Why is it that when the word 'bistro' is tacked on to the name of an Asian restaurant prices automatically double?

Having exhausted nearly all of the Asian eatery options in Toledo, my parents and I decided to take a jaunt to Levis Commons to check out Tea Tree Asian Bistro.

Greeted by only two other tables, an inkling of doubt crossed our minds despite the impressive interior design of the restaurant. The hot & sour soup, while great for a cold day, was very much on the peppery side. As for our entrees (lava chicken, szechuan jalapeno chicken, and mongolian beef)? All onionized beyond belief. And while I'm on the subject of entrees ordered, I'll also point out the fact that they have violated the first rule of Asian dining: skimping out on rice. A big no-no, fyi.

The consensus? TTAB fell slightly short of expectations when it comes to the Chinese dishes. Perhaps the sushi is better.

I can honestly say, I wasted 41 dollars on sub-par sushi and service. We had driven all day and stopped to eat here before we checked into our hotel. My wife remembers it being good last time she was back home, however things have obviously changed. We told the waitress we had had not eaten all day and that we were hungry so we wanted some quick app's. no luck they came out about 2 minutes before the food. and the food didn't arrive at any blazing speed. Her excuse was that they had to head the stoves. We arrived at around three, they had a happy hour that began at three shouldn't the stoves be on?
when the apps did arrive the agadashu tofu was so bad we had to send it back. It felt like someone took a torch to it, kind of like creme brule as opposed to just dropping in the deep fryer. The sushi was not worth the price, the rice was old and crusty and the rolls were rolled lazily. We had a futomaki for 8 bucks and a Miami for 15 neither were worth the price. The futo maki only had 5 pieces and two of them were falling apart.
The waitress would rather sit at the front of the house and talk with the other waitress then bring our food to us.
Overall just a horrible waste of time and money. The only positive is that I didn't have to pay for the Tofu, they were smart enough to take it off the bill.
I will not be going back

I had Sushi here which was great. And shared an entree with a friend, been so long, don't remember what we got but it was pretty average. Sushi was definitely better though. Highlight of the visit were their exotic teas which blossom in your hot cup as they bring it to the table. Pretty cool looking but ok-tasting.
