better!"
Fantastic dim sum! I ove the BBQ pork ban bao and the ones with the Chinese sausages, the spare ribs, the honey buns filled with BBQ, har gow (shrimp filled dumplings), and the best was the shu mai (pork and shrimp filled dumplings). Yum yum! Luv the dim sum ladies. Good service, our tea pots and waters glasses were always filled. Clean restuarant, nicer than most Chinese ones. Roomy and plenty of tables. Good service, fair prices! No wait.
I came here on weekday for dim sum. No line to wait which is a plus especially because we were a party of 10. Great thing about dim sum is once you sit down the food just starts coming ... No wait to order.
If your new to dim sum, let me break it down for ya:
- they roll on by your table with food on the cart.
- most of the time they are only speaking catonese.
- don't be shy, be aggressive! Be be aggressive.
- stand up, pick up those lids and look at what is inside. Point to the ones you want to eat.
- even if it looks weird try it anyways, you might just enjoy it.
- if it looks like chicken feet or webbed duck feet, it is chicken feet and duck feet.
- lady will stamp the bill and your all set to eat.
The cool part about this place is one of ladies that rolls the cart speaks very little Thai, but enough for us to get by...and I think its sweet that everytime she sees our family she will start shouting the dishes in thai.
Dim sum is always such an adventure...I love it. Oh and don't forget to drink lots of tea cause the food could be a bit greasy...the tea will help.

So, I used to go to Ten Ten when it was on Norwalk blvd. which it is now called Happy House. But… Read more »
I've only been to Ten Ten for the dimsum lunch once, and I guess it could have gone better...
To sum it up, I had all the basic dimsum picks, the one with shrimp, the one with pork, the chicken feet blah blah... I guess I really didn't keep track of what I put in my mouth, nor what came out later that night. Yes my friends, I got food poisoning from Ten Ten Seafood Restaurant. It's such a shame too because I absolutely love dimsum. Ten Ten's was decent, nothing really special, but that food poisoning just pushed me over the edge. Never coming back here again =-( two stars..
This has been my family's go-to dim sum place for the last 5-6 years or so. We go so often (embarrassing) that everyone that works there recognize us, especially my mom. Mom goes there not only with us but with her co-workers. Well, we recently cut back on eating out (especially poor mom who eats cup o noodle daily for work lunch), but I felt that I owe this place a review!
As a Chinese dim sum lover, I have ate dim sum everywhere....Dragon Phoenix, Lucky House (before they closed), Prince Seafood, all the Chinatown LA spots, and even overseas in China and Hong Kong. When you are a ha kao connoisseur, it's tough to settle for just any shrimp dumpling!
I've had my share of gross and obviously not fresh dim sum OC places. Ten Ten is as authentic as OC gets without having to go to Chinatown.
Their beancurd wrapped roll is excellent; pork spareribs are yummy and fatty. I recommend almost everything they serve here, except their sweet thing that looks like sticky rice that is colored. I just don't like that at all; that just does NOT float my boat. Per some of my relatives, the chicken feet here are tasty too (if you like chicken feet).
They even give out these little tickets that you could save up and redeem for something. We usually don't save them....
Service is good and quick; the place looks clean. I always leave full and happy. Prices are reasonable!
One con is that if you come at lunch time, you may have a long wait.
YUMMMYYY!!
DIM SUM DIM SUM!! I LOVE THEIR DIM SUM! Service isn't great, but I don't blame them because they're super busy. But they have the best dim sum! I like going during the weekday because it's not as packed, and during lunch hours.
For dim sum, I usually get, shrimp with seaweed roll, machang, shrimp shumai, shrimp rice noodles, and egg custard tarts, and sweet hot tofu.
Besides dim sum, and on lunch specials, I love ordering the deep fried flounder because it's originally $18 but during lunch specials it's only $6-7. Also, the four season green bean is the best pair with the flounder.
A little secret to tell you, on weekdays, go after 9:30 pm. They have late night specials that are less than $10. It's only from 9-30 til 11:00!
