Thanks so much Taylor's Lace for doing such a great job on customizing my wedding dress! The fit was fantastic, and I received so many compliments on the dress. I searched through a number of bridal salons, from the hole-in-the-wall to ones featured on TV, and I am glad I decided to go with Taylor's Lace. Working with Debora, from dress selection to customization, was such a pleasure. I really appreciated her guidance, patience, professionalism and flexibility throughout the whole process.
I do want to highlight one example as a testament to Debora's excellent customer service -- I contemplated adding lilac details all over my ivory gown. Debora gently encouraged me to think it over carefully, but went ahead and bought the fabric I wanted at my request. I would bet that any other tailor would merely focus on profit and not care much for what the outcome would be. Not Debora. She is so considerate and appropriate - she would never give unsolicited opinions. I really pushed her to tell me her professional opinion on what she thought would be more beautiful - my dress with the added customization or not. To my surprise, she replied, "As is, the dress is already so elegant and I personally would not add any more to it. However, the choice is ultimately yours and if your heart says to add color to it, I will make it happen and it will look great." Wow, right? Where can you get that kind of honesty nowadays? I appreciated her honesty and listened to her (and my whole family's) advice and kept the dress as is.
If you want to work with an honest tailor who features beautiful dresses in her shop and who is wonderful at her craft, you should definitely check out this bridal salon! -

This is a small shop tucked in the corner of a shopping center. I was pleased to find a bridal salon in the area and one with such great service. I bought my bridesmaids dresses from here and had my wedding gown altered here. Both Evelyn and Debora were very pleasant to work with. I only spoke with Evelyn on the phone, but she was always great about explaining things. Debora did the alteration on my dress as well as my bridesmaid's dress and all of it was done quickly. It took me about 10 days to finish alterations, but I only needed a simple hem and bustle. The alteration rate here was also more competitive than where I had purchased my gown from.
The store also offers a selection of bridesmaids dresses to choose from and if you need one in a hurry, you might be able to buy off rack. You can also find a small selection of jewelry and hair pieces.
You do need an appointment before you come. I walked in my first time just to inquire about wedding gowns and felt out of place; Debora was nice about it and still helped me out, but she did strongly recommend making an appointment. They also do custom dresses here, so if you see a style you like from one dress and a style from another that you want to mesh, she can make it happen. I can't believe there are no reviews here for Taylor's Lace. The ladies here are great. Very helpful and take their time with each customer. You are never rushed out the door! They have many options to choose from and if you don't see what you like, they also have catalogs.

Taylor's Lace offers you a special selection of retail labels, antique jewelry, dyeable shoes, exquisite veil lines, custom gowns and alteration services. "Semi-Custom Gowns" or retail gowns to which you add embellishment to personalize it just for you are also available. Foundation garments are coming soon.

Established in 2004
Debora's goal in opening Taylor's Lace Bridal Salon was to custom-make bridal gowns with a selection of custom embroidery and beading designs. She wanted to provide a welcoming, comfortable and relaxing environment in which she could meet the criteria of the bride's dream gown. Debora says, "I have always loved seeing a bride's reaction to putting together the perfect look for her wedding day. I remember the comment of a bride after trying on her gown. She said: 'I will not take it off. I will just cook dinner with my gown on.' Recently, I offered her to buy the gown back, simply because I thought she might no longer want it. Her reply was that the gown was a little girl's dream come true. This experience was the beginning for my journey to create a company with a life long dream."
