I love tea station! A bit pricy but I LOVE IT. I love their honey green milk tea, taro milk tea, and coffee milk tea. I always ask for my milk teas to be less sweet. They always listen and give me what I want. Their popcorn chicken is pretty good, but a bit small for the price. There is a lot of room to sit, but I always come here late at night so seating is very difficult at times. I guess it doesn't help that I come with groups of more than 8 every time.

Parking is simple. It is in a big lot. :) Plenty of parking.

This is actually the only place that i'll go for tea. I'm a huge fan of tea, i prefer it as natural as possible, no syrups or whatever. I've tried their traditional teas, such as their fruit of prosperity tea. If you have the time to actually sit down, i highly recommend it. When they serve it to you, they 1st put a teapot with plain boiling water in it and right in front of you put a ball of tea in the boiling water. It opens up beautifully into a flower. Not only is it pretty, but it tastes delicious!

I once asked an employee if their rose & lavender milk teas are made from flowers or syrup. She smiled quite enthusiastically as she said "We use real flowers!" Now, for me that makes a huge difference, I am willing to pay good money to drink a rose or lavender milk tea that is made from the actual flowers. In my opinion, it's worth it.

The food isn't much to think of, I admit I haven't tried anything else outside of the snack menu. Their sweet brick toast is something to be remembered! Very tasty.

I'd defineately recommend tea station, i'd also recommend your trying their hot rose & lavender milk tea. SOOOOOOOOO good.

The Tea Station chain prides itself on consistency at every branch. When it comes to drinks, this location is no exception.

I find that Tea Station has the perfect texture when it comes to boba. (If you don't like boba with a bite, don't go here.) I've never found one of those horrible boba grape clumps that have become stuck in my straw at other tea houses. The boba isn't bland, but it's a bit too sweet for my taste. I easily remedy that by making sure I halve the level of sweetness whenever I order a drink. If you're craving something warm and creamy, I highly recommend the hot almond milk tea with boba (half sweet, of course!). If you're dining in, it's served to you in this really cute steaming jug with boba on the side. It's almost like eating boba soup!

Despite the deliciousness of the boba, I find that this location has some pretty mediocre service. Keep your order succinct and it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I am currently sitting inside this tea station with the boyfriend. The place is okay just like all the other tea stations but I think the staff here is a little slow...

I was super excited because I've been going to ten tens and they have a deal on their milky slushes right now and that's what I'm craving!! And sadly tea stations don't have them yet.

Anyway I ordered the macha green tea ice cream slushy and the boyfriend got the lavender milk tea hot. we ordered a shaved ice red bean with some extra grass jelly.

I got my drink and then they gave us the shaved ice which was wrong! They gave us some nasty looking strawberry shaved ice thing ew. Anyway we returned it as got the red bean shaves ice we ordered but it didn't come with any condensed milk. Uh wtf? Anyway the waitress was good and realized it right when we pointed out the issue with our food.

Not sure if the boyfriend's tea is good but I'm very unhappy!! :(

You HAVE TO try the MANGO BLACK TEA. It's heavenly, words cant even describe it.

Normally I don't review boba stores as common as Tea Station, but I just felt the need to really spread the word on how awesome the Mango Black Tea is. Because of this drink, I actually started ordering mango black tea everywhere else I went, and it's just not the same. I am not sure what type of secret ingredient they are putting in it but it's just so good! Either in cold and hot, I highly recommend it. My friends were hooked on this after I had them try a sip. Enough said.

Now moving on to pricing and food.
Unless you are completely starving here and MUST eat something, I do not recommend any of the food at Tea Station actually, especially this one in particular. It's not tasty at all, and WAY too pricy. I am not sure who has the decency to charge up to 10 dollars for a bowl of noodles that isn't even top notch in taste, but in my opinion, it's better off for you to get a drink and take that to a decent restaurant.

Big CON for Tea Station is that they have a minimum charge for it's customers. So if you come with a group of 4 people, everyone must order a drink basically, or your table needs to order up to a certain amount that would complement for the the fact that 1 or 2 people aren't getting anything. In my opinion, this makes it hard for teens to come hang out and just chat or play cards, especially because usually there's always one person that doesn't feel like ordering anything that day.