& don't piss off the waiters or else they won't notice you. I woulda given them 5 stars, but service isn't the best. Atleast the food makes up for it!
I like this place because of their 20% off everything during lunch hours, definitely can't go wrong with discounts. Compared to other dim sum places I think the selection at Ten Ten is a bit small, not much that you can choose from like other places. The Chow Fun is pretty tasty here, I also like the fact that there's a different section to the restaurant where all they do is takeout and to-go orders.
As for the venue, it's pretty clean. I like the covers they have over their chairs which makes it look ten times more elegant.
As dim sum places go, it's not too bad - but they don't have a very large selection. The place gets crowded for lunch and they only have 2 to 3 carts roaming around during lunch hour.
Most of our lunch today was waiting for the carts to come back by, more than it was eating...
Decent prices, decent taste. It's one of the better dim sum in the area, but I've definitely had better.
The prices are good
service ok
dim-sum taste good
dim-sum selection could be better
I would recommend this place to my friends.
(imagine me acting really obnoxious (tough I know) and doing my best cliche played out Eric Cartman impersonation)
SNACKIE CAKES!
I used to think my co-worker from Hong Kong was such a quiet, timid woman. Yeah, until she took me to dim sum for the first time. She was like oh hell no honey I own this shit og style y'all better sit back before you get schooled son, shoooooooooooooot...
Okay maybe that's exaggerating juuuuuuuust a bit. But I do think it helps to come here with someone who talks the talk if you know what I mean. The servers will tell her when fresh food is almost ready, that way we get the good stuff. Some of the delights I've sampled include:
-shrimp har gao... mmm little doughy dumplings of joy, perfect with the house hot sauce.
-char siu bao... evil baked sweet doughy buns filled with bbq pork goodness.
-siu mai... a dim sum classic, nice and meaty.
-rice in lotus leaf... omg this is risotto like amazing. Eat some and listen to the angels weep.
-beef balls... why am I laughing right now? Oh, I'm immature.
-baked cream buns... still laughing. It's fun being childish, try it sometime.
-a whole bunch of other stuff I can't remember.
If you've never had dim sum you are really missing out. So fun and so cheap. I think we ordered like ten plates and it was about twenty bucks. Oh, and it looks like a giant wedding reception in here. Chair covers and everything. Fancy!
MEDIOCRE TAKEOUT CHINESE FOOD & A LOUD ATMOSPHERE
Dunno, every time I visit the place it is always crowded. Parking is a bit hairy, why? Food is slight better than the cheap Chinese take out that you can get anywhere. The service is forgettable. They just wanna roll you in and roll you out as quickly as possible. I could not even name one dish that is distinctively memorable.(Now how'z that for a Chinese restaurant?)
Anyhow, I recommend people to skip this please if you can. I'll eat at Panda if I have the choice....
Two words: custard buns. Creamy, sweet custard stuffed into doughy bread and topped with a crumbly, buttery shell.
It's a specialty here, so you won't find it at other dimsum restaurants. Aside from making delectable custard buns, Ten Ten also serves more typical items such as siu mai (pork dumplings), shrimp dumplings, radish cakes, and my personal favorite - cha siu pork-filled pastries. Damn, it's really hard to describe these snacks in English. Luckily, even if you don't speak Chinese, you won't have trouble ordering here - with people rolling carts around and showing you exactly what's in each container, all you need to know how to say is, "That one, please."
I can't say that the service is great - the ladies pushing the carts are somewhat rude - but I mean...that's part of the experience of eating at a Chinese restaurant, right? I'd say that Ten Ten is definitely one of the best places to get dimsum in the area.
My family and I have been coming here even before they moved to the 99 Ranch Market complex. Most of the time, we go here for dim sum. Our normal dim sum consists of: shumai, har gow, egg tarts, and sticky rice to name a few. We also order entrees along with dim sum; usually fried rice, pan fried noodles and lobster in black bean sauce. The food is good and we're always satisfied. I would recommend this place.
