1 review for Taste of China Express
Not so good. My husband and I first went to eat there shortly after they opened and we were disappointed with the experience. The owner was very friendly and enthusiastic about the offerings... he promised that the specific selections we made would be the best we ever had. Unfortunately, far from it.
That said, the service wasn't too bad (given, we were the only people there) but the Crab Rangoon had very little crab or cream cheese in it, and my tofu/vegetarian Cantonese was very bland and tasteless. These are dishes we order elsewhere very regularly and have even had better at the buffet down the street.
They also have a strange menu where some things are ready to go (for the drive thru) but then many others are not. Even to get an egg roll, you would need to order and then wait in the parking lot for ten minutes for someone to bring it out to you. I've never felt well after eating one.
This could just be the curse of the un-authentic Chinese fast food trend, but sadly after several attempts at making the best of this eatery, I can only give it one star.