I am not sure who came up with this regulation, but I think the crowd would be increased if there wasn't such rule.

The service here is terrible. I've been here twice and both times they've forgotten to put in my order. When asked why I've waited forty minutes without food, their response "our kitchen messed but they're making it right now". Waiter's and waitresses are more interested in socializing with friends than taking care of customers. Owner is either clueless about his/her inept staff, or doesn't care

Like finding a secret treasure...Tea Station was a nice change to the usual Tap Ex. boba runs.

I got a large pot of Rose Milk Tea and my boyfriend got a large pot of Taro Milk Tea...both were very flavorful and sweet.

My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Curry Plate with soup, rice and veggies. I ordered the Noodle Bowl - broth was flavorful, garlic and ginger flavored, noodles were ramen styled and plentiful and veggies. Food seemed a little "expensive" for Asian cafes at $8+ dollars... but the servings were large.

However, service was a miss...no one ever came to check up on us and we got a tiny shot glass of water which was never refilled. Luckily, the large tea pot was truly LARGE!

Came here to study for two days, and I'm already getting sick of their overpriced foods and drinks here!!

But then again, it is the only place that is open late and is in the middle for me and my friend to meet up. My first day here, I got the taro smoothie with half sugar and the sweet butter toast. The taro smoothie is really good. I like how they gave it in like a big glass, but I really don't believe in paying $5.75 for a smoothie. Also, I should have gotten it full sugar because I like my shit really sweet. The butter toast is whatever. It's fluffy, sweet, and ok, but not worth 5 bucks for the size of one sliced wonder bread.

The second day I got the takoyaki and the taro smoothie. I learned my lesson and got my taro smoothie with 75% sugar which made it taste alot better without feeling overdosed on sugar. The takoyaki had so much mayo on it and the breading tasted weird. Being the fat ass that I am, I wanted to finish it, but omg the mayo was so overwhelming that I had a hard time trying to. Eventually I did finish the plate, but it was not worth the sick feeling of taking in the calories and guilt.

Not really a fan of this place. I hope I never have to go here to study again!

I've always wanted to try Tea Station, so when I found myself close by to one, I met up with a few friends to catch up at this location.

One of my pet peeves is bad customer service and I have mixed feelings about the customer service.  The workers definitely could not handle the workload because we were flailing our arms to order for a while but nobody was even looking in our direction.  Finally the manager ran over after our many failed attempts.  I felt bad for having the workers overworked but at the same time I hope they can hire additional workers so the customers aren't neglected.

We ordered a Jasmine green milk tea, a tapioca milk tea, and a Taiwanese sausage plate, which came out to about $15.  A bit overpriced, but we had fun chatting away and playing Monopoly deal for many hours, so it was worth it at the end!

I had the best Passion Fruit Green Tea (with lychee jelly).  It was not too much of anything: not too sweet, not too salty, not too sour, not too cold (ice).  Definitely satisfied my taste buds.

Not five stars because it's costly, haha.

Seems like plenty of seating areas.  Parking was pretty easy for me.

But keep in mind I went during midday Tuesday.

Their butter toasts are pretty good and thick, and always come warm and soft. I like that they have many choices of 'finger foods' though taste wise may not necessarily go with what tea you get. No worries--you can just get  a cup of tea to try out since they have two sizes on the hot teas, the small cup or pot (about 3cup fulls). This way, you can try several. (The barley milk is very good). For the traditional tea drinkers, they do have pu-erh, aged oolong and king's tea here. This is a chinese establishment and so doesn't have the high end Japanese green teas.

The interior is very warm and inviting with booths and soft lighting. They don't seem to mind the students who hang out for long periods studying/reading here since I've come across the same solitary ones in corners with their books open on the table. (Thank God I'm over that period of my life). When I haven't had time to sit and eat or just going solo, I've ordered their boba drinks to go. The honey dew snow ice is flavorful, smooth and thick. I always add boba of course. The iced milk tea seems to be weak though compared to Milk+Honey (west of South St. some more). Go give it a try, not very many tea houses, unfortunately, in the Cerritos area. Pretty surprising with the big asian population present.