I think deep down inside me there resides a dim-sum snob. Growing up in asia-ville and eating dimsum in the likes of Monterey Park and San Gabriel have spoiled me.
However, now I live in Irvine where good dimsum is as nonexistent as individual housing and snow storms. It's definitely humbled me and taught me a lesson, and even though Ten ten isn't the best, and it's a 20 minute drive away I will HANDS DOWN come here on any given day than go to the places in Irvine. Not only is the dimsum there BETTER, like holy-act-of-God better, it's also so much cheaper.
Why pay 20 bucks to temper your hunger with crappy hau gau and shu mai and tsang fun when you can pay 10 bucks to GORGE yourself silly on food that's a lifetime better.
I gave 3 stars because I can't bring myself to give 4...I have to reserve 4 and 5 for those other places i've been to, but this place is more like a 3.8 or something. I think I'm coming here this weekend!
Dim Sum. For an Southeast Asian, it should be a memory of how your parents took you to eat dim sum on a Sunday morning, because that's the only time you eat together... or at least, that's what dim sum is to me.
Of course, we'd drive all the way out to Chinese district for dim sum. Not anymore! Came here with a friend and a second time with my sister. Dim sum is like every other place. It's good.
But of course, like every other Chinese restaurant, the service is always horrible. You have to ask for everything because they are either too stingy to give it to you or super duper lazy, yet expect a great tip. I'm always amused at how you have to ask for a cup of water for EVERYONE in your table, because if u ask for one, you only get one! A small one! So you will eventually need to flag down the numerous servers for some. It amazes me that they have enough workers for each table, yet it is so hard to get service. This place is no different.
To eat dim sum- you must have patience, because it takes quite a long time for the nice lady to push that cart to your table. Each time, I would eye the cart I'm waiting for, and like a train track, I watch the wheels move towards me..... but just before it comes to my row, it makes a turn and goes another way! Damn. All I wanted was the chicken feet. DAMN DAMN DAMN! What does a girl got to do just to get some chicken feet, but wait 30 minutes and HOPE that the girl will push her cart your way... : (
The price of dim sum is just about the same everywhere, but if you come here, you can get 20% off from 11am-3pm everyday! Of course you'd want to come before two so you can be sure you get all that you want. Because at about 2:40pm, they will take the food away, and while they are carting off with it, and you place an order, they will just tell you there is no more. Tough. Tough. It has happened to me. Horrible. I thought Chinese were all about making money too. : ( (Not good!! Not good!!) And if you didn't drink the hot tea, you best tell them or it will be on the bill for sure!
I think my new mission on Yelp is to tell the cautionary tales, the 1 star reviews. Especially in this economy, any dollars we spend on restaurant meals had better be well worth it.
There are hundreds of perfectly lovely places to eat. Unfortunately, Ten Ten Seafood is not one of them. Ten Ten Seafood could win the award for THE WORST SERVICE EVER, which is particularly shameful because Asian restaurants are renowned for terrible service.
So here's my true story.
Years ago, we once ate at Ten Ten, and I hated it, I really did. I distinctly remember that our teapot wasn't refilled, and that's downright inhospitable. When our favorite dim sum restaurant disappointingly downgraded to a Health Dept 'C', our search for an acceptable local replacement brought us back here. It wasn't crappy, so we came back again, then we came back more often, and we even brought friends and family.
But apparently, it was too good to be true. The leopard doesn't change its spots. I had this place pegged right the first time.
So today, we decided to have a family dim sum lunch. We arrived at the restaurant, we were seated at a table in the corner, we poured our tea, the Cart Ladies came by, we selected a bunch of dishes, and we were ready to eat.
Now admittedly, a 3 1/2 year old child lacks hand-eye coordination. It wasn't unexpected that our little girl tipped over a cup full of hot tea. BUT, the table where we were seated noticeably leaned to the north, and the steaming hot tea that spilled flowed off the table and directly into my child's lap. So she cried out. Naturally, I was alarmed.
