Back in the late 90's, it seems like these types of places were popping up everywhere.  I loved it back then because I was 16 and tired of hanging out in friends basements...this was certainly a viable alternative to cruising Lindbergh as well...now that I am older, I am not sure that this is the best place to hang out.

Sure, Tee Time has a lot of different things to do.  They have mini golf, bumper boats, go-karts, an arcade and batting cages.  Usually, if there's skee-ball, I'm sold, but for some reason, this place is just alright in my book.  The place is generally kept clean, and the staff is, well, as attentive as  you expect 16 year old kids to be in a place like this, and I do enjoy the huge array of things to distract me.

But....

The skee-ball is often broke when I come here, or at least one of the machines is.  This can really really put a damper on my play time.  Also, the batting cages, are kind of bad.  The balls aren't really down the center, they are kind of wild, and the speeds are well, Super Fast or Super Slow. Now, back in the day when I was actually training to be a good softball player, the wild pitches wouldn't have bothered me, but now that I'm an adult, well...this place is for entertainment, I don't want to be challenged with crazy pitches, give me my token's worth!

Finally, this place, not shockingly, is swarming with children.  I know that's what a place like this is meant for, but it seems that the further into my 20's I get, the less I appreciate parents that let their kids run wild.  It's not that this is place is bad, just go with your eyes wide open.  Maybe I am just too old for this place now, but still...I am not too old to play skee-ball and I would like it if the machines were in consistent working order.

All these complaints aside, I do think this place is alright.  Also, I do think this could be a great place for a kid's birthday party...so long as the parents are actually watching the kids, that is.