Just came here yesterday, and I was satisfied with my boba milk tea. I ordered the honey milk tea, and I thought maybe the honey made the drink a bit too sweet. I tried my friend's regular tapioca milk tea, and I found that to be better and less sweet. There are many milk teas to choose from, and I'll be coming back here from time to time to try the others.

Oh, and we got free samples of different teas, so that was really nice! The prices for the drinks may be a little too much, but you actually get a good amount for the medium-sized milk teas. But still worth it for the flavor!

    Very good tea, indeed.

In general, I am a fan of the Tea Station / Ten Ren / Cha for Tea franchise because the quality and flavor of their drinks. The drinks are more expensive than those at competing boba shops because they use good quality tea and ingredients in their drinks. The milk tea and flavored teas actually have the taste of green or black tea with milk or syrup/powder, where as most other places usually just taste like water, milk, and powder (and often in disproportionate ratios).  This is probably part of the reason why the drinks are a little bit more expensive than other places.

My favorite is the green milk tea with boba (hot or cold is great). The almond tea is also a good choice but sometimes doesn't have enough almond flavor. The fruit teas and smoothies are also really good and tasty - mango is my favorite. People complain that they make their drinks too sweet so they have made several levels of sweetness that each drink can be made with.

Although I enjoy the drinks, I think the boba is just average. Most of the time the boba in my drinks are cold (meaning it's been sitting out for a while). The boba itself is a little sweet but otherwise doesn't have much flavor to it. It's often a little too chewy (perhaps because its been sitting out) but never hard or stale.

I enjoy this particular teastation as a place to order to go because the to go service is quick and the servers are really nice. However, the sit in experience is completely different. Teastations are awkward because it is half a togo boba shop and half a restuarant, without a clear distinction between the two. It doesn't really function as a regular restaurant where waiters constantly are walking around and waiting. Instead, the servers usually just stick around the bar area serving both the togo customers and the sit in customers and the dine in customers as they see it. The dine in service is consequently slow, especially at a large location like this.

This teastation is particularly slow. I've eaten here a couple times and I used to study for my MCATs here a lot (because its open late). Although I enjoy the late hours, free internet, and good drinks, I hate the slow service. It takes a really long time to flag a worker down, especially if they are standing around all the way across the place and not really paying attention. Once, I told an employee where I was going to sit, sat down, and studied 25 minutes without anybody coming up to me to give me a menu or ask what I wanted. When I finally decided to get someone's attention, the waitress said "Oh, you haven't been helped yet?" No, I'm just a hobo that's been sitting in your restaurant for the past half an hour freeloading off your free internet.

All in all, this place is good because its open late, has great drinks, free wifi, and quick to go service. However, the service for the sit in customers is horrendously slow and inattentive. I know a few people hate the service but I am willing to put up for it for table space, a good drink, and free wifi to study with.

It's a good place to get a tea fix. It's got a huge selection of teas and tea based beverages to choose from. It also has a good sized menu for this type of business. The place is huge (so it's great for larger parties) and very clean. The service is also pretty good, a lot better than Guppies across the street.

Tried the iced Honey Green Milk Tea w/egg pudding and it was good, but definitely not $6-good!

The place looks small from the outside but is actually quite large w/plenty of seating inside & some seats outside.

Remembered everyone saying on Yelp that their drinks are too sweet, so I ordered it with 3/4 the sugar. I ended up regretting it. I have a huge sweet tooth!

I also ordered the sweet butter toast and though it was good, I still feel like it was overpriced.

They have free wifi but NO outlets, I guess so you won't overstay your welcome. Their loss though, I probably would've ordered another one of their pricey dranks. Or probably not.

So I needed a place to show my friend from Chicago why 'Bubble Tea' should be called "boba". What better place than to drag her to a place where the walls are covered by Chinese writings on the wall.