We called a server over and asked if we could move to another table or if he could level out the table. What did he do for us? He brought over a cloth napkin to put on top of the wet tablecloth.
I told him that what we really needed was either for the table to be leveled or for us to move to another table. His response was that no other customers had complained about the table and that moving us to another table wouldn't make any difference. Then he proceeded to shake the tabletop in an attempt to prove that it was stable, and he continued to argue with us while the Cart Ladies unloaded more food.
So I collected my child and we walked out. (My husband spent another minute telling off the idiot server in Chinese. I married a great man. Read his review, too.)
I would have been perfectly satisfied if we had been moved to a level table. But since we were so mishandled, I am never going back, and now I'm that unhappy customer who tells 10 to 3000 other people that Ten Ten Seafood is the crappiest of the crappy dim sum restaurants.
I strongly recommend that all of you avoid this hellhole.
All things considered, I am very relieved that my child wasn't severely burned by scalding hot tea. NO THANKS TO TEN TEN SEAFOOD, YOU MORONS!
There's a strange bit of common wisdom which tells us that we should not expect good service at a Chinese restaurant, and because we should not expect it, we ought to excuse bad service. This bit of wisdom is, of course, only for those low-standards-having motherfuckers. Restaurants are part of the service industry; there's never an excuse to treat customers badly.
I was a regular at this place, but the service here after our last visit was so awful, I'll never go back. I would like to move to another table. There's a table 30 feet away that's open. I don't care that nobody else has complained about the condition of this table, I don't care that there's already food on the table. I don't care that it might take a few minutes out of your day. Don't argue with me, don't try and convince me the table's just fine, and don't ever tell me that I'm wrong for not liking the table. GIMME THE FUCKING TABLE.
I'll never go back.
I've only eaten dim sum here and the only thing I've ordered off the menu was their string beans. (Sam Woo's hot braised string beans are better) My favorites are the pork shu mai and shrimp with vegetables. My daughter alone can eat 8 of the shrimp balls. The fried ones with seaweed wrapped around it are very tasty but I can't have too many of those because they are very filling. Ask for a side of hot mustard and hot sauce and mix it with soy sauce and you got yourself a good dipping sauce...just watch out for that sinus burn..ouch! I'll also add that the fresh chinese brocolli is pretty darn good as well.
All dim sum is pushed around in carts. Sometimes there are only 2 or 3 women doing it so you have to be patient and wait til they can get to you. If you try to come here during the lunch rush, there will be a WAIT. This place gets pretty crowded and so does the parking lot. I recommend you come anytime before 12 or after 1 to avoid the crowd.
Mike and I left our desks today with the intentions of going to Del Taco for lunch. But then we passed by someone holding a plastic bag with a white Styrofoam box. And then I started imagining what might be inside that box. I was thinking crispy pork chop with spicy salt. mmm, that sounds good. Switch it up, we're doing Chinese. We get in the car.
"We haven't had dim sum in a while." I'm all up on it. Ten Ten's right around the block.
So, Ten Ten offers daily discounted dim sum from 11am - 3pm, which means dim sum is relatively cheap here, whenever they happen to be serving it. I did go after work here one evening and was disappointed when I didn't see any carts being pushed around. Still, food from the menu is quite satisfying.
So we're seated and with all that pork chop talk, I couldn't resist but order the Spicy Salt Pork Chops, on lunch special for $5.50. Menu says they're baked but they taste deliciously fried. Awesome deal, and now we have rice for our dim sum. I love discussing food while eating food so naturally, conversation shifted toward a dim sum ranking system. Here's the top 5 in my dim sum hierarchy:
#5 - Shrimp in the white noodle with the sauce. mmm.
#4 - Shu Mai - a solid staple
#3 - Congee (though we didn't have any this time around). Some warm you up and make you feel good inside rice soup with some fried wanton bits and green onion.
