I went here last night after going to all you can eat hot pot. Figured we'd drink some tea while digesting the heavy load of food in our bellies.

Ordered something new this time. It's was Hibuscus (don't even know if I am spelling it right) tea, Mango black tea and barley black tea.  The Mango black tea tasted like mango juice.  I think they forgot to add that juice to the black tea.  Hibuscus tea was very very sour, we did not like it and asked to get another tea instead. Barley black tea was good. We added some aloe vera to the teas, tasted very yummy.

I am still a fan of this place, even though I did not have Oolong tea last night. I still gave it four star because we got to exchange our teas for other ones. So technically we drank a lot of tea for cheaper.  But yeah don't order Hibuscus or Mango tea if your looking to drinking some tea.  To me those two teas tasted more like juices.

Most beautiful ambience! The place is huge and very clean. I love their atmosphere and the service is great!

Of course this place is known for their tea, so I had the Chrysanthemum tea, which was great! And also we ordered Lychee Slush...OMG! Tasted like pure sugar, but sooooooo good! ^_^

Overall, go to this place, you won't regret it!

Nothing here is worth the price. Just because they have fancy drink mixers and nice decor, doesn't mean this place is good. Everything is overpriced; from the food, to the drinks, to the everything. And the service is just... Bad.

Though, I enjoy walking into Tea Station for its warm, well-lighted atmosphere, I am taken aback by the unsightly prices and portions. My friend and I ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, sweet butter brick toast, a beef bowl, and the fried pork chop. As for drinks, my friend ordered the hot milk green tea and I got a strawberry pudding tea.

What really irked me,  was the fact that my pork chop came out, before everything; even the drinks. To my expectations, it was tough and oily. They didn't even fry it enough. The batter was soggy and oily in the middle, while the edges were crunchy and dry. I can't even begin to describe the flavor. It was just gross. The miso soup that came with it was also pretty bad. It was lukewarm and bland. Next was the salt and pepper chicken wings. No, wait, the salt and pepper popcorn chicken, because they got the order wrong. -__- It had the same flavor as the pork chop, and if you look closely, you could see the little, bar-shaped grains of MSG. Disgusting. The tea was also, misleading. It looked absolutely delicious, but it tasted absolutely atrocious. It was alarmingly sweet, and the pudding was hard and inedible.

And don't even get me started with the service! It took close to seven tries to get the waitress's attention. When I did, I politely told them, "Excuse me, I ordered the chicken wings, not the popcorn chicken." You know what she told me?! She said "NO, YOU O-DER DAT ONE!" The nerve!!!

I'll never come back, not by the hairs of my chinny chin chin! Two stars for horrible service, and low-quality products.

Well I had a great time here with friends overall.

The food was tasty as was the tea. The service was as others have said... Crappy...

But after the super bad experience earlier in the night it was average.

    So lets get into it:

The tea  was good regardless of hot or cold. we ended up with a pot of hot milk, hot raspberry, cold lychee, and cold milk. All tasted decent to whomever ordered it. I had the cold lychee ice tea with bobba and loved it.

We also had dried squid (didnt eat it), sausage on a stick (think mini brats/hot dogs, that one of others liked and I didnt taste), and the fried wontons which I had a bunch of. Yummy grub.

Beware the FOBs running the service. Most were in uniform and one or two looked like they were just off the boat, literally. They were slow at clearing dirty dishes, misunderstood orders, and were not following any planned assignments on who serviced what areas. It was painfully obvious that they all worked the entire restaurant and that servers delivered the food and had no clue who had ordered what (or even if they were delivering the right thing).

Overall all though the grub was good and atmosphere was something that we all enjoyed. We also had no issue hanging out there for an hour or two. Awesome stuff :) enjoy it if you go!

    drinks are okay, way overpriced...
servers are slow and can't see when i wave my hand to call them over...i had to wave my hand about 5 times before someone noticed i wanted my check and to get out of there
    very loud and noisy
i personally don't like to see the waitors' buttcracks when they bend down to order for other tables...almost every single one of the waitresses wear low waist jeans with short t-shirts that when they bend down everyone of them shows their buttcracks...  - -

Service is nice, but I think some of the food there is overpriced.

