TC's is awesome!...when you're 21. After your first year of legal drinking in a bar, the allure of this hole in the wall wears off. Or at least it should. Anyway, this is a very basic townie bar. You'll find people in their early 20s and people in their late 50s. I used to be a regular when I lived in Oak Lawn and had just turned 21. It was like so cool! Miller Lite pitchers for $5 on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This was top shelf compared to the Keystone and Ice House days of college. Good place to watch a game. They have a bunch of TVs on the wall. When the Blackhawks were in the playoffs 2 years ago, the bar was giving out free shots for each Hawks goal. Thanks for the 5 goal game, Hawks!

When the alcohol starts kicking in, turn to the kitchen where they have the yummiest nachos for your post-drink munchies. Wednesday and Saturday nights were also karaoke nights hosted by Kevin, the coolest DJ in all the land. He knows his music and has a good level of sarcasm going on. And he looks like Chris Daughtry (but don't tell him that). It's a grand ol' time hearing drunk bitches sing to Ke$ha or whoever is the cool pop chick at the time. The old men sing the classics and the boys sing to their favorite alt rock dude. And when Bon Jovi comes on, everyone sings "Livin' on a Prayer" like they're at the freaking concert. Place shuts down around 1:30am which is good because then you can go get some drunk food at White Castle or El Gallo.

As I got older and refined my beer pallet and stopped spilling beer on the floor and laughing about it, this place just didn't do it for me anymore but I'll always have my memories.

Most bathroom stalls I have ever been in don't smell nearly as much like urine and stale beer as the entire TC Sports Pub.  Last night (9/11) I went there on my own mini-pub crawl to explore my new neighborhood.  The scary thing was that nobody else there seemed to notice.  Everyone in the bar seemed like a regular who all must have just gotten used to that smell.  I even looked around to see if I was sitting right near the bathroom and it was at least 20 yards away.  In fact, when I went in to use it surprisingly the bathroom didn't smell as bad as the rest of the bar.
For you my readers I stayed long enough to choke down one of their $1 Old Styles they have on tap "all day every day".  Others had told me that it attracts a younger crowd, which is true.  I saw a pair of duchebags in their early 20's with their baseball hats on sideways apparently watching some kind of Youtube video on their Iphone.  The rest of the crowd looked just as laughable.  There was no pool table and very few TVs to be considered a "sports bar".  There was a dart board, but I did not see a juke box.  The stench became so overpowering that I just chugged the beer and walked out.
If you are in the area I much prefer Tailgators or Molly Maguires.

Not a bad place to watch games with their variety of television sets. The sets are up close to the bar which is a good thing. there are mant video poker machines and plenty of seating in this bar. It does not have much parking though and is mostly for locals.

I went here last night to watch the Bulls-Hawks playoff game (epic performance by our MVP D.Rose!!!!). I don't drink, so I can't comment on alcohol selections.

I was pleased that you were able to hear the game instead of music being played over the broadcast. There was a band setting up, but they didn't play music until after the game ended. Lots of TVs everywhere. Seating consists of long tables with stools (a bit uncomfortable at times if you are accustomed to chair backs). I was fearful--at first--of being a minority woman going here alone. However, once I was inside, I felt fine. I even had conversations with another group that was there to enjoy the game. Overall, it was a good experience to watch a game.

NOTE: If you like UV Bombs, they give away shots of them after every quarter the Bulls have the lead.

On a weekend night, you can see patrons wearing Slipknot, Disturbed, Insane Clown Posse or Kenny Chesney tshirts.

I absolutely love this little sports bar.  Incredible atmosphere for big games, be they Hawks, Bulls, Sox, or Bears.  It's a modest, primarily beer, bar, but it's got a lot of TV's and they actually play the SOUND of the games you're trying to watch.  No crappy music played over the games.

Only drawback is when they do Karaoke night, lotta knuckleheads.

I'm pretty fond of this corner bar. I used to go there a lot right when I got out of college. The staff is really attentive and nice. You can usually find parking. The bar food is pretty reasonably priced as well as good. I'd say they have an average selection of drinks, but they too are reasonably priced. There are a ton of tvs in the place, a juke box and Karaoke on certain nights, which is always entertaining to watch! It has a neighborhood feel to it, which makes it cozy.
