Best golf value in the area! Best golf value in the area! Did I mention that Temeku Hills is the best golf value in the area. May I also mention that Temeku Hills is one of the most friendliest and easiest courses to play in the area.

The course can be seen off the street on Rancho California near the cross street of Marguerite, Temeku Hills is a Ted Robinson designed golf course. What does that mean for anyone? Well, huge, multi-tiered greens, a lot of short par 4's and a lot of green side bunkers. But honestly, this is a friendly course with a lot of hills and rolling fairways to help your drives go a few yards farther.

Actually, in my opinion the front nine is sooooo much better than the back nine. Sometimes when I play here, I'll play the front nine twice. The nicest feature of the front nine is the back to back par 5's on holes 4 and 5. Both have dramatic elevation changes and huge friendly greens to hit your approaches to.

They have a nice practice area to work on your game. The staff is very friendly as well. Great facility, great restaurant in the clubhouse, the course does meander around housing developments. And you run the risk of hitting into houses which kind of bites. But for the value, this is a great place to play

Do Not Come Here! It wasn't even worth the $32 weekday morning Green Fee! I played here a couple of years ago, but this course has gone downhill fast! Fairways are dried up, Greens are cratered and some of them don't even have Flags! How can you not have a flag on your greens?!?! Even funnier, they placed those little OB markers next to the Hole!

Neighbors are complaining about the property values going down due to the Course not being maintained any longer. The City is so pissed off they're beginning to slap the Course with irrigation violations. They didn't have any beer and I bought the last two bottles of Gatorade around noon!

I have never played such an awful course! And it's too bad, this once was a decent place to play!

It's unfortunate to see a course with a lot of potential such as Temeku Hills in an obivous state of decline.  I played here over the weekend and it will be the last time I play here.  With so many other courses in the Temecula valley, there is no reason to choose Temeku Hills.

Scorecard:  Scorecards, along the back, typically have a very rough layout of the course design.  On the Temeku Hills scorecard, hole #5 was cut off and hole #6 was completley missing!!!!  My threesome had never played the course before and we wanted to see a rough layout of the 6th hole.  I've never, ever in my entire golfing career seen a scorecard not include all 18 holes - it just tells you about the mismanagement of this course.

Pro-Shop:  This could have been the most depressing pro shop I've ever set foot in.  The selection was dismal.

Course Quality:  Would it kill the maintence team to occasionally water the fairways??  The rough was more green than the actual fairways.  I guess it helps give your ball a little more roll but this was a little ridiculous.

Overall, DO NOT play here.  The only reason I gave the course 2 stars was that the green fees for a weekend were only $27 - the greens had some kind of fungus and they decided to give everyone half off.

One last thing, Temeku Hills tries to play itself off as some resort course.  If you are on the website, DO NOT believe the photos you see - they are misleading to say the least.  There is no snack bar at the turn and no drink cart along the course.  Plus, the old man starter thinks he is running Augusta National or something.  I showed up with my hat backwards after putting on sunscreen and he told me to turn it around.  C'mon pal, this aint exactly the Masters.