The minced pork with rice is really flavorful, the boba is good, but there is half/half just around the corner...

overall, great place if you want to sit for a long time.  They NEVER kick you out or rush you.  Great place to do work, talk to long lost friends (:D) and play games / cards if you want to.

I came here for late Tea and and some shaved ice.
I must say my friends and i all felt like high class princesses/prince from the awesome services.  They had a guy standing in the middle just waiting...waiting to serve someone. Also another girl would walk around filling waters in tea pots when it was barely drank.

This kind of service def did not go unnoticed and we were all very pleased! Aside from that, food and tea is the same at all tea station.

Hands down still my favorite place to get boba. Almost always order green tea with boba, sweetened.

Ordered to go which was neither slow nor fast considering that it was a slow day. Drinks are getting a little pricey now.

The milk tea here is frothy and they use plenty of boba in their drinks. As many have said, it is indeed overpriced and no real difference in the taste to take it to that level. They have a deli-noodle which is pretty good and includes a small plate of pickles, hard-boiled eggs, some kind of fish jerkey and vegetables. The waiters are all smiles since English is not always the first language here ! Take a book, ibook, magazines and just spend some time here to enjoy the tea and some time to yourself.

My favorite teahouse in SoCal! The tapioca is nice and chewy. Only downside is that it's crazy expensive - $4.50 for milk tea? Gah. Also, if you dine in, each person is required to order something or they charge you $4 or something like that. On the up side, their fried taro balls are amazing!

The meals aren't anything special - just go for the tea. You can adjust the sweetness, too - just tell your server!

I came here with my husband to meet a friend for nighttime drinks and to catch up. I was absolutely astonished at how horrible the service was! I'd give them negative stars, but we can't do that apparently.

No only did they take forever to take my order, they messed it up twice, and then never returned with a corrected drink. Then they had the audacity to blame me for the "mix up" (when I specifically requested a hot drink and not a cold one, twice) when I went to ask why the drink was listed on the bill. The service was atrocious, took me about 20-25 mins to flag down the waiter that was supposed to be serving our table so we could get the bill. What irritated me even more was that they started bad-mouthing me when I went to ask them to take off my never-served drink off the bill in chinese at the counter, which I fully understand.

I have been to other Tea Station locations that have amazing service and quality drinks/food. This is definitely NOT one of them. Never coming back here.

Wow, I was surprised how bad this place was.  I've been to other Tea Stations expecting the same quality of food but it did not deliver.  Don't get the beef wraps here, you can do so much better at other places.  It was like a soggy burrito.
I barely drank my hot milk green tea with boba.  The boba was sticking together and it didn't taste fresh.  I would recommend Chai for Tea's, theirs is so much better.  The tea eggs were just ok.
The atmosphere is nice though, it's a very fun and lively place.  Lots of people hanging out, playing cards, on their laptops.  Just don't go for their food.

Like all Tea Station throughout SGV area, it's always relatively clean and neat.  This location is small and could get crowded easily, so be warn! But I do like this location because it is small! It has enough table outside and inside to meet up with a friend for a cup of hot tea, boba, or even HOT POT (seasonal).

I've added a picture of the menu, so take a look. When I walked into their location, every other table was chowing down on it. Yum! As for their quality of their drinks, it doesn't fail the Tea Station standard!

check 1 - location (small and quaint)
check 2 - quality tea and drinks (non-alcoholic)
check 3 -chilly outdoor seating area with a steamy hot pot!

Honestly, I expected better. I heard about the Tea Station and maybe, there are other items that are good and tasty but the strawberry shave ice was a disappointment. The strawberries aren't fresh and although strawberries aren't really in season, you can still get them in the market. I don't think I'll be back considering there are a lot of other places nearby.

