Awesome place for smoothies, but a horrible place for any tastey food. Their greenware is fantastic, but their wraps and pasta salads are smothered with mayonnaise and lack any flavor whatsoever.

Good smoothies!  Love their soft-serve too.

Good stuff for a decent price.

Tasty and healthy items available too.

I miss my college lunches here....:-P

Taza Smoothies and Wraps is one of my favorite places during those tough days on-campus.  It's the place to visit to get away from the crowds, and it's small and hidden location is the best place to just sit on a table and do your business without tons of people walking by you at the stroke of every hour.

Taza has all the basics like the Station Cafe and Cafe Rosso when it comes to all the essentials.  They have coffee, specialty drinks, chips, cookies, and bagels.

What makes this place stand out is that they offer tasty and healthy wraps, and you get to watch them make it (other than the hidden view of cooking at Rosso).  They also make fruity smoothies, with all the natural goodness to keep you healthy and get your dose of fruit.

The folks that work there enjoy playing a lot of music on the system you can hear outside, but it does not bother me that much.  What makes it good is that it is not busy during breakfast time, and there are plenty of seats.

I went to SFSU as an upper division transfer.  Graduated last May.  And now I'm back for a Master's in Developmental Psych, which by the way is equivalent to research hell.  But whatever, I'll get through the excessive workloads.

Anyways, there isn't much in the culinary department in terms of delish food to eat.  Nasty mexi food, mediocre sandwiches [unless you head down to Subway near the dorms] or some wanna be Chinese food.  But alas over the horizon, Taza wraps serves as the Mecca for good healthy food.

Fresh healthy wraps in an array of choices.

Thai Chicken, Teriyaki Salmon, Hummus Avocado, Lamb Swarma, so many fabulous choices.
On tortillas like Spinach, Tomato, Whole Wheat and the list goes on.

They take MC and Visa and it's the only place on campus where I actually look forward to eating at when I have to eat at state after a long morning [and before an even longer afternoon ahead] of classes, research, reading and statistics.

Oh the joys of research psychology.  At least my work involves kids.

One of the hidden gems of SFSU's food options. Located behind the Student Services building, this place is scarcely crowded. They offer a wide variety of juices & wraps, gourmet burritos & toasted bagel sandwiches (same bagel sandwich selection as the Station Cafe).

It's definitely worth the trek over for those times when the Cesar Chavez Student Center is teeming with hungry students & the lines are out of control.
