I give it 3.5 stars overall since it can be a little uneven at times, and some of the items are just plain dull. However, I like to eat here on occasion, and certain things are really good (duck, honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp and the Szechuan chicken). I will also say that I have never been disappointed that I ate there, but only disappointed with the occasional dish!
Price is very reasonable, and I have never experienced any digestive distress from their food!! Service is friendly too.

I like it here. The food is pretty good. My mom likes their soup selections. Weekends is pretty busy. Usually consistant.
1 star for the ice-cream~ 1 star for the shrimp.
The service was so so, waitress never fill up all empty tea pot.
The selections were so limit.... Nothing much to choose from.
The bathroom was so nasty ~_~
They even charged $1.43 for a pot of tea.....
Horrible Restaurant......... Never go back again!!!!!!!!!!!
TASTE OF CHINA
Better yet a friendly atmosphere with the host greeting you with a smile. The waittress and waiters are always on their toes and waiting for you to signal them. They greet you and take your drink order. IF you need chop sticks this is the time to ask the smiling employee for them.
The food is out of this world. Nothing is old. I enjoy watching the little food lady. She keeps everything comingout of the kitchen, turns the food every time she passes to keep it moist under those lights.
Sushi is somewhat a disappointment. With only six types out on the dessert counter. The calms are tiny but flavorful. The only down side is that you have no crab legs that are great. Not salted and refried. I'm not sure if you eat those or pick at them. I still have to figure out if the cheese in the mussels is a trade mark with them.
The first island holds egg rolls, french fries, cheese wontons of sort, chicken that has been tempura and you get to pour the amount of sweet and sour sauce on it. They keep the dim sum there and soups also on that island.
The next two islands holds the noraml chinese varies dishes from Chow Mein to Gung Pao Chicken. Most of yor time is spent there if you love chinese food.
The next island holds what you might want for salads. I have never seen anyone take any Kim Chee though. The choice of salad dressing is very limited. Extremely so.
The dessert island, sushi bar and fruit comes next with the enticing thought of jello.
The last island holds the baking goods as cookies and cakes. NOT TO Mention ICE CREAM.
What would I recommend? All of it. The Mongolian BBQ is good. Pick a few things and let the chef season it. Don't forget the big heaping spoon full of garlic.
The service is great. Not too many plates stack without someone coming around. The drinks are regularly refilled. I have a thing about napkins and they don't mind giving me extra ones. ( smiling)
The price is good, the location is good, (although watch that street light. IF you are turning left to get back on Howe. You might be there five minutes) and I enjoy the service.
Have a good time there and you will be please you only paid eight dollars or so for lunch.

Well, the selection at this place is amazing. It's like they took every single items ever served at any sort of buffet and combined them all, resulting in a multitude of seafood, sushi, meat, veggie stuff, standard fast food American fare, Mongolian BBQ and lots of deserts.
The good points:
The price: $6.50 for lunch and I think $8.50 for dinner.
The selection: As I mentioned above, it's all you can think of and more.
Some stuff tastes great: Lots of items that look tasty and are.
Good parking, easy location, flexible hours.
The not so good points:
Some of the food just doesn't taste like much: you can tell it's the bottom of the barrel byproduct of something a little better.
Some of the food was cold: which doesn't make sense with heated trays but there you go.
We both had mildly upset stomachs after eating there, though I'll admit this might be due more to the mixing of many strange foods then to anything else.
Overall I'd give this place a 3 1/2. At least of the buffet scale. It just didn't have the friendly atmosphere that Royal Dragon in Grass Valley has and the place just wasn't quite as clean. That's not to say it was dirty, but it felt a little...threadbare?
If you're looking for a buffet and you're in the area it's worth a look. It just seems like they have some room for improvement.
