YAY!!!! Target is my favorite department/convenience store... It is obviously the Walmart for rich people.  Anyway, I am so happy that it sprouted up on Coleman cause that is literally right over the 87 overpass from where I live.  This target is amazing-clean and always organized.  There is a pharmacy here for your convenience, and there is a Starbucks and Pizza Hut.  Their food selection, "Market Pantry" brand or whatever is extensive so I can go here to buy cheap groceries since there isn't a Safeway closer by.  I also like to shop in their girl's section cause I can always find something I like and fit in haha (esp their Hello Kitty clothes) but their sales and selection in the Womens/Juniors section is good too.  They also have pretty good sale stuff in their body section.  I love Target! I go here for everything!

I usually try to avoid writing yelp reviews about chains because I figure they're chains, you know, you've been to one you've been to them all.  Target, however, is a chain that has always been dear to my heart, and this Target is no exception.  This Target, in fact, is (dare I say it) the best Target I have been to.  Not only does it have a pharmacy that dispenses your medications in cute little red upside down pill bottles, but it also has...

wait for it...

A FULL GROCERY!  with a freezer section!  and wine and beer!  I have told family and friends from other towns and they just don't believe me, but it's true.  It is so beautiful and true.  You literally don't have to shop anywhere else.  I know that Target managing to encompass every need a shopper might have is probably somehow inherently evil, but for now I'm going to ignore that and bask in the wonder that is the full grocery in a Target store.

By boss says that there is lunch time and Target time. Target time is when I am gone for more than an hour because he irritated me. Target is therapy. Cheap shirts, $5.50 movies, new frames, new kitchen gadgets, Cd's....these are all things that make be feel better and calm me down. I am here at least once a week and I always find stuff I don't need but can't live without. This one is really organized, well stocked and big. I love it.

I really love the Target at this location. Even though I work here, I'll buy something on or off my shift and the "team members" are always nice and helpful. I haven't experienced this kind of treatment at any other Targets. Usually, they'll just brush me off but if I need something, they're there to help! And even when I'm not working, I'm there buying something..it's nuts!

This is by far the biggest, nicest, cleanest, most organized Target I've been too.  The parking lot is even big, clean, nice and has plenty of room for parking, people and carts - at the same time.

I have managed to find everything I've ever looked for, everything I didn't need while looking and anything in between.  I love the prices and selection - especially if you aren't looking to spend a fortune.

Sure the help there isn't top notch, but they have a lot of registers and people running around, you're either bound to find what you are looking for or get out of there pretty quick through the lines.

There is also a pizza hut and a starbucks if you are fiending for caffeine or grease!

Lots of other stores around to complete your shopping as well and easy to get to in general.

I love going to this location, because it's only a few minutes away from home. Newly built and the stores around Target are great to shop around the plaza. I am here at least once a week and I always find stuff I don't need but can't live without. This one is the most organized, well stocked and the parking lot is even big for shoppers. I enjoy the $1 spot and the women's clothing section is on the right-hand side the minute you walk through the entrance doors. Funny, because most women love to shop and they love to buy those best bargains! Great thinking Target.

I love this Target. It has everything. The parking at this Target can be a bit challenging since I had a couple of run-in's with ignorant people that doesn't  know the difference between backing up a car and purposely hitting their car! As we were backing out of a parking spot they were waiting to take over- but thought we were backing up too closely to their car and was honking numerous times to get our attention when in fact we did see them and had to back up that close in order to get out so they can occupy that spot! Next time don't get too close to our car if you want the space jerk offs!  but overall that Target has everything. But if you are looking for cute clothes Target offers for young adults don't depend on this one,  small sizes sells out quick!

***THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE TARGET WEDDING REGISTRY***

Don't do it unless you make sure that each and everyone of your guests that buy you a gift from Target give you the receipt.

We decided to register at Target, since it is accessible to most people, convenient, and I love Target!! You can register for anything and everything, including furniture!! So we did.

Their return policy sucks ass. Pardon my french, but it does. Anything over $20 HAS TO BE RETURNED WITH A RECEIPT. WTF?

Here's an idea, they should put those return label stickers on their items like they do at Macy's and Nordstrom. Problem solved.

Don't get me wrong, I still go here like at least 2 times a week, I just know now to ALWAYS include a gift receipt and to NEVER register here again. This time when I have a baby.

This one of the better ones!

I heart Target, and Target hearts me.

This one is nice, it's big and spacious - that way some of the deals will talk to you.

I might usually be here on a Tuesday morning picking up the latest CD's or sneaking around to look for Quaker Rice Cakes in the ranch flavor. This seems like one of the only places that has it anymore. Their marketplace is one of the areas that are laid out nicely.

This beats the one from Westgate, most definitely.

I've been meaning to buy some more Sonicare brush replacements, so I found myself the other day making yet another weekly trip to my local Target (aka...one of my favorite little pleasures in life).

