Kathy, the manager of this store, has a very anti-customer attitude. When an item I found in the dollar section came up with no price and I showed her the whole pile over in the dollar section, rather than apologize and honor the lower price, she made a scene and made us feel very unwelcome. Too bad, since I used to spend a lot of money here, but after being treated like that by the MANAGER no less, I'm going down the street to Walmart from now on. Ridiculous.
PS There were homeless people at the front door panhandling. -

I like this store since its very close to my house. However I dont like when you ask an employee for help in finding an item they just point. Very Rude. I thought Target was suspose to set the stanard with Guest Service I guess not...I think I will find a different Target to shop at.

this review is for the mobile section on the electronic department.
the manager (Rob Lang)of what appear to be the mobile kiosk was below bad.not just he refuse to sell me a phone since according to him my plans in the future like adding my wife to the new plan i am now getting , will cause him to lose his commission ,but also called the other target in the area to let them know i am coming as they told me so, and told them not to sell me a phone no matter what!!! , this time with lying to me with some bogus excuses that only t-mobile can create more then on account . when i confront him on the next day he change his story claiming its is not possible to do so in target system and only t-mobile store can do that, what turn as a completely lie since i did went to a further distanced Target and did purchase with no problem the phone i wanted, the exact same thing he said he cant do since his system and target system are different mobile manager Rob Lang acted as if he in the mafia and tried with any effort to prevent me buying a product in the target store , not just i will never step in this store again i will tell and telling to any one about this story -

I like the Woodland Hills Target - this is my favorite one to shop at. It's one level with lots of parking. Returns are easy and the staff friendly. I have been to the
Sherman Oaks one on Sepulveda and I don't like this one at all. It's 2-level and
not practical. The shoppers tend to me of "ghetto mentality" meaning throwing items on the floors, breaking eggs, and the language- shut down your ears!! -

This is a nice one for sure. Busy parking. It's Target....

Pharmacy is great, but the store is not. It's clean and well organized, but too frequently the prices at the register are higher than that marked on the store shelves. The cashier will always correct the price when called to their attention, but if you aren't careful you will be paying too much for some items. We've learned to keep notes of posted prices and compare while checking out because this happens so often.

They're open until 11pm Monday through Saturday. I like that.
Usually the lines are short in the off-hours I'm likely to shop.
The store is very clean and the new food department is pretty nice. So, yeah, this Target isn't bad! -
Review from Mariana L.
Woodland Hills, CA
I went to Target yesterday and spent over $300.00 on linens and household goods. When I got home, I noticed that the clerk failed to include one of my bags, which had two sets of flannel sheets in it. I called the store and they told me to come in and bring the receipt. Today I did just that. I went to the customer help desk and the teenager that was running it called a phone number and spent over 5 minuted talking and giggling with whoever was on the other end of the line. Then he proceeded to tell me that the tape of my transaction showed that I walked out with that bag. Now, tell me how they could tell that from me walking out of the store with my shopping basket LOADED to the gills with bags. They claimed that they gave me the bag and they could not be responsible for it. I will never, ever shop at Target again. I was against their politics to begin with, but now they have added rip off artist to their repertoire. I will spend the extra money and go to BED, BATH, & BEYOND instead. Their customer service far exceeds the service that I received at Target.

Bathing suit season.
I'd sooner make out with a toothless homeless man or try to sucker punch my own throat than have to endure the wrath of the dressing room mirror when it comes to bathing suit try ons. It's the worst. There you stand in a horrendously honest light glaring at every imperfection on your body. You might have walked into the store still licking your chops remembering the pizza and bottle of wine you had last night and you now stand in almost tears looking at the ass that yelp built. It. sucks. the. big. one. But sadly, if you wanna swim, frolic or get near a body of water and aren't too keen on nudist camps, it's a torture one must endure.
Two weeks ago... my time was up. After avoiding a bathing suit purchase for about 10 years now, I figured it was finally time. Plus I was going to a resort the next day and the broken wire top and hopelessly stretched out bikini bottoms for a body from another time weren't going to do the trick. And so I began the search at this here Tarjaay.
The first rack was filled with suits that might look good adorning my ankle. I think they were all size 2's, which last time I checked wouldn't even fit my cat. Let's keep looking and jump over to the 1 pieces. From there the following pull quotes from my noggin were issued:
Okay, this is kinda cute... Oh wait, where's the rest of it... Hmm, this one has a skirt over the booty region and a little drawstring on the side... Hmmm, very interesting... How in the hell is a real boob supposed to stay in this cup? Where's the maternity section, I give up! But wait, what's that brown one on the floor?
Under the little skinny bitches rack (sorry skinny girls, but for my time in the bathing suit section you were referred to in my jealous brain as bitches) was a brown one piece with a little skirtamahoo and what's that, it's in my size?
I snatched it up and proceeded to the dressing room of hell and began stripping down. Off went the top, off went the skirt and then I made the mistake of looking early. Crap, who's shit bod is that?! Focus steph, focus. I then put on the suit and what's this? Is this actually flattering? Is that my ASS in there? It looks almost... attractive? How is this possible. And the girls, they are staying in place and still looking up instead of down. Hallelujah! I have found a fucking bathing suit!!!!
From there, I quickly put my clothes back on and made a mad dash to the checkout counter before I could start second guessing things. When it came time for the pool the next day, I wouldn't say I was exactly running in slow motion in my new bathing suit, but a confident strut was achieved and I actually felt good in my frame. And so, Target, once again you have not failed me and I thank you for it!1 Previous Review: Show all »

