Good price for good yogurt. Definitely better quality than yogurtland...quality over quantity (of flavors) I guess?
Store's super cute/clean as well : )
Is it just me, or has their yogurt gotten more icier? Their fruits aren't as fresh as before. In fact, the mangos looked as if they were carelessly chopped.
Today was also the first time seeing the owner (or what seems to be - Asian lady). Her customer service skills aren't up to par with her younger and much friendlier employees! For example, as soon as I paid, she zoomed back into the kitchen area (the back of the establishment) without saying a word to me. I didn't hear a "thank you." Not even a "bye."
On the bright side, I almost have my frequent customer card filled up!

ADDICTED, ADDICTED, ADDICTED to Tartini!
Yessss...I visited them again. I wish I knew how many calories were in each serving though?! Anyone know? Please send me a PM if you do!
I tried the Taro Tart...too creamy for my taste. I also tried the Tartini Original. It tasted really close to the Lychee (in my opinion) so I liked it :). Move over Yogurtland, I have a new love!

Great place for yogurt! I personally don't come here because of the camera lights on Stevenscreek & De Anza and parking is hard to find. But their yogurt taste delicious and they have great topping! :)
Best of the area frozen yogurt shops.
I'm a die hard Red Mango fan but when I read all the reviews about Tartini I just had to give it a shot. I was excited to try their Lychee flavor yogurt because of the reviews and I also had Lychee flavor at a different yogurt place and figured (based on the other reviews) that Tartini would have the best. But I was sadly disappointed when I arrived at Tartini only to find out that they weren't even selling lychee that day :( I almost ran out of there and down the street to Red Mango, but decided since I was there I might as well stay. I sampled a couple of flavors before I decided on the Peach Tart and Original Tart. My BF tried the Peach Tart and didn't like it because it was really tart, but I loved it! My only problem with Tartini is that their yogurt is SUPER icy. While I was eating my yogurt I felt as though I was eating a super frozen slurpee/icee. Their flavors are ok, but I really prefer my frozen yogurt to be smooth and creamy, NOT ice!! Nice try Tartini, but this visit only made me realize how much I LOVE Red Mango. SORRY!!
Why do you do this to me, Tartini?
The only reason I eliminated 1 star from my rating is because they got rid of the passionfruit tart flavor :-[
I hope to god they bring it back someday.
that was the only reason i kept on coming back! no other place had it! i guess the mango tart is a good second choice....
the ambiance is pretty vivid, it always puts me in the mood for yogurt for some reason.
this still remains my second favorite yogurt place, i still prefer honeyberry on el camino.
to everyone: if you are ever in Tartini and you happen to see the passionfruit tart flavor, PLEASE get it. its lifechanging, and thats the least i can say about it.
I got outta class really early today, so I made a spontaneous stop here to give their self-serve a try. I went with their original and topped it with cheesecake bits and strawberries. The froyo, while not bad in flavor, was terribly icy. I'd liken it to the texture of sorbet. My preference is creamy froyo, so even just a teeny bit of creaminess would've been appreciated. Not knocking a star off though 'cause the Twister is bomb and I've yet to try any of the other self-serve flavors.

They have a smaller selection than some of the other frozen yogurt places, especially when it comes to non-tart flavors. However, their honeydew is absolutely delicious. They also supervise the samples, meaning the guy actually fills the mini cup and hands it to you, and watches as you try it... which is sort of weird. But he was very friendly, so no problem there. The fruit toppings actually looked fresh and appetizing, which is always a plus, and while the selection of candy toppings wasn't huge, it's probably better in the long run as it prevented me from over-stuffing my cup with random candy.
Being open until 11pm everyday is a huge plus in this area.

