Q:
Tellers restaurant have valet parking?
A:
Yes. It's free (don't forget to tip) and they have their own parking lot so it's super simple and a nice amenity since parking in that area is ridiculous.

Taylor's is a great experience.
Staff are great; drinks are good and the food is delicious.
Great place for cocktails as well as reasonably priced steaks.
Even have an inexpensive valet!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Oct 29, 2023Previous reviewDelicious food, great old school ambience and good service!
I've been dining there for years and it's one of my local favorites! - Sergio L Y.Rancho Mirage, CA5914260Apr 10, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
I really wanted to give this place "a 5 star" review, but....... There is a but.
It's an old school steak house with decadent 1950s decor. We had bacon wrapped scallops, wedge salad and Tuesday night special the filet mignon twins. Every dish was nice cooked with great flavor.
The biggest problem of the night was the service. Our server was rushing everything and running around like a chicken without a head.
It didn't seem like they were short staffed. Maybe the management never gives him a proper training on how to wait tables. It was our first time at this restaurant, and the service didn't leave a good impression.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 29343109Apr 5, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
The jumbo shrimps were delicious. French onion soup was also good.
Could have had better service - the server forgot some of our requests. We had to ask several times for certain things. Also she wouldn't come for long periods of time.
We were seated upstairs - I wish we sat in the first floor dining room. It seems more lively. Upstairs is smaller, quiet, and more private.
The vibe is more casual - like a nice weekday dinner.
Parking is valet but it was full when we got there. We were able to find street parking easily though.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 26, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
The space is nice and cozy and gives old school steakhouse vibes with the red leather rounded booths.
They offer bread to start. The bread seemed old, cold and crusty. If they warmed it up a bit, maybe that would've helped, but the bread was not worth the carbs. We passed.
We started with the French onion soup and Caesar salad. The soup was good. Nothing extra special, but I enjoyed it. The salad had too much dressing on it for my taste, but it was OK. We also got a side of Frech fries - not the best, wouldn't recommend.
We then shared the filet with grilled onions. The streak was good and the onions were a nice touch. The meat was tender and flavorful. Definitely not the "best" steak in LA, but it was good.
We also ordered drinks. The sidecar and a sazerac. We had to have them remake the sazerac because it was watered down (not supposed to shake a sazerac!) the sidecar was OK.
We passed on dessert. They bring a tray around showing what is available, but nothing looked particularly appealing.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
Overall, it's a cute place, but not the best steakhouse in LA. I prefer Musso & Franks or Dear Johns.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Mar 9, 2024Seated via Yelp Reservations
First time trying a steakhouse in LA and I was definitely blown away. Despite how dark it was inside, as there was barely any lighting, the food was bombastic.
For appetizer, we had the London broil and escargot. The London broil was good especially with the horseradish, but the meat was slightly chewy. The escargot was perfect, but it is an acquired taste. For our entrees, we had the Porterhouse and Dinner Cut with a side of mash potatoes. All steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly, but I wish there was a sauce. Mash potatoes were good, but nothing crazy.
Overall, I highly recommend Taylor's if you are looking for good steaks that aren't super overpriced.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 497240Feb 28, 2024
Easy non free parking lot & street parking.
Super duper dark af Inside. Like if you wanna reapply lipgloss you'll need your phone light.
Professional & hospitable staff.
Classic steakhouse food & drink.
Table bread very boring & not worth the carbs.
I ordered scallops which were yummy but too greasy for my healthy palette.
His steak was yummy & perfectly cooked.
French onion soup delish!
French martini yummy.
Clean inviting bathroom.
Can't opine on price as I didn't pay ;)
Will return & recommend!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 1 - Feb 27, 20241 check-in
Amazing. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for years and I finally had my chance with two others friends after work. It's one of the oldest steak houses in LA. It's did not disappoint too. It's like going back I time with the wood panel a red leather booths and chairs, which really created a crozier atmosphere. Our server was super nice and attentive. The food was delicious and my steak was good at the right temperature just the way I liked it too. I will go again.
The is valet parking so you won't have to worry but street parking is near too.
Hands down it's one of the best steakhouses I've been to in a long time.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 27, 2024
Taylor's have been around forever in koreatown. I don't frequent it as often as I should to be honest but when I do, the food is always delicious and service is always up to standard. Get the prime rib, you can't go wrong with it and it's very good!

Taylor's Steakhouse is old school and established in 1953. Even older style paintings with gold carved frames grace the walls harking to the 19th century.
Horseshoe booths, tables with comfortable chairs on castors. Room was full but surprisingly, conversation without shouting was possible possibly due to accoustics & a more genteel clientele.
0) Bread here is unexceptional. Leathery crust, soft bread, no pleasant yeastiness.
1) TAYLOR'S FAMOUS HAND CARVED LONDON BROIL Marinated Prime Sirloin - Au Jus and Creamed Horseradish: Tried it as an appetizer. Really flavourfully memorable.
3 strips of medium rare, lean, beefy meat flavoured & rested in an olive oil, possibly sweet sour aceto balsamico, thyme, rosemary herb mix. Tender at the same time with a good chaw. The flaming added extra meaty texture.
2) French Onion Soup: Strong beef stock, caramelized onions, bit of melted cheese, croûtons. Good classic flavour.
3) THE CULOTTE - U.S.D.A. PRIME The most tender cut of the Top Sirloin. Only two cuts per Steer which enticed me with its rarity. Interestingly, culotte in French means panties or rump for those inclined to fetishes.
Thick slice, rose red, medium rare, tender with a bit of chaw but with more fattiness. Surface seems brushed by an herbed marinade sauce and is crisscrossed with dark grill marks.
3a) Sauce Béarnaise: Tarragon herbed, acidic vinegar, egg yolk & butter, thickened emulsion. Unfortunately, the tarragon seems dried from a bottle and not fresh which would have given a more fresh, sparkling green herbal liveliness.
However, tarragon goes into hibernation in winter so fresh tarragon may not be locally available. Good execution under the circumstances.
3b) Side of French fries seems frozen without much earthy, potato flavours. Frying was good as each piece was crisp with a creamy interior.
1-3a) Mont Pellier, Cabernet Savignon, California 2018: Acceptable wine for the price. Dark fruits, bit oak, light tannins & acidity all balance out, but in an attenuated manner.
4) Key Lime Pie: Graham cracker crust, looser, moist, puréed lime perfumed, cheese cake-like, gelatine filling. Sweet yet tart, good ending to a great, filling meal.
Our waitress was understatedly friendly, and explained the menu well. Good place for "affordable" steak in a pleasant mid 20th century atmosphere. 4 starsHelpful 11Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 1 - Jan 25, 2024
Anniversary dinner. We like steak, so why not try one of the oldest steak houses in LA.
Check in was a little wonky, but we were eventually seated in the upstairs dinning room. The booth were were sat in was rough. The flooring below us was covered with food and spilled drinks from the patrons before. I didn't enjoy feeling my shoes slid around in mystery liquid. We just hoped it would dry quickly.
Service was....slow? I don't know, it just seemed off but maybe it had to do with the large party seated in the center of the dinning room. They definitely needed a bit of server attention.
The food though, that was all very good. We started with the bacon wrapped scallops and I think I could have just eaten those all night long. They were huge, wrapped in bacon and cooked perfectly. I appreciated that they were able to get the bacon crisp and not overcook the scallops. We drenched them in the accompany cream sauce and savored every bite.
I had the Saturday special, rack of lamb, while my husband went with the cullote steak. We also had a side of creamed spinach, bernaise and bordelaise sauce. We really enjoyed all of our food, it was simple, well seasoned and tasty.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1
