11 reviews for Telly's Charbroil Burgers
Amazing, reminds me of home, close, decently priced food.
The End.
No thanx. Never will eat here again. Ask for ketchup and they give you two packets. They have too many foods on the Menu. They really need to focus and make the foods right. Breakfast is good. Burgers and such is no good. BTW, their portions sucks. Need to be much bigger.

A little on the expensive side. Definitely better than the golden arches or anything like that. They don't have avocado which is kind of a downer for me. I love my burgers with bacon and av. It's more of a wait than your typical drive thru - they make the food to order and honestly - it's never been an amazingly long amount of time.
Their salads are really fresh tasting. their chili is kinda meh but the chili cheese fries with extra cheese and onions was allright.
I don't get the hype and it makes me wanna barf just thinking about going there. I also hate that their name is like that clothing store Telly's .. or Tilly's! Dammit,.. there I go again getting it mixed up.
I give it 2 stars, because my husband enjoys it once in awhile.
This review was a toss up for me. The wife and I use to goto Telly's EVERY Sunday for breakfast when she lived in Saugus (and she wasn't my wife). But in all honesty I don't know why. The food itself really does not stand out in any way. The burgers are OK, breakfasts are good and every time I eat the zucchini sticks I get sick. The greek selections taste a little watered down and rushed and the salads are a hit and miss.
The service over the years has seen a decline as many of the employees I first met moved on and were replaced with individuals who weren't as personable and caring. Eventually when we moved across town to Newhall we stopped hitting Telly's. It's definitely nothing to write home about but the food is eatable.

This place is literally across the street from my house. It's both a good thing and a bad thing. Good thing is that I can always come here whenever I please. Bad thing is I can always come here whenever I please. The food is great in here. It's not the most healthiest food in the world, but the taste of fresh burgers from this place is amazing. Most of the time I come to visit Telly's, I'll use the drive-thru. Here's a fair warning to the new people out there...
!!! If you see more than one car waiting in the drive-thru, prepare to wait for about 15 minutes to get your food in the car !!!
It's not really a complaint, but more of a warning to new people. They make every order fresh, so they prepare it once you order it.
All in all, this place has amazing burgers, but I'm addicted to their Chicken Ceasar Salads.

The person we call the "TROLL" at the drive-thru is still a bitch, yelling at you and telling you to hold on in the middle of your order. They need to can this person! I'm sure they can find a nicer more customer service oriented person. Jobs and money are had to find don't blow it. The food is ok. It's too bad they are the only game in town. I keep giving the place a chance, but its not working for me. I'm done with mediocre service and food for my money.

OK... I must confess that... I ate at Telly's for at least one meal a day during my 4 years in high school.
Besides that Telly's has super yummy food for a great price. I always order the spicy chicken strips which comes with loads of ranch and french fries. Super super good!! Their burgers and salads are really good too. OH! And their chili fries always hit the spot! I think I might have that for lunch actually... :)
Telly's is a great place to go for breakfast...the lunch and dinner items are suspect but Telly's has THE BEST pancakes and french toast...hands down. Lately, I've tried the omeletes which have been average but you can't go wrong ordering the pancakes...basically my rating is 5 stars for the pancakes and french toast.

You can't beat this hamberger stand anywhere around. Telly's has a large selection and everything's pretty good. It's family owned and they are there to help. This Telly's is NOT part of the Telly's on Sierra Hwy, different owners over there.
For three years I've lived near Telly's and I've been about three times. I have a weak spot for your standard American junk food, so you think this would be an oft-repeated emergency dinner spot but I'd sooner have a bowl of cereal. All three times I've waited at least 20 minutes in the drive-thru, but never in a long line. Food is a mix of half decent breakfast fare and your standard bag-of-grease grub like fries, burgers and corn dogs. A poor man's Jimmy Dean's I guess, whatever that means.