Tartini was the first froyo place i've ever been to. so now after trying a variety of froyo joints of all sizes, types, and locations, I came back one day to see if Tartini still lived up to my expectations.
thank goodness it did!
when i went they had lowered the price from 39 to 38 cents an ounce. suwheet! but wait, other yelpers say the price has gone down even lower to 30 cents?? this calls for another trip! let's just hope they don't compromise the quality for the price.
the guy who was working there was so sweet! he let my friends try all the flavors and always had a smile on his face.
quality is comparable to red mango, my other favorite froyo joint. it's creamy and doesn't melt quick. toppings are fresh and abundant but not overwhelming. (i wonder how long toppings are left out at other places)
still hands down my favorite froyo joint. beats out red mango by a nose only because it's self-serve and i prefer self serve places.

They have lychee, honeydew, and taro froyo! Location isn't the best. The flavors were good, but it got to be a little sweet after a while. Hmm... TARTini...
It's only 30 cents an oz, so people might wanna come here instead of waiting in line at Yogurtland.

It's been a month since I wrote!
Came here with my bud Evan. Wow...after all the ruckus and rave about this place, I can thoroughly say I am disappointed. Yes, the ambiance was great, and the layout was great (blue color, new-age designs in terms of chairs and what not), BUT when it comes down to it, did Tartini execute on their frozen yoghurt?
No. The soft, dense, and rich texture prevalent in most high class frozen yoghurt places was missing here from their tart ones. It was evident in their sweet ones but not tart. Will I come here again? Maybe, but with the influx of choices in the area, I'll probably pass. I had their melon, passion fruit, and dark chocolate (which to be fair had the texture I was looking for but was not tart).

Total meh here. Finally tried Tartini now that they've lowered their price to 30 cents an ounce. When we arrived the other evening, there was no one in the front of the store (staff or customers). We waited around for a few minutes and I finally had to say "hellooooo?" and a girl poked her head around the corner. She was on the phone and looked none too pleased with me. She barked into the phone "I guess I'll have to call you back" and then came to the cash register. I've never been here before, so I asked for a sample cup and she sighed, and came around the counter. She asked which flavor I wanted to try, and then dispensed a sample for me. She did the same for my guest.
We ended up getting four flavors in our cup - dark chocolate, passion fruit tart, mango tart and original. Added some mochi and a few tiny chocolate chips. Our total was close to $5 (yes, they charge tax, regardless if you're getting it to go).
Surly service aside, the froyo was ok. The texture varied wildly between the flavors - the mango tart was half-melted by the time we sat down to eat it about two minutes after dispensing.
The store is nice-looking and all, but the music was way too loud, the service was horrible and overall the froyo wasn't all that.
I was actually so disappointed that we drove over to Yogurtland afterwards to get more froyo. Clearly we won't be back with both Yogurtland and Red Mango within walking distance of this location.

I come here very often to chat with my friends. Oddly enough, I never get their yogurt because they don't have green tea or peppermint (seasonal) anymore. Instead I opt for their teanis, which are also decent (I most recommend the green teani or thai teani). However, sometimes they fill the whole cup with ice and I don't get as much beverage as I would like :(
I highly recommend the Tartini Twister, which is frozen fruit of your choice blended in with vanilla yogurt. I usually get peach.
Overall, its atmosphere isn't bad, the workers are really nice, and the food is decent.
After hearing that they're now 30 cents/oz, I went back for another try. I must say, they have the best flavors.
Reccomend:
Lychee Tart - Heavenly and refreshing
Honeydew Tart - I've only seen this flavor here
Their yogurt is much better than Yogurtland's because I personally think it's better quality.

I came here on a visit to nor-cal. Not as wide selection as Yogurtland, but they have pretty good selection of tart flavors. It's called 'Tartini' for a reason. The yogurt here kind of reminds me more like Pink Berry. It's more sweet and tarty. Overall, it's pretty good and the price is right.
It's kind of hard to find if you are new in the area. The place does not have a huge sign nor is it at any open plaza. It's more of a residence/commercial type area. Pretty nice though.
You'll find mostly tart froyo here, hence the name Tartini. The consistency is pretty good but probably not as good as Pinkberry. The two sweet flavors they did have, vanilla and dark chocolate, were a bit runny. Yogurt dispensers are self serve, as well as the toppings bar. The one thing I hate about Pinkberry are their stingy portions.
Raspberry and blueberry topped with waffle cone bits were both good.
But c'mon, my froyo can't come in a martini glass? I'm kidding!

