This week they did maintenance stuff for my vanagon (brake fluid flush, coolant flush, check fuel lines for age) plus they replaced my missing rear sidemarker. I got an exact quote from Ray in advance (he does this for everyone). BTW I wasn't worried about being ripped off at all. They even replaced my themostat without changing that quote (just additional for the needed part, not the install labor). They have helped me with little stuff for free 3 times now and only now have I finally paid. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT VANAGON SHOP!

Ray and his wife seem to be cheery people when you 1st deal with 'em ... but try taking your car back due to sub-par worksmanship, and their REAL attitudes emerge. I will never ever go back there ... verbally abusive, horrible business practices, I've been steering all sorts of business away from Tec Shop for a few years now. Since I live in the neighborhood, and am a businessman myself, I understand word-of-mouth is a killer for any business if the word is BAD! I'm wondering how long it'll take for this shop to go under and become a pizza place or a bar and grill. As long as Ray and his wife aren't operating it, I'll walk over to support the new business.