#2 = Fried eggroll-shaped thing in Seaweed - tastes like a shu mai log wrapped in seaweed then fried. crispy deliciously sinful. Dip it in some spicy mustard and the hot sauce. oooh.
and my #1 fav: Spare Ribs - oh and in that delicious oily sauce with the little black bean pieces that goes oh so great over rice. I could eat a big bowl of this stuff. It's so tasty!
Pork chops were delicious. Perfectly salted in all the right places with the slightest hint of heat from the sprinkled chili. It was an excellent meal that covered all the desired tastes and textures. Pretty speedy lunch, though asking for the bill ended up being a delayed longer than necessary transaction.
Come here for Dim Sum.
I'm in love with the variety of Dim Sum here. My favorites are the Tripe with ginger and jalapenos, the deep fried shrimp and pork egg roll with seaweed wrapped around it, the chinese broccoli, the poridge, and the pork and shrimp shu mai. The chicken feet are alright.
There is also a fast food part of this restaurant if you are on the go.
Apparently, the later you go to eat here, the better deals you can get. The service also gets better as the night wears on, most likely because there is less people to keep track of.
Ten Ten used to be located on Norwalk and South Street, but moved here when this Asian shopping center opened a few years ago. This, along with the rest of the center is the largest cash cow for the city of Artesia.
I love the hours: 11 am until "whenever we feel like it." You may get lucky and stick around until midnight, or you might just get kicked out at normal closing hours (11 pm). Just based off that alone, you know you've got a winner. You still get families trickling in even at 10:30 pm!
I went here last night with a group of friends and we were able to get an assload of food for about 25 bucks. I, wanting to break the mold of cheap Asian tipping, gave a $5 tip. Man, did they smile more at us and thanked us for coming.
The interior is pretty large and spacious and features a pretty nice chandelier. It's a slightly more formal setting than something like, say, the Great Seafood Harbor just across 183rd street.
One interesting thing I noticed is that both the cities of Artesia and Cerritos gave proclamations to the restaurant, which is prominently displayed on a wall inside the dining room.
I highly recommend coming here if you're up for good Chinese food in a well-maintained sit-down setting with reasonable prices.
Wildly uneven. First of all, hands-down the worst parking lot I have ever been to. It's a combination of student driving and bumper cars. So careful with that. The service is so-so. It seems the more people you eat with, the more cart service you get. This also affects the quality of food, as the longer you wait for a cart, the less chance there is of fresh fare. First time I went it was with a large group of friends and everything was great. Lots of variety, tasty dishes, and super cheap. We ate our fill, and it musta only been about 8 dollars a head.
However, each subsequent return has left more and more to be be desired. When it was only 2 of us, we were sat in the back, away from cart traffic. The service was ruder than usual (terse servers are to be expected at dim sum places for some reason), the selection was modest at best (and cold at worst), the tea tasted "off", even our bill took forever to arrive. A very different experience from the first visit. It was like a whole other restaurant.
I wasn't ready to give up on it yet, cuz it's a bargain when it is good, and I figured the poor experience was just a fluke. But while it was never as bad as that one time, it has yet to be as good as that other time either. Just so-so since then. Overall a very uneven restaurant, hard to gauge what it'll be like from meal to meal. Unless I am closer to the Cerritos area, I'd rather stick with Sea Empress in Gardena (which isn't that far anyway).
This place can get pretty busy, but well worth the wait.
Overall, the service is decent, the food quality is excellent, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the decor is elegant. However, you may experience some difficulty flagging down scrambling waiters during your weekend brunch, especially after Sunday church when everybody and their mom is there.
The dim sum is awesome! Our usuals are siomai, pork spare ribs, shrimp balls, steamed chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, and have recently added a new addition- pork and shrimp wrapped in seaweed then deep fried. As for the main dishes, try the salt and pepper pork chops, beef pan fried noodles, kang kong, and deep fried tofu.
Pretty much, we haven't found anything that we don't like. You shouldn't be disappointed at this place, for under $10 a person you definitely get your money's worth and more...