    FOOD QUALITY:
Tea itself was a little weaker than other branches, but I couldn't really taste the richness or creaminess of the milk that I always admire Tea Station for. What irks me here is that the prices here is a dollar higher than all the branches in Alhambra/Monterey Park. So for $4.50+ for a regular sized drink is.... unacceptable.

    SERVICE:
Was decent -- asked once on how things were but a little difficult to flag down waiters even though the entire restaurant is an open area.

    ENVIRONMENT:
Very spacious and can get pretty loud. It's a thing to be expected so I don't mind...except when you have the occasional high-pitched, nasally girl voice there but won't notice until one of your friends point out the voice and then the rest of your ears just ring whenever that voice squeaks out.

Overall, I would give this place a four stars like other Tea Stations but the price here doesn't make it worth the quality. But if you live here... then I guess you have no choice!

Tea Station is quite different then other Boba Place. They are more expensive and my goodness so berry beryy Sweet. However You can customize how sweet you want your drink

    There is the:
    100% Full Sugar Diabetic Level
75% Still Too Sweet Pre-Diabetic Level
50% Just the Right amount of Sweetness Level
25% For those not into the sugary content but more into the taste of the Tea Level
0% AHHHH SUGAR Me No Like Level

    Drinks:
Taro Snow Ice- Most Popular Drink order here is pretty decent but remember get 50% sugar Level only, Your Liver will thank you later.

Almond Milk Tea- I believe cha for tea has better almond milk Tea

House Iced Coffee- Weak caffeine Content and wont make it stronger because they can't? Noobs

Earl Grey Milk Tea- Was Decent and you can really taste the Earl Grey.

    The Snacks here sucks:
Butter Toast- is dry and lack taste compare to guppies
Fried Spicy Chicken- Was bland and spicy my butt its just chili flakes WEAKKK

Workers don't speak much English but they are very attentive and nice. Overall if they have outlets for laptops and a better snack menu I would've gave them 4 stars

Friend and I got it To-Go.

I got a Passion Fruit Green Tea with boba. And so far, it's one of the best teas I've ever tried. Checked out other places, not as great. Especially any locals in Fullerton.

They give you the option of having an amount of sugar into your beverage. Either regular (standard), half, 3/4 or no sugar (bitter, duh). Just in case you wanted to watch how much you consume.

It's pricey, though. Staff was fobby, but polite and courteous. It was a brief wait to get our drinks - the usual.

Just basing my review on my drink, I loved it.

When I'm craving boba and I'm in Cerritos, this is always the place I go to. Their boba is fresh and they take their time making their drinks. Also, a plus is that you get to tell them how sweet you want your drinks. I prefer to not have my drinks full of sugar, so I always get the green milk tea with half sugar. Definitely check this place out, hopefully one day I can eat a meal there.

    Sweet butter toast
    Popcorn chicken
    Almond Milk Tea

    Total:  $15

    Yep.

Sweet butter toast was good--Two thick slices of great tasting bread held together by butter.  It's not toasted as in crunchy but there's this thin layer of heated/toasted butter that surrounds the outside.

Popcorn chicken-I asked for mild--it's somewhat lacking in flavor.  I usually ask for mildly spicy popcorn chicken anywhere I go so I can tell how it tastes like without the help of the spicy hotness.

Almond Milk Tea--too sweet.  Now I like me a milk tea any day but this one was way too fragrant and sweet.  I had two sips and I couldn't go back to it.

I'd go back for the toast and ask if they have any bitter tasting tea flavors.

**This place is situated in the plaza where Gerry's Grill and Sweetee Thai is located.  It's hidden in the right side and it cannot be seen from the street except if you actually took a little tour of the plaza.  The place is large and quaint, if that makes sense.  I love the little tea cups they have for sale $25-$400.

It's modern and run by teenagers who seem to be overly serious about their jobs.  They had a group of obnoxious teenage girls who play softball or soccer or something like that slurping up their boba drinks and laughing it up at 11:30 in the morning.

Personally, I don't find anything amusing before 12.