When I'm in the area, I really prefer going here versus the other 2-3 drink places in this plaza. Parking sucks at night when it is busy as you literally have to park to the far corners of the lot or worse the streets and alleys. It's right on the Valley so you won't miss it.

Service was decent though they are kinda slow. But drinks were consistent and well made. I've always liked tea station for their authenticity.

With a Don!  I am the DUKE!  LOL!  Well, for the time being... I guess, I am obliged to grant a review!

I am a relative new comer to tea houses, I had first frequented AU 79 as I knew many that were working there at the time; Brandon L., Thomas T, Thomas t., Angie, Ami, Summer, Derek, Candy, and the list goes on!  As time went on, I had to search for new digs.  This has become my third stop on my tour; Ten Ren TT in MP, on G/G, of which I am also, a duke was the second stop.

I still frequent those first and second stops, but not as often as before.

I love this place (TS-SG)!  I hope so,  since I have a bunch of check-ins..

As far as my experience, NOT like Tim E. Service has always been 5 star for me!

Can't get better than Ten-Ren Tea, cuz it's next door.  Yes, it is a bit pricier than then your average tea joint, BUT, given the proviso that you are getting some of the BEST REAL TEA!  What would you expect?  I am a tea drinker and NOT a coffee drinker, so I cannot give a comparison, since I have NEVER been a coffee drinker, but that's another story, cuz of my DAD who was a CHRONIC coffee drinker, thus none of us in the family ever would touch the stuff, when I was growing up.

Yep! no powdered, reconstituted tea or faker tea "drink" here!

They know me, and I get all of my stuff at lunch, pretty quick!  So, I'm in and out pretty quick.  For a tea house this past year or so, I have been depending on them for my Lunch meal and Tea and after noon tea to go.  The Prepaid Tea Station Card is pretty good, if you come here a lot then it's pretty handy  and since I use their reusable containers for my to go orders, that's pretty good too!

Food is OK for a tea house, I usually get their Green Tea flavored noodles in Soup, either with the wontons or some other side meat dish, with a green tea.

The tea and the tea combos / drinks are what I come here for!  I have sworn off boba for a while now, gotta watch the weight!  So I go for the crystal jelly..  If I want Boba, I go out to AU 79 for their Pink Boba, AU 79 is also affiliated with the Ten Ren family and carries pretty much the same base tea.

Of late, I have been trying the drinks of the month, they are a hit or miss, and depends on your palate.
I have liked the Kiwi Jelly Ice - quite the concoction of almost everything!
Oolong White Peach Milk Tea - hits a certain spot!

I love trying their new mixes, esp in the cold months and the Hot months, they have some great surprises!

I love their Chicken wings and a bunch of the small dishes on a weekend night when your with your buds!  I come here to talk it up, when you haven't seen your buds for a while or to relax with some table games....

Be aware, very limited street parking in the front and side, very limited parking in their small lot, they share with the SG Mall to the rear.  You can risk parking in the Big mall lot, but watch out for those"Guards" looking at you for parking on theirs and going else where.  In San Gabriel, this is the "epicenter" of the Asian population, so be careful of Drivers NOT behaving nicely!  I have been almost run over here, since they may "Speed up" if they see a pedestrian!

Yah, it's a bit pricey, but once again, IT'S REAL TEA!  And the good stuff!  Not the Powdered stuff, Or the "Bad tea"

Crowds can get rough and staff can be taxed when it gets buzzing, sometimes, there may even be a wait for either dining in, to even get a seat, or for to-go orders!  SO be patience!  It's a virtue!  and a Godly one at that!

Cheers and see ya on the Tea Scene!

I have a love hate relationship with Tea Station.

    Here's why I HATE it:

    - Service absolutely SUCKS!! It's run by haughty fobby teenagers, or just super young looking Fobby Chinese who have absolutely NO CONCEPT of the western concept of customer service.  They rarely acknowledge you, and so hurriedly deal with you that barely any extra words outside of the transaction are uttered.  Also, if you don't know mandarin, you're most likely SOL.