You would think that since I needed that one specific thing, I'd just head to that appropriate department. But as usual, some crazy, unknown force gravitated my little butt towards the women's clothing department. Hmm? How did that happen? :  P

Okay...I get it, the "Big Wo-man Upstairs"  has a plan for me. I'm here for a reason. What that might be is beyond me. So I guess I must go on this journey to find my mission...my quest.

I was sent to stroll... slowly through the isles of swimsuits, tshirts, and sweatpants. It was like treading through a tropical jungle trying to find my way back to civilization. After 15 min. of sweat-burning struggle, I peered through their overly-packed clearance racks and what did I see? A bare white wall, strewn with chromed-waterfall fixtures, with the most elegantly, beautiful, black coat I had ever seen. "Wow...am I hearing the joyful sound of steel drums? And I think I see cute cabana boys waving at me."  : ) "OMG!, is that for me? I mean, what are the chances of that one coat being my size?"

Yes, the planets are aligned folks...it was MY size...fully lined,  beautifully sewn, and fit me perfectly. Pretty darn cool for me to find this cute little "boutique-like" number...and at Target out of all places. Oh yeah...and best of all, it was only $34.99.

Boo-yah!

Agreed, it's one of the better Targets I've been to, mainly due to the fact it's new and isn't as ghetto or tore up as the older ones. Located in a new plaza as well and a convenient 5 minute drive from my house. Did some Birthday shopping here awhile back, got some video games for my friend that were on sale and I didn't even know they were. Walmart has better deals, but Target has better customer service and organization. Staff was real helpful too, they were so nice a freakin employee convinced me to get a Target card, those bastards...I got hustled.

I am only comparing this Target location to the Fremont and Newark ones, since those are the only other locations that I've visited. For grocery shopping, I LOVE this Target, they always seem to be stocked up with my favorite goodies and fridge essentials. The value of the Market Pantry brand groceries saves me hundreds of dollars on groceries every month. I am very pleased with the quality and quantity that you get in every product that Market Pantry makes.

As for the clothing department, there is always my size available, which is great, and the clearance department is huge, and not as messy as you would think. The only complaint I have is the dressing room. Talk about a mess. I went into the dressing room and on the floor was a million coat hangers and ripped off tags from clothes that apparently someone stole from the store. Stealing is what drives prices up on clothing and just about anything in the store, so unless you plan on stealing EVERYTHING you own through your whole life, you will be affected by your own stupidity and basically pay back every penny from the 20 dollar outfit you stole because you "ain't got no money".

There's a little Starbucks inside, which I don't really care for since the prices are too high and the girl dropped my muffin on the floor and it was the last one they had. Ugh.

Overall, the place is pretty nice, not too ghetto, some evidence of theft here and there around the store, but not bad.

This is quite possibly the nicest Target I've been too. I saw a kid barf here and it's still better than any other Target I've been to. I'm not to fond of the area surrounding the shopping center but downtown needs places like this.

I really like this target, especially during my lunch hour!  it's not that crowded when I go and the rows are clean.  Could it be because it's still early during the day and on a weekend?  Probably.  but still I like Target's that are all one 1 floor.  This is definitely NOT a TARGHETO.

Ah yes... good old Target.

There is nothing that you could need, that target does not have. (not actually true, but appears that way)

You can tell they have really tried to improve their supply and style throughout this store. I used to compare target with WalMart, but now there is no question that Target is better by far.

Their tea selection is almost equivalent to their coffee section, which is nice to see. They sell various milks, bacon, hashbrown, tacos, chips, ice cream, soups, and various other meals for prices lower than Safeway, i kid you not.

Target has allowed me to make my own "home cooked meals" at my college for a reasonable price, as well as shop for my hamster and pick up gifts for friends and family!

I constantly re-stock my black spandex there, as well as glance at their graphic tees or swimsuits. They have an amazing toy section as well as a book and game section.

3 cheers for Target!

This is our local Target store and I love that it's so darn close. Before this one opened, all the other ones were at least a 10 min drive if not more so I hardly ever went to a Target because I'm flat out lazy about going to buy crap at what I deem 'too far away' stores. It always boggled my mind how INTO Target people were because I just never had the love.

But now that this one has been open, I am always over at the TJ's on Coleman, so I just mosey on over to Target to see what they have. It's actually quite the fun experience.

I have found some really cute fitted Mossimo tshirts and sweaters for CHEAP, $20 or less. And they last at least a season and a half. Great for throwaway fall or summer fashion or for supplementing my fave pair of too-expensive-but-make-my-butt-look-great jeans. Who says fashion has to always be expensive?

Also it's a great place for things like basic workout clothes and cheapo but don't really look like it picture frames and knickity-knacks for the home or office. And am I the only one loving their monster jumbo packs of toilet paper?

