Consistently solid food and service. Ironically, for a place with buffalo meat, Ted's has one of the best vegetarian veggie burgers in town. I recommend the "green and hot" set up.  The half-sour pickles are a family favorite.

My wife and friends and I eat here at least twice a month. From burgers to salmon to bison meatloaf we always enjoy the food! Sometimes the service is a little slow but usually this only occurs on the busiest of evenings. Over the years we have found  this to be a consistently well run restaurant!

Apparently Ted's is a large chain, but this is the only one I've been to. It's a dandy. Have only had the burger, and I fully endorse the product. I recommend the bison.

Ahh, Ted's.  How I do love your pickles.  My 3 yr old loves the revolving door and I am a fan of Allison, who is an AMAZING server.  I always try to get the squash casserole as my side and I can never finish a whole burger.  All in all, a great place to eat with your kids.

The bison nachos are incredible--simple and delicious. The burgers are also terrific.

I love this place. Go here often with the fam and everyone is happy. Salads are great and the burgers are inventive and delicious. If you've never tried bison, this is the place. Don't be scared, its great! This place is proof that chain restaurants can be interesting, high quality and socially responsible. yay.

    Ted's = Bison = Yum.

Today's late-lazy-Sunday, pre-nap lunch pick was a bison burger (as usual) with avocado and Jack cheese. This time, I went wild . . . and put mayo on it. I know, I'm living on the edge.

The Boy got a regular burger with cheddar. We were both pleased, food-wise, as expected. Our only real complaint was our kind of unfriendly bartender, but the GM of this location was super nice, so ultimately, no harm-no foul and we even had a pleasant discussion with him about how he does "line check" (making sure everything is stocked and ready to go, etc for the shift) and about how people are more aware these days about what they're ordering and how they want their food - it's always a plus in my book when you can have a nice little chat with management.

Nice Ted's, good food, awesome stuffed bison on the wall. I dig.

Ted's Montana Grill welcomes you with a comfortable atmosphere. Their layout contains wood paneling  floors and booths combined with a vast assortment of paintings along the walls that give off a proud to be an American type of vibe. The high high walls around the booths offer customers privacy and intimacy while they enjoy their meal.

The server begins your meal with complimentary pickled cucumbers, which I surprisingly enjoyed.

What really makes Ted's unique is their bison selection of meat to choose from.  Ted's menu offers typical American food, such as meatloaf, burgers, and pot roast, and uses bison meat in place of hamburger meat. Also for those who are not fond of red meat, chicken and fish are also made available.

I actually ordered the Bison Burger with Chili Cheese topping, which I was very fond of. Who would have ever thought that food made from a roaming buffalo could be so good and healthier than a regular cow.  I guess those Chick-Fil-A cows could use this as an excellent selling point if they want to start a whole new campaign called "Eat More Bison."

mmmmm...... Ted's serves up probably THE best cedar plank Salmon I have ever tasted! When in Rome...... Well, you know the rest. So naturally, I went with the blue plate special and since I was here on a Sunday, it was roast turkey and dressing. Not bad, not bad at all! and very filling. I couldn't eat it all so half of it came home with me that night.

If there is any one thing I love about a restaurant, it's that I can walk in, sit down at the bar and spy my favorite beer on tap. SCORE! Ted's not only has 1 of my favorite beers on tap, but 2 of them! Blue Moon and New Castle! If your asking me, and I think you are! Then these 2 savory brews are nectar from the Gods.

So not to be out done by the tasty beverages and stick to your rib meals, we move on to my favorite course of the meal. Dessert of course! I shared the Kahlua Fudge Brownie..... ok, your right. I didn't share so much as I ate the whole dam thing. A molten hot brownie topped with sweet vanilla ice cream and covered in hot chocolate sauce. MMMMMMMMMM!!! Make me wanna smack my own momma! (sorry mom's I love you!)

Ted's is actually a really nice place to get some good food. Even if it is a huge conglomerate chain owned my our very own Ted. Viva La Capitalism!