    - Parking totally sucks since it sits on the periphery of the Focus Plaza.  It's just stressful looking for parking.  It's always an ordeal no matter what time you come here.

    - Front entry for take out orders is always kind of disheveled and dirty.

    Here's why I LOVE IT:

    - Their drinks, boba drinks, whether hot or cold are the shiiiiitte!! My favorite is their Rose Milk Tea.  It's not as fragrant as the Persian versions for their ice creams, but it has such a pleasant soothing effect on me.

    - They have both the traditional Taiwanese shaved ice (that's more like granules) and the SNOW FLAKE ICE http://www.yelp.com/us... which is almost identical in quality and taste to Class 302's famous Shaved Snow.   I prefer this Snow Flake and Class 302's Shaved Snow because the texture looks like very thin "crayon shavings" that melds together with whatever flavors you mix with it to literally create a new crystallized texture for a new kind of snowy crystalline creaminess.

Despite all the sucky reasons, I still come...for both take out and dine in for their wonderful selection of teas, blended drinks and tasty bites.  As I look around, it's definitely a LOT of Chinese people of various ages hanging about playing cards, etc while munching/sipping away.

My recent experience @ Tea Station was just ok... nothing extraordinarily good happened to make this place deserve more than 3 stars from me.

First of all, the parking situation in this plaza kind of sucks most of the time, I've been told.

Secondly, it's very chaotic inside. There's no real function in there. A haphazard line is formed right by the door, which can be overflowing with customers. It's great that you have a bunch of customers, but if they're constantly being squeezed by the entrance/exit (door), perhaps it would be good to take their order further inside!
The guy that took our order was somewhat helpful. He was seemingly patient, but at the same time wanted to rush orders to get the line moving. In doing so, I completely missed the "sweetness level" option.

Thirdly, the "cashier" wasn't even wearing a uniform or name-tag. He was just taking orders, but could have passed as just another customer.

They do accept credit cards including Discover, so that's good.

They do serve other stuff like what looks like shave ice & ice cream, but perhaps some other day. I was already full.

Anyway, I ordered the rose flavored boba (iced) milk tea. It was pretty good & flowery, but not sweet at all. I brought it back and asked to make it sweeter, but it was only marginally sweeter. So I kinda gave up upon that sadly.

I like to think that if I had ordered it properly, my drink would have been better. I left a little disappointed honestly, but would be willing to try it again. And if I do, I'll update this review.
However, with all that being said: I've had much better @ the Boba Truck.

The parking behind Tea Station and other places is horrible.  Basically, there's one way to get in and one way to get out.  Imagine this, the parking spots are slanted meaning there's usually two ways to get out, but nope, thus... it makes for some tricky maneuvering and I'm sure a lot of hit and runs.  They do have a little area to make a u-turn, but with even that, it's pretty tiny.

The establishment itself is fairly big and is pretty crowded at nighttime.  They do open late and have tables where you can order from a waiter/waitress.  The menu has a lot of pictures, which I love.  My friends and I ordered the shaved snow in both honeydew and milk flavor.  We also chose a few toppings.  I must say, the milk flavor snow is 100x better than the honeydew flavor just because it complimented the toppings better and had a more ice cream like taste.  I think that the honeydew would be good for someone who likes that taste, but I thought it was a bit overpowering.

The boba drinks are pricey, but they are pretty good, especially their milk teas.  I would definitely come back just for shaved snow.  Guppy's who?

    FOOD QUALITY:
I regard this place as the highest quality of tea that I can get from boba stores. The tea quality is just as good as ten ren's, but their milk tea is especially good. The tea has a milky texture to it, which adds richness to the entire drink itself. I can't say much for the boba, since I hardly get those here. The only cons is that it's a little pricey, and I'm not sure if I can say it's actually worth the money.
As far as food, I've only had it crispy chickens and I would say it's standard. It's not very memorable or special to me.