The Tartini decor has a cool clean feeling but too blue. As someone said "it looks like a hospital."
It has the same concept as Yogurtland; with weighing and self-serve machines. But the flavors are not as abundant as Yogurtland.
Toppings though, are wonderful!! The fruits are fresh and plenty to choose from, with pomegranate and fresh Lychee!
My parents were so excited that I came home for the weekend. Where could we go at 9pm on a Friday night? Hmm....Yogurtland! So we drove to the Yogurtland on Prospect and it was packed. There were at least 30 people in line for froyo. Ok, I like froyo but not enough to stand in line for that long to get some. My stepdad mentioned that he's been to Tartini a few times before so we left Yogurtland and made our way to Tartini.
+1 star - There were other customers but we didn't have to wait in a long line.
+1 star - The price is now $0.30/ounce
+1 star - We brought Billy (a Jack Russell) with us so we had to sit outside. Sitting outside Tartini was far nicer than sitting outside Yogurtland
+1 star - At 23, I didn't feel like the oldest person there. (Everyone at Yogurtland looked like they were 16...)
+1 star - Really yummy flavors & toppings. I got vanilla/dark chocolate swirl, raspberry & original tartini with yogurt chips, M&Ms, mochi, and blueberries.

Oh Tartini. I had such high expectations of you. How many friends raved to me about your wonder? How many Yelp reviews praised your creamy coolness? In the end you were none of that.
I arrived on a sunny July Tuesday afternoon. Walking in, I knew something was wrong. It was completely deserted. There wasn't even someone behind the register! Now, let me tell you this: you do not find deserted yogurt shops in Cupertino. Not during the summer, when kids have nothing better to do but hang out there.
So, my friend and I made a little noise, which caused a cashier to emerge. We got our yogurt. There were only 6 flavors. SIX FLAVORS, among which taro was not one. I was sad. No matter, I pressed on to the toppings. I only put fruit on my yogurt, so I can't speak for their other toppings bar, but the fruit was good. All the cubbies were full and everything was sweet.
Pay time. Tartini recently reduced its price to 30 cents, which is excellent since that's how much everyone else charges. Can't complain.
Eat time. I sit down with my spoon and immediately go WTF. My yogurt is already 1/3 liquid. Before I'm half way done (5 min, tops), all I have is melty stuff and fruit in my cup. That is UNACCEPTABLE. What game are you trying to pull, Tartini? I was inside! It wasn't even a hot day! Strangely enough, my fellow yogurt taster only got nontart flavors (vanilla and chocolate) and her yogurt was firm. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE. This cannot stand.
Furthur, their spoons were boring and white. When you're competing with places like Yogurtland (pink spoons) and Orange Tree (colorful clear spoons) you need to pick up your game in the details.
Taste wise, it was meh. I didn't think it was tart enough to earn a name like TARTini. I like Yogurtland and Orange Tree better.
Decor wise, yay! It was very cute and blue inside. Too bad it was EMPTY.
In the end, it was the melty yogurt that did me in. Farewell, Tartini. May I never see you again.

400 reviews!!!!! I just go there for the sake of getting away from work for a break.
Tartini, tartini, tartini banana bo bana bo mini....
This place is kinda like a high end kinda place, the location is beautiful and so is the decor but the parking sucks. They have really good yogurt and a wide selection of toppings and its really chill. Ranked up in the top spot with Yogurtland and Yogurt twist. By far one of my faves :]
Cupertino is the home of Apple, mild weather, and an excellent primary & secondary public school system.
Cupertino is also the home of (last I counted) SIX (6) frozen yogurt shops. For a city that's only 10.9 sq mi (28.3 km2), that's approximately one frozen yogurt shop for every 2 sq. mi!
However, in the land of plenty, I would have to say that Tartini Frozen Yogurt Bar ranks supreme!!!
While the parking situation is not ideal, their frozen yogurt has the best consistency and flavors. It's not as watered down as others in the area and it's not as creamy as others either. For me, it's just right. My favorites are the lychee and passionfruit flavors. Their dry toppings are plentiful and the fruit toppings are fresh. My favorites are the mochi pieces and strawberries!
Tartini is different from Red Mango and Pinkberry in that it lets their customers create their own creations and you can pack in your selections to the brim with toppings or just keep it simple with not a topping at all.
So, for the control-freak in all of us (or fine, just me) having the unfiltered power to pick and choose yogurt flavors and toppings in a world of uncertainty and chaos is sweet.