I left the workers with a sense of anxiety in their faces as they try to figure out how to tell their obnoxious customers to shut the freak up.  Hahaha.  Sorry!

I always feel so sophisticated when I drink delicious tea out of a cute ceramic tea pot. =)

Tea station is well on it's way to becoming my tea spot of choice! Love that it's open late, love that they serve a wide variety of teas and snacks, and LOVE that they use tea pots!

My friends and I came to hangout on a weeknight after stuffing our faces with KBBQ. Ample amounts of seating inside and out. We chose to sit outside near the entrance.

My friend and I shared the pinenut tea because we were curious about the flavor. The waitress said that the taro, the mixed fruit tea and the green milk tea were the most popular. Overall, the tea was good. Didn't have too much of a nutty flavor, But it wasn't too sweet, which I liked. but it came with a small cup of pinenuts on the side that we could add to the tea. The nuts were a bit soft. The waitress said that they grind/cook the pinenuts every morning, so it should be really fresh. The teapot was definitely big enough for two people to share. I also tried my bf's almond tea. It was pretty good too!

We all shared the sweet butter toast. It was really delicious! It tasted buttery with a hint of coconut. I was a little wary at first of ordering it. I'm not a fan of the brick toast at Guppys, because it just tasted like unflavored toast on the inside! The sweet butter toast here is made a bit better, so it the flavor actually seeps inside. I liked!

Service was pretty good. The waitress was really helpful. You may have to flag them down if you sit on the outside because they tend to forget to take your order. After we placed our orders though, service was a bit more consistent.

Anyways, I'll definitely be back to try more teas! This place is awesome!

Let me tell you something about this place. When you first walk inside this tea station, the atmosphere is great. They also have this automatic sensor when you walk in it says "Welcome" and when you leave it says "Good bye".
Anyways, my review is mainly on the boba drinks and not the food. Dang was it freaking expensive! $4 for any kind of drink! $1 if you wanted boba! Still, I have to say that they make the best drink but for the money.. I think this will be my first and last.

If you want save money, go to Lollicup, Dolphin Bay, or even Guppy down the street.

ok, so this place is expensive for taiwanese snacks and drinks, BUT they have the best honey milk tea. and i love honey milk tea. no where makes it like this place, except in taiwan of course! haha, but this is as good as it gets. and the boba isn't that sweet, and perfectly chewy!

the food is ok, not the best taiwanese food, but it's good to go for a small snack and small get together with a friend or two.

the service is good too, and it's an open space so you can just wave your hand and they'll tend to you quickly!

they're always serving samples of tea and they're usually all really good. haha. it ain't a tea station without all the different types of tea right? :)

Who says men can't try Lavender Beauty Tea!

It wasn't my first choice.... but man a tea that can make you beautiful was too good to pass up on! haha!

To my surprise... it was pretty legit and not too sweet! It had a light taste to it which I really like! I'm not a fan of sweet drinks and this one being not too sweet and tasty was a winner in my book.

Whenever I am in the Cerritos area and in the need for a boba fix I always stop by here. Service here is always very friendly compared to the Irvine location.

I always get the Thai Tea with boba here or sometimes I get the Jasmin Milk tea. Both are very good. If you're a coffee lover like I am I recommend trying the Coffee milk tea, very good!!!

Boba here is very good. It has very good texture. Its a bit pricey here compared to other boba places. Also, I believe it is cash only here with a $10 minimum.

This TS location seems to have more available seating. I frequent this one the 2nd most often of all of the locations. They greet you right when you walk in and are usually fast with service. Only once did I have to wait 15m for my boba drink, but that was an isolated occasion. Easy to find parking. Located in a newer shopping center across from Lamps Plus. Drinks made fine.

Food here is hit or miss.  I really enjoy the spicy dumplings and sweet milk and regular butter toast.  I had the beef stew tea noodles and it was pretty bland...had to ask for salt and hot sauce.  My bf got the curry chicken and it was decent...soup was blah.  So like I said hit or miss.