    SERVICE:
When it's crowded, I understand it gets really busy and hard to make sure everyone is doing well in a large environment. However, it seems a little difficult to catch a waiter's attention here. It may also be my bad luck that they have a tendency to check on our table when we don't need them at the moment. However, I don't condone it when I see waiters goofing off / talking with other waiters when it's crowded and there are people raising their hands.

    ENVIRONMENT:
There's quite a lot of space at this store! Seats a lot of people, however it gets fairly loud when it's crowded. However, I particularly dislike how their bathrooms only support one person (of each gender) at a time when it's a restaurant of this size.

Overall, this place is a pretty good place to visit -- if only you don't care about the money and only want the luxury quality of richness. This is a place that I like to swing by from time to time when I feel like giving myself a treat. It's also nice that I can order to-go to save myself from having to deal with service sometimes.

This place is the devil's trap, I swear.

Yes, the boba is orgasmically chewy and sweet.

Yes, the milk green tea is strong enough to keep you awake and keep your taste buds begging for more.

But come on people. Is a large cup of boba milk green tea really worth $5.50 nowadays?

    I ask myself that everyday...

They are a higher end chain of boba places and soooo much better than tapex, quickly or lollicup. I don't know what they put in the almond milk tea but it doesn't taste powdery like the rest. The almond flavor is intense and it's soooo almondy for lack of a better word. The quality of the boba is good and its consistency is always on point, a combination of soft & chewy. I haven't been there since I've been going to half&half but will definitely stop by soon for that sweet taro dessert.

The teas here are great and the presentation is even better.

I used to come here a lot in the late winter and through the Spring until we began to get bad service.  It all went down hill when the girlfriend ordered a green tea ice cream shake and they brought it out in a small mug compared to the pitcher that it had always come out in.  We asked to have the pitcher and the waitress insisted that it was the same thing.  The mug obviously held less liquid than the pitcher, so after a little argument, we got our way. Since that incident, we went back a few times and each time we walked in, the waitresses all would mad dog us and ignore us when we sat down.

Other than the nice tea cups and the tasty beverages, other pluses are the ambiance being nice and peaceful and the free Wifi.

Aside from the snobbishness of the waitresses, other negatives include some weird voice that yells at you whenever you enter or exit the side door and that there are no electrical sockets available to charge your computer, so get ready to use the battery if you plan on doing any work in there.

I used to love this place A LOT but not anymore!  Anyhow, this wasn't my first choice.  I actually went to Le Arbre and it was closed!  I was so sad!

I got the mixed fruit tea with boba and less sugar.  First of all, they forgot the boba in my drink and second, I asked for less sugar, not less flavor.  The tea was so bland and watered down.  It didn't taste very good at all.  Also, the boba was straight up bland.  Yuck!  What happened?

Boba Tea, slushy Asian drinks, and fried tofu, Tea Station is a popular hangout for Asians in the San Gabriel area.  They have several locations across the valley and they all serve the same yummy drinks!

I generally order a Boba Tea, but that's being played out so I definitely recommend stepping out on the limb and try something new.  This time around I ordered the Mango Slushy w/ Jelly - Yum!  It's a hit or miss thing and this time I hit the bulls eye!

Service is okay at best - they're generally pretty packed and have several servers.  Most I've notice speak English as a 2nd language so ordering with questions can be a challenge.  (Learn Chinese!)

Ambience is loud!  There's generally folks playing board or card games - those are the quiet ones, but some people have a tendency to forgot how loud they can be while they laugh...you know who I'm talking about.  Studying, in my opinion is not feasible here, but if you need that background noise then by all means. - Enjoy!

I consider myself the Queen of boba shops and snob of snobs when it comes to tea.  And of all the places I've tried in my lifetime, this tea station is still the best at making a simple jasmine great tea.