I was here for a dim sum lunch today. Um... where's the food? They only had 3 different food carts, and what they brought out tasted average. I've never seen such small portion. I felt like a giant biting into knuckle-sized portions of hargow and shumai.
Definitely bring someone who speaks Mandarin or Cantonese. The cart pushers barely speak English and are really hard to understand.
Service was pretty good... although that might have been because I was so busy eating I didn't really want anything else.
LMAO! I was dragged here by a friend to do dim sum recently. I saw my BFF (crappy waiter mentioned below) picking his nose in between slacking off and serving food. That was the cherry on top of my sundae. HAH!

This place has decent dimsum and is okay during the day.
However, service at night is unbelievable!… Read more »
I meant to get here for dimsum, but couldn't make it till dinner. Glad I went for dinner - this place rocks. Four of us ordered the honey walnut shrimp, spicy shrimp, sizzling beef in black pepper sauce and a whole fried flounder. The flounder was awesome (and amusing that the waiters laughed when the white guy dove into it.) The black pepper beef was jamming and the honey walnut was great. The spicy shrimp was alright.
They kept with quick passes of water, and the staff was attentive but not intrusive. Four of us ate like kings for about $82. (We had fried rice which was very good also.)
I can't wait to try for dimsum, but if you miss the dimsum hours, come in anyway for dinner - it's GREAT! They also have a take out side - grabbed some roasted pork for the week - good stuff!
OK please don't un-friend me for this 5 star review. You know who you are ;). Let me begin by saying that there are so many reasons for most people NOT to give Ten Ten 5 stars.
1. The food is A-OK... but the food is CHEAP! You can get dim sum for $6-$7 a person or you can have a fresh lobster dinner for under $20 a person out the door. And no, there won't be unsightly repercussions the next day. For a cheap & lazy Chinese family, this is 5 stars!
2. There's a wait. And it gets pretty unbearable on the weekends during lunch time. But have a Cantonese father who loves to sweet talk the cute owner and in no time y'all will be VIP like us too!
3. The service can use some work. Don't be so lazy and get up and get your own water! It's really not that hard of a concept. I've been doing it since I was in my LA Gear Pumps. Need to-go boxes? Those are on the side too. But here's an idea, actually talk and make friends with the wait staff and you'll be getting free mango pudding in a NY minute.
For Cerritos, for the price, this is as good as it gets! 5 solid stars! And no, please don't tell me to go to Prince Seafood. It's like $3 more a person! Try getting that past my Taiwanese mother who would rather starve than pass up the latest Chanel bag!

This review is dedicated to the Mom & Pops who have taken me to Ten Ten practically every weekend (at least once) for the last 15 yrs (yes, it's been around for that long but not always at the same location on Pioneer). We came to Ten Ten for EVERY occasion... New Year, holidays, birthdays, graduations, you name it. So obviously I'm slightly biased and hold this place dear to my heart. Sure, like my parents, Ten Ten have not been always appreciated by this prissy princess from Cerritos, but the times sure have changed.
Oh... and if you aren't my friend please don't come to Ten Ten to stalk me on the wkds... Thanks much.
My family calls this "the 930 chinese". Theres a modified menu here from 930 p.m. to 11ish. The menu is broken down into price categories which I think starts at 5 dolla to 8 dolla, not too sure but around there. Its so funny because where theres a bargain youll definitely see your share of filipinos, hey were smart that way. So were all eating honkong style chow mein, Peking duck, salt and pepper pork chops, frid rice then you look up and just for a quick second you think your at pinoy pinay LOL...Ten Ten great place to go for a late dinner at a bargain.