I was a Target virgin until I found myself falling for this store eight years ago. There was even a spark in the bulls-eye.
The merchandise was refreshing, the store was uncluttered, the employees were friendly. It all rendered me speechless that this was actually a big-box store. I mean, where were the aisles with gaping holes and sad, trampled merchandise, where were the class field-trips of screaming kids with kool-aid stains, and why were the employees pleasant? Had I entered the twilight zone? Apparently, I haven't. So I kept coming back to hand over my paycheck every time.
I no longer live in the Valley, but I still empty my wallet at Target quite often.
Yay! I love Target and Target loves me back. I'm so happy this is a mutual relationship. -

One of the better Targets I've been to, the clerks are always professional and nice and things are usually in perfect order. There's nothing I hate more than going to a dirty, ghetto Target.
Of this location, I'm a fan! -

A good one as far as Targets go. One story, clean store, professional staff, esp at returns. Great parking (although it's AWFUL parking in the valley heat). But what is up with the shopping cart militia man in the parking lot? He's kind of scary.

I am trying to figure out the breathless reviews I've seen about this Target. Guys, it's TARGET. They sell stuff. They are Sears for the 2000s. If you need cat litter, they have it. If you need socks... ditto. A Lego set? They can hook you up. Seriously, reading these reviews you'd think we were living in East German circa 1974, and no one can find Dark Knight on BluRay or a 12 pack of Bounty.
The help is not helpful. They don't know where anything is located! Here's an actual exchange after the store had moved things around:
ME: Hi, where would I find light bulbs?
RED SHIRT: If we had them... they'd be [gestures NORTH, with a wave of his hand] in that area.
"IFwe had them"??? Light bulbs?
I do like that Target has those endcap scanners. It's as if the home office realized they are hiring the princes of apathy. But, ALL Targets have those.
So what is there to shout about with this Target? It's single-story; parking is ample (provided you are prepared to drive defensively); they are located on a the same stretch as the excellent Woodland Hills Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, thus making domestic shopping ventures a straight shot, and they are do a good job of keeping things moving in the checkout aisles. And, despite the floor-help's apathy, I am happy to report that the check out folk are sharp, quick, an interested in getting you out the door. (Don't let that hilarious Kristin Wiig sketch on SNL suggest otherwise!)
Also.... they aren't WalMart. Which, at the end of the day, is enough for me. -

This would be one of those older Targets. Normally Target in general gets 5 stars because it's somehow turned super discount into cool.
This one loses 1 star due to the purse section being located at the entrance of this place.
Every freakin' time girlfriend and I head in here she gets sucked in. I hate purse shopping...and among guys I don't think I'm alone here. -
Review from Nicole A.
I really like to come to this Target in between doctor appointments. This Target has a really good clothing and shoe section for women and is huge! Plus it carries the Boots cosmetics which is always a plus. The only downside is some of the snobby clientele and the Starbucks is not that great inside but the Target team members are great!

I like this target, I work next to it so I stop by frequently, but what I noticed there is always cops there arresting someone, I guess there must be shoplifters happening slot now, and I am starting to see homeless people hanging around asking for money, I am loosing my interest in going to this target anymore. But it's a very clean store though

Easily _THE_ BEST Target in all of the Valley!!!
Clean. And the 'Tasty Biscuits'.... Parking situation isn't the best, however.
I saw Gabriel Union at this location once...with her body guard. That's HOT! -

I love Target, but hate that there are always so many people for two lanes open. Today I returned something and as I was in the Return Line, one customer was telling the Target worker about VA benefits he was entitled to because he retired from the service. I listened to 3 minutes of this while there were 3 people in line. ANNOYING!

All I know is the parking lot was a nightmare. I remember coming here on the way to Zuma Beach. We took a shortcut going through Malibu Canyon. Before we can carry on, I forgot my beach towel. So what do I come in here to get? Snacks and a Transformer beach towel. Don't I feel like an over grown over sized kid. Good thing I was headed to the beach with some friends and their kids.

There must be something about the layout at this Target that allows me to shop with ease. I always find great deals here and love their jewelry section. They do a great job of keeping the store clean and not looking picked over. If you are looking for a great target this is the place to go.