39 cents an ounce. Be warned.
The yogurt here is of quality of Red Mango or Pink Berry. It's perfect in consistency and full on it's flavor. Fruits are a lot fresher than your average 30 cent yogurt joint.
The setting is very cute. It's in a friendly area that has an amazing field go go lay on right in front of it's doors.
Grab yourself some Yogurt and enjoy a nice day outside.
My favorite flavors are Tart and Raspberry. You can honestly taste every bit of yogurt you eat. It melts in your mouth deliciously and pleasantly.
They give a 10% for students, which is always a plus.
Minus stars the horrible time finding parking.

Tartini probably has the best selection of yogurt in the Bay Area.
The yogurt here is reasonably creamy and tart. All of the flavors are very good. We especially like the regular and lychee.
The location is definitely really odd. If I worked for Apple, I might visit this place more often.
YAY! THANK YOU FOR BRINGING BACK TARO, TARTINI!
Summer are always my Tartini binge seasons. I pretty much live to rack up the stamps on my buy-9-get-1-free stamp cards.
And taro is delish. Doesn't melt fast, and is a perfect balance of tarty and creamy. Hooray!
And YAY for the 30 cents an ounce price!
Tartini has changed their formula, or so it seems. I can get more, for less $$ and yet the price per oz is still the same. It's also a bit more icy which I love.
They now have PassionFruit tart instead of Lychee and it's awesome!! And my old friend Mango now is MUCH better than it was last summer. Less sweet and cloying. Like a new boyfriend.

If I could, I'd say 3.5 stars.
PROS: Wonderfully creamy yogurt. My faves are the passionfruit and mango. Yummmm. This location is really clean, quiet and bright. I've never encountered screaming children running around or random high schoolers playing cards. I always sit here for a few minutes and eat my yogurt deliciousness in peace. Sigh =) I hear they dropped their prices to 30 cents/oz now! I'll have to swing by and verify.
CONS: Parking is definitely a problem. The only parking that is super close is the 20 min. inside the structure (only 3-4 spaces). =( Apathetic high school employees. But who can blame them really?
P.S Dont forget your stamp card!
This is my favorite youger place so far, the decor is nice, staff is friendly, the flavors are very good, and the outside area is a great place to sit and enjoy the yougert on a nice day.
Tartini is overrated. The yogurt is now 30 cents an ounce, but, suspiciously is now icier than the iciest of the icy: Yogurtland.
When I went there Paula, the co-owner, seemed more interested in socializing with her friends than helping the customers.
Another huge turnoff is when they won't let you fill your "sample" yogurt cups yourself. If you ask them to sample a flavor, the employee will walk up, BARELY fill your cup, and walk away so that you can't try another flavor.
SERIOUSLY? It's not like yogurt is a precious commodity that will cost you tons of money if i GOD FORBID may want to try another flavor.
I hate cheapskates. Kthxbi.