I must have dim sum-thing good to eat here! Ten Ten is a family/friends fave when it comes to Chinese food and the delicious dim sum. I recommend the pork siomai, shrimp balls, fried seaweed pork and shrimp roll, Chinese broccoli, chicken feet, and sesame balls. I also love the Peking Duck, beef chow fun, crispy pan fried noodles with seafood, and deep fried flounder...that is only if you are wanting to eat more than just dim sum. Unfortunately, this place does not necessarily meet my cleanliness and good service standards, but hey the food is good, enough said:)
As far as Chinese Restaurants go, this one is definitely at the top. My chinese grandma LOVES this place, and I'll trust her when it comes to chinese restaurants. We used to go almost every Sunday for their dim sum. Goodness, their dim sum is amazingly yummy, and, did I mention, cheap! Yes, I've tried the other food at this place, and that stuff is pretty good too.
Spicy Salted Squid
House Special Chow Mein
Chow Fun
Sweet & Sour Pork
Some of the many that I enjoy there. It's a great place. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because, like every other chinese restaurant I've been to, not great service. I hate waiting my whole meal to get my cup of water, and forget about getting a refill.
However, you'll find me at this place often ... VERY OFTEN.
I eat dimsum like a maniac. I come to Ten Ten often to satisfy this need that I have, and most often times find myself filled and ready to move on with the rest of my day. However, the last time I decided to go there has probably been the worst Ten Ten experience yet. The good thing? No wait time. The bad thing? Service.
We had to grab their attentions 'cuz for some odd reason the carts like to make a little meeting point at one table. I also asked for more of the side dish/plates with the 2 dipping sauces for my friends and I, and instead received one small plate of each. Hmm.
Another thing, the dimsum cart pushers would stamp our card before serving us. And then we got charged for extra stamps and tried to get one of them to come over and sort it out, but I think we flagged the boss down and she ended up talking to the worker who did it.... and when the boss had left, the worker gave us this look. Not our fault you can't do your job in the right sequence.
Before going to Ten Ten my friends wanted to go to Prince Seafood which is right nearby. But I convinced them to go to Ten Ten because it's cheaper. Sure, it's cheaper...
...but that's as far as it goes.
I gave Ten Ten 3 out of 5 stars because I came here often before. Service was always bad, but it wasn't as hectic as the last time I came here. So there were better times I had with this place... but I'm not sure when I'll be coming by the next time.
Went for dim sum at lunch. Had 6 dishes and the bill came out to $12-$13 (for 2). So it is inexpensive. Portions were slightly smaller than typical, offsetting some of the price savings. Even though we were there at lunch food appeared to have been sitting in the steam cart for awhile as the steam buns was water logged, and the rice wrappers of some of the other dishes felt a little "melted" instead of having the appropriate slightly chewy texture. The chicken feet was ok, but could have been cooked longer. The dish I had was a vegetarian tofu wrap.
I've been told the menu items are much better and will update my ratings should I go back and try those items.
This is my spot for Dim Sum on Sunday mornings. The food is good, but the place is always, always crowded! The staff is decent. I don't know if anyone else has noticed that they serve their drinks in cardboard coca cola cups, kinda weird.
The decor is kinda nice. Creates a cultured atmosphere. The food for dinner is good but the dim sum is definitely something to return for. Always cooked nicely, cheap and they have a wide variety of things to choose from.
Haven't had dim sum in ages. My friend said this place is better than Prince seafood in Cerritos, so we went there with a few friends. The dim sum was pretty good. Very typical Cantonese style. My friend who has lived in Hong Kong for 5 years said the hot sweet tofu in ginger syrup dessert definitely reminded him of his days there. The egg tarts were a bit burnt and dried, not too fresh. The chicken and sweet rice wrapped in leaf is very good, the rice was soft and carried a faint smell of the leaf. The chicken feet with black bean sauce and chili was very good. All the other regular items on the dim sum menu did not disappoint us. The service was decent, when we ordered the noodles to go, the server asked if we wanted the meat and vegetables with sauce put in separate containers so the noodles won't get soggy. well, that's a first, and I thought it was cool. Try the chrysanthemum tea instead of the regular jasmine or whatever they gave you. It is so much more refreshing. I like it that the food is warm and the price is better than Prince.
