Transfered Columbus Metro fcu to here. Got addresses wrong, turn off paperless statement w/o permission, closed 1 account w/o written notice

Overdrafted with two transactions for a total of 2.80 had enough in my own your change account to cover it but they charged me 35 dollars twice instead.

Simple transactions take forever. The Reynoldsburg, Ohio location is really, really bad. I am actively looking for a new regional bank/credit union. They need to lose customers. I'm not sure if it is incompetence or what. I wish Columbus Metro Federal Credit Union was still around. Stay away from this place unless you like to wait in line (...or drive thru).

I am a small business owner that moved from other credit union to them about 5-6 years ago and have had recent identity theft (not through them). They helped me through all that. I go to the grove city location and Aryin and (- I forget his name the one with glasses and the ponytail and the woman with long braids) and Racheal have all been awesome! They always follow up and do not treat me bad if on my "off day" in yoga pants. I can not tell you how awesome they have treated me and my business. Great Customer Service!!!

I have been trying for several days to complete the one time code have not been able to do I called and got no directions from the person I got. I cannot get to my statement or check on my deposits I need help

True story. I was just out of college and had my very first car loan through Telhio. First problem was that they waited 7 days after my direct deposit for it to show up on my account once. Cost me a bounce check at Sam's club because the money reached my account late. Second, I had my first car loan through them. I just got laid off from my job so I called them to see if I could pay HALF of my payment until I find a new job. The rep at the bank thanked me for calling and said it would be NO PROBLEM to make half payments until I find a new job. 3 days after my call they sent someone to my apartment at 3am and repossessed my vehicle. I called the bank who politely told me that they would return the car if I pay it off AND include a 1,500 penalty fee because they had to repossess it. I would NEVER do business with this institution EVER no matter how good of an interest rate they off you.

I must say I do not agree with all of these negative comments about Telhio. I know personally Telhio goes out of their way as much as possible to assist their members, other than giving the entire credit union away I am not sure what all these other people want or need. I have never had a problem with receiving my direct deposit when my employer sends it. In fact they even utilize a 2 day early deposit now. Telhio was also the very first financial institution to provide me with my very first auto loan without a co-signer. I was young and my credit was not that high back then. I have been faithful to them ever since. If you think you can find an institution that care more for their members and does more for their members good luck. I promise it wont be at a PNC, USbank, Chase, Huntington. They aren't bad institutions, but they are black in white in all policies. You will not get the personal care like you do at Telhio or most credit unions. During Covid they not only continued their 15 day grace period they even were doing loan deferments on all consumer installment loans up to 3 months, pretty much no questions asked.

had to contact the BBB because ive been with metro for over 4 yeaea ans always had a good realtionship with them ever since telhio bought them they ahve been so difficult to work with regardifn my car loan. just terrible all around.

I give them one star because it's not possible to give no stars at all. I went to their Morse Road office because I received a letter saying I missed a payment along with a couple of late charges. They couldn't resolve the issue because my loan was originated with Metro Columbus who Telhio merged with last year. They gave me the collections phone number to try and get this resolved. Luckily, I had receipts for all my payments for the past five years. They were trying to say I was a month behind on my payments which was false. It took two phone calls and a scan of some past payments to get this resolved (I hope!).