Recently, they came up with this pineapple green tea, made from fresh pineapples and I must say, I'm a fan.  It's crisp, light, and filled with plenty of vitamin C and antioxidants now!  The boba green milk tea is also really good.  And before, the workers used to speak little to no English, but as of recent...they've improved on that so it's much more welcoming to non-Chinese patrons.

The one thing about this place that I don't like is their parking situation, which is why I had to knock it down a star.  The parking lot is ridiculously small and in fact, one row and only allows for one way driving so if there are no available spots, you cannot turn around and exit....instead, you'll have to reverse out.  However, there is also street parking (though minimal) and also Focus Plaza to park at, as well.

They're open from 11am-Midnight, so if you're feeling like something refreshing, come here.

    Out-freaking-standing.

I was the only white guy in the place around 11 PM and when that happens I know the spot is normally full of win (at least for me).  An angel and I decided to arrange a late night meet up and of course around this hour there isn't a whole lot open.  Tea Station was recommended, and enjoyed.

Seating is rather large and open so it isn't the place you go for quiet conversation.  That's ok though because we were loud and laughing our asses off at each other all night.  Wait staff were friendly and prompt with our order even though they were packed.

Drinks seemed to be overpriced though. A couple of bowls of tea for 10 something bucks?  I don't know and I didn't care as the conversation was worth much more than that.  Probably would have given them a 3 overall but I enjoyed my time.

Ten Ren Tea Station, differs from Tea Time slightly. I'm not sure how they are trying to distinguish the two, but the Tea Time on Atlantic is usually packed with students soaking up the free wifi. Tea Station has a little more laid back, restaurant feeling. Teas are served with a very small hot water pot so that the waitresses are kept busy, refilling as you drink; it was the managers intent to keep the servers from just standing around. Yes, drinks can be sweet, but when I ordered my almond milk tea, the waitress asked if I wanted sweet or half-sweet. Good to have options. Our food came out well before the drinks did, which is a bit unusual, but not a problem. Next door is the tea store with loose leaf teas available for purchase and a great selection of pots and cups, some quite expensive and stylish.

I love LOVE LOVE the green milk tea with pudding.. The tea station here make the best pudding!! Don't get your tea with boba...that'll be a waste of stomach..!

Their sweet butter toast is also heavenly!! You just won't go wrong with these two!

If I really liked their foods, then why only 3 stars, you might ask?

Everybody is required to order (which is stupid) and so many of our friends would like to come here just to hang out...  Since we are regulars, they used to allow one of our 10 people group to skip an order, but a few times, the server has been very disrespectful to us and enforced the minimum order.

Well, i think you could be at least more polite to us regular customers...Besides, their service is so slow... I mean, you can definitely serve drinks faster than that!

Just because you can make good milk tea and some toast, it doesn't mean you waive good service...

Now I'm on a quest to try some new flavored milk teas. I need to grow some balls because I'm sick and tired of just drinking taro and thai tea.

Looking through the menu, I saw the Rose Milk Tea. What the heck, why not try it. My wife ordered the Honey Dew Milk Tea.  Then we ordered the sweet butter toast again (I'm so addicted to it) and takoyaki.

While waiting for the food, our drinks arrived http://www.yelp.com/us... First, I smelled my drink then took a sip at it. OMG I suddenly turned half gay for a moment (haha). It tasted so lightly sweetened and smelled just like roses. The aroma was incredible. The Honey Dew Milk tea is great also but they added a little too much on the sugar. The food finally came and we started with the takoyaki http://www.yelp.com/us... The octopus balls were awesome. It's not too doughy and the octopus wasn't overcooked. The toast tasted better than the one in the Artesia location http://www.yelp.com/us... They didn't overload it with sugar.

It's hard to find parking in this location but you can always park in the plaza next door where 99 Ranch is located.

Service was good but sometimes they wander off and you have to flag them down.

It's worth my $4.25 for the Rose Milk Tea. Overall price for our orders was about $17.82. I thought that was pretty reasonable but to some peeps, it might be kinda steep.

They better remember my four eyed face stamped in their brain because I'll be coming there more often.