With such rave reviews, I expected a lot better.
Their consistency was very good, I have to admit.
They had more than simply frozen yogurt to offer, which was nice too.
However, I'm running out of positive things to say.
The location looks really nice, but parking is annoying.
The interior is really drab. White, signature Tartini blues sprinkled around, and bright pink seats? Once I went in, I just wanted to leave. I want a place that will make me want to stay. With all the rave reviews, wouldn't this imply they make bank? So shouldn't this mean they should do more to satisfy their customers? Buy a TV, games, something!
I tried honeydew, passion fruit tart, and its original tart flavors. Honeydew was yummy, I have to admit. Passion fruit tart was pretty good as well. However, what is making this review a solid 3 stars is their Tartini flavor. It was the grossest tart flavor I've ever consumed. Is this why it's called Tartini? Because it tastes like an alcoholic version of tart? If so, count me out. That's not what I'm looking for.
They had your standard toppings. Their strawberries didn't look that fresh, but their blueberries were yum. As happy as I am that they had mochi, their mochi's consistency was weird.
For 30 cents, I'd rather drive down Stevens Creek Blvd. to Yogurtland.
Being at De Anza for the summer, I drive by Tartini often. I anticipated this place so much because of Yelp, but all I can say is that I left dissatisfied and most likely won't be coming back.
Came here to study for a couple of hours due to free WIFI.. ( had a bit of trouble at first but then successfully got access!! ) they closed at 11.. if you still need to study, the closest place to tartini is donut wheel, open 24 hrs!
Service was very nice.. i got to try some samples which eventually sucked me into buying some froyo...
i LOVED the passion fruit tart and mango tart!!! SO GOOOD.. perfect for my taste! I think mango tart here is WAY better than the one at yogurtland.. I like the sourness to it while yogurtland's is sweeter.
what can i say.. i am a sour person :) just not quite sweet yet!

What can I say except I love this place. The place itself is really pretty right down to the color and the furniture and the decorations. UPDATE: Tartini has just changed their price to $0.30/oz. wooo hoooo!!!! Follow them on twitter at http://www.twitter.com... for special promos!!
I'm a huge fan of tart froyo and Tartini does it better than the rest in the Bay Area. Love that it is self serve. Also, the topping bar has a ton of variety and is always clean.
The froyo has the perfect consistency and texture (not too icy or milky) and the perfect amount of tartness! Plus, their lychee tart is TO DIE FOR!!! If you have a heavy froyo fist *like me* you will easily spend up to $9 per serving. But, hey, for an addict like me FANTASTIC froyo is def worth it!!
Great customer service. Staff is extremely helpful and nice, plus you get a student discount so bring your ID!!
I can proudly say that this is only my second affair with the king of hype himself, Froyo.
My friends and I were a bit tipsy (is there ever a time that I am in the South Bay without some sort of inebriation? Nope!), paid no attention at all to the near freezing weather outside, and filled those huge bowls with dairy goodness.
Being somewhat lactose intolerant, I cannot eat ice cream. I know, my stomach just cried out in sorrow too...
BUT - yogurt is special. Yogurt has live cultures that actually help with digestion!
With that being said, I ate hella.
With strawberries.
And peanuts.
and I was freezing but I LOVED it.
Mr. Froyo, thank you for embracing me yet again with your pasteurized, culture-y goodness.
I'll be sure to let you in my mouth again any day.
Wait, what?

I love this place, it looks so trendy. I'm all about the self-serve frozen yogurt!
I like the Original flavor and Green Tea when they have it. If you're in Cupertino, you should stop by and check it out. Parking is the only problem, but once that is solved enjoy the relaxed feeling.
This is a great place to take a date, after you get your dessert you can go outside and walk around in the open court yard! Very nice at night.
3.5
Some people live by Tartinis, but I don't think I'll be one of them. It's not that the yogurt is bad, I'm just more inclined to like the creamier styles. Tartinis is certainly not the champion of creamy yogurt. In fact, it's really one of the iciest varieties out there. But here what I liked--the tart mango in particular was really good a, but they have a bunch of other fresh flavors. There was a good variety of toppings--particularly the different jellies--my new fav.
Parking, unless I'm missing out on some secret, is limited and can kinda be a pain. Fill me in if you know of something better--I promise I'll only run in for yogurt and not occupy your spot for forever!

Update on flavors:
They now have BLUEBERRY, PASSION FRUIT, and PISTACHIO! Go try all three now and see which one is your favorite.
No white chocolate shavings though (yet?).
Pistachio is not bad, it has a salty/sweet taste. Passion fruit is pretty good if you like sweet yogurt. Blueberry is on the sweet side too.