Every time I go to Ted's, the food comes out as if it were cooked and warmed up in a microwave.

Hey, it's around the corner, so, I'm sure I'll end up there again.

Maybe the best thing in the place is Ted Turner's new book.

Fabulous ambiance, amazing food, attentive service, and reasonable prices make Ted's a go to for a consistently great dining experience!

The homemade pickles are your free and wonderful appetizer.  If you love them as much as I do, ask your server for seconds, and they will gladly bring you more (free!).

Then, get the bison.  Any kind, and in any way.  And they will cook it for you however you like.  Yes, even medium rare.  And I mean real medium rare,  not Longhorn "cooked meet health standards" medium rare.  Real, genuine, red (not pink) in the middle medium rare.  You know, something a good UGA vet could still revive ;-)

I usually don't like casual chains, but with them (and Ted's) you do get one thing absolutely guaranteed: consistency.  Once you find the dish you love, it will be cooked to that same pinnacle of gastronomical perfection each and every time you order it.  And this is why you will find me back at Ted's Montana Grill.

Oh, and it's kind cool that it's 99% plastic free; even the straws are made out of biodegradable material!

This place is always a very good experience.
Pickles on the table - my wife's favorite.
    Juicy hamburgers cooked just right.
    Efficient, friendly service.
Fries are right up there with the best.
    Salads are gargantuan.
Prices are what you would expect for the quality.
I'll try one of the steaks next time.
They also have a daily special.
    Warm, comfortable atmosphere.
This is a go-to place if I'm not in the mood for something exotic.

I couldn't believe it when I came across this review and saw that I hadn't put one on here myself. I have no idea how many times I've been to Ted Montana's Grill especially this one. I LOVE it!
Unlike everyone else giving reviews here, I am not impressed with the Bison burgers (unfortunately for my arteries). But I love anything and everything else I have had there and that is probably 80% of the entire menu. ALL their hamburgers are good, no matter what toppings you get, it just goes by preference. Their fries and onion rings are both great.  I LOVE their Creamed Spinach....in fact I love it so much that once in a while I have it in place of fries! (Yeah yeah yeah....call me what you want!). They have great salads, and trust me, it takes alot to make me compliment salads!
Their waiter/waitress service is excellent as mentioned before. Every time I have been there, I've always had excellent service whether it is at this Ted's or one of the many others in Atlanta.

Yeah, for the most part I'm a big fan of Ted's. I love the bison burgers and they have some awesome onion rings, which I try and stay away from. I like it because I can get a nice healthy burger (get the wheat bun and tell them not to float it - my hint for healthy living ;) ) or go crazy and splurge (check the nutritional sheets for more). The service at some of the Ted's can be spotty, but this one on Johnson Ferry tends to be pretty good for us and we're usually a big party since we make it a family affair. They now have $8 lunches so make sure to give them a try!

These are some of the best burgers in town.  Be sure to ask for extra napkins.  The environment feels classy and the food is all very good.  They serve tasty pickle slices while you wait for your order.

What can I say?  Every visit has been beyond satisfactory!  The crab cakes are a personal favorite, but everything has been delicious, including the "sliders", which are out of this world.  The staff is always attentive and friendly, and the Managers seem to love what they do as well.  I'm a life-customer.  The "Skyy's" the Limit with these folks!  One big "Toast" to you all!

My husband and I have been here several times.  And it is always great!  Today I had the Blue Creek bison burger, a first for me.  Delicious!  The burger was juicy, the cheese had just the right amount of bite to it.  The onion rings were cooked to perfection.  The service is always wonderful.  In the past, I've gotten the lunch cut of the cedar plank salmon, which is also very good.  The prices are about $15/person, depending on what you order, without dessert.  I've never had dessert at Ted's, but not because I don't want to.  The meal always fills me up so there's no room for it.  I highly recommend the restaurant for a hearty lunch or dinner.