The tea is pretty great.  I always ask for half or 3/4 sugar bc it can get pretty sweet sometimes.  You can also ask for without boba bubbles.  My favorite is the mixed fruit tea...hot or cold.  It is SOOO good and it has fruit in it!  Honey tea is good too.  I've also had the taro which was good but for those with a sweet tooth.

    I come here A LOT.

There is absolutely no consistency here, which is fine with me. I like trying new things but whoever I come here with comes out loving tea station or not enjoying it at all.

Things I enjoy: Coffee Milk Tea. Honeydew Milk Tea (Hot).

Don't enjoy: 10 dollar minimum for card. Sometimes they let you, sometimes they don't. It gets pretty annoying because if you go with one other person, you can't pay with card. You have to buy three drinks among the two of you and that just doesn't really make sense.

The food looks good here, but I'm pretty scared to try it. Plus they are ridiculously expensive.

This place is pretty pricey for Milk Tea but it's good so I keep coming back.

Food is ok. The teas are ok, too.
Customer service should always be every business' priority and tea station lacks that. If you're Asian that speaks Mandarin, you're lucky... If not, you're better off else where. I usually order food to go here, but the last time my friend and I came here for a mid-afternoon snack was just unacceptable! I'm sorry but Christy, you suck. Fix your attitude... I don't know if you were having a rough (slow) day, you were out of it/distracted for some reason or just way too excited to go home..

I have now been to 3 locations and this by far is the best in terms of customer service.  They are all really helpful and polite.  When you are paying this insane amount for a drink (more than starbucks) I expect you to a) be asked how you like your drink and b) for them to be helpful in choosing your drink.

What keeps us coming to the Tea Station franchise is my husband loves a particular white peach oolong tea.  My fault I got him hooked, so I will get their boba milk tea (the balls are a nice texture, not gooey but hard...hmm that sounded kinda wrong).

really enjoyed the shaved ice (red bean-- sweet enough that you may not need the condensed milk! with good bean texture, not too mushy or carby; plum and grass jelly, a nostalgic treat) and the grass jelly hot soup. i would pass on the boba, and food looked just okay. pricing is fair, but not a bargain.

props for a large menu, ample seating, and late hours (although, like me, you might stand out if you're over 25 and hanging out here around midnight). waitress was nice, although she didn't speak chinese which was a bummer for my in-laws.

would come here again, as a more sophisticated alternative to guppy's across the street, for tea and shaved ice.

    Boba! Boba! Boba!

My girlfriend when she has the crave always chooses to go here. The service is pretty quick and they have a great variety of drinks.

I love the lavender milk tea here on cold days...it makes you feel oh so warm inside. Along with that I always recommend the butter toast. I do not know what type of peanut butter they put, but it must contain some drug, because it just tastes so frikin good.

There's always a crowd here, socializing, talking and such, but it's a tea house what do you expect. It's great for meeting up with friends, or just settling down for a nice hot cup of tea with boba.

In summer they serve all the snow bubbles, or cold teas which make it a great alternative to ice cream.

Like I said before Boba! Boba! Boba!

Some of my friends wanted to go here, so I decided to give it another shot. I am SO HAPPY that I did because I ordered the most delicious tasting Jasmine green tea ever. It was so fragrant and refreshing. To the point where I want to buy a canister of whatever tea they used to make my drink. This one knocks their green milk tea out of the water! Pricing is still a problem for me, but I will gladly splurge on a cup once in a while.

Their drinks are yummy, but a littler more expensive than other places. However, I find it cute how they put it in those mugs instead of regular glasses. The only thing I hate so much bout this place is the long wait. They take awhile to come to you when you want to order, so you have to flag them down & plus it takes forever to get your drink. They bring it out one by one. Overall, still a good place to go & it's not a cramped up inside unlike other boba places.

Ordered a hot almond milk tea with boba and the bf ordered an iced green milk tea. The almond milk tea wasn't bad, but lacking a bit of sweetness. On the other hand, the green milk tea was too sweet. I'll order something else next time I come here.

I really liked the decor of this place. You can only sit if you're dining-in though. Everything on their menu is infused with tea flavors somehow, so I'd definitely like to try their entrees sometime.