One other fab reason for lovin' Target (but my wallet doesn't)...is that I go in looking for one thing, but come out with 3 big bags of STUFF that I discovered we 'need'. Target loves me actually. I can always find stuff in the store that I didn't realize was necessary to my daily existence.

However, the best reason for megaColeman Target love is that this particular one is NOT as crowded as the other ones...and the service is fast, the people are friendly and pretty helpful (for a Target), it's very clean and well-stocked. Some Targets are hit or miss like that.

Random note, I went there on Dec 24 thinking I was going to be screwed needing to get a gift card for a friend...expecting to wait in mondo lines of last-minute shoppers... but I was amazed to find parking quickly in the lot and no lines in the store!! I even got some fun extra stocking stuffers for my husband...was in and out in less than 10 min!!

Out of all of the targets I've been to, this one seems to be my fav.  It's clean, organized, and not as crowded.  Also once and a while they have these crazy sales and clearances.  I got some alcohol mixers, cups, a fondue set, and a brew keg for less than 10 dollars.  Yay!

This is my Target of choice.  It's the closest one to where I live and it doesn't get as crazy as the other one's I've been to.

For the most part, it's very well organized and stocked.

Not only that, but it's in the same plaza as the TJ's, so it's a one stop shop plaza for me.

I can never just walk in here for one thing, buy it, and leave.  It's like I have ADD: "Ooh, that's a cute purse!  Oh snap, The Notebook's on sale for $9.44!  No, they do not have Goldfish for $3.99!  Is that a waffle maker for $19.99 over there?!"  And so on.  By the time I leave, I'm carrying 5 bags and wondering how I'm going to explain this to my boyfriend when I get home.  That's why I honestly try to stay away from Target.  It's for my own good.

I love this Target.  I agree with Christina I. in that it's the cleanest and best organized of the Targets in the area (Camden, Saratoga or Oakridge Mall).  I've never had any problems there and the bonus is that it's close to other groovy places like WingStop, L&L, Red Brick, Trader Joe's and the airport!!  Perfect for when you have to pick someone up and they say they have to pick some stuff up that they couldn't take on the plane with them.  So nice!

I would rather come here than Walmart.  I love the $1 at the front of the store.  Easy to locate what you need.  I never had to ask for help where products are.  If I did, they led me to it right away, that I don't remember needing the help.

The only thing that I don't like is that their return policy. (w/o receipt)  Only 2 per year, so I end up having to ask my friend to return 2 for me.  The online registry doesn't link to the store either, so if you do registry online, the store can't zap it in the registry that it has been bought at the store than online.

It's decent as Targets go. You already know what's on their shelves so no point in reviewing that. They have clean bathrooms, a nice customer service area that is actually inside the store unlike the separated ones they put in the craptastic neighborhoods. To be honest, I'm actually surprised this one doesn't have the ghetto corrall, I always thought I lived in a crappy neighborhood. Most of the cashiers are pretty friendly and the store does a decent job of keeping the shelves and the racks nice and neat.

They lose a star for sometimes giving me attitude about price mistakes though. It happens at that store all the time. Bottle of water? Sign says $.92. Checkout says $1.95. No big deal when I'm buying one but expect me to speak up when I have a cartload. They always adjust the price after they have someone walk over to the shelf and walk back (what the heck are those radios for anyway) to report that yes indeed the computer system has the wrong price and the customer was right.

I do like the grocery section. There is nothing especially great on those shelves but it is convenient to pick up a box of the blue mac n cheese for boyfriends kids if they're craving junk food. Target has great prices on most of the brand name food items and they are WAY better in price compared to Safeway.

Ok, I love Target. I will probably at least like every Target I go into, but this one is fantastic. First off, it's still a rather slow Target...that means it's clean, organized, has plenty of parking, and has almost no lines. I don't know if its just me, but this location seems super big. It has a kick-ass clothing section, a Starbucks, and a huge nursery. It's a massive building, and I enjoy shopping and just browsing at this location.

Yes, it's in a flight path just a few blocks from the airport.  But my son likes plane spotting from the parking lot, so it's all good.  (He's almost 4.)

This is also the son who has been clad almost entirely in Target gear since birth.  I can always find a cute top with a soccer theme for him, and I like picking up oversize versions of stuff I normally get food shopping.  It makes for a nice change from Safeway, and it's only about two miles from my house as the crow flies.  Add to this its proximity to the new Trader Joe's (more convenient to me than the small, old one in Campbell), Chili's, Michael's, Cost Plus, and Panera Bread, and you find me rarely making a trip to just ONE of the stores in this new shopping center.

Looks like this area is really getting built up with nice apartment complexes and good retail options.

I love this Target store because it is always very clean and never overly crowded. The parking sucks because it shares a lot with other stores and restaurants in the shopping center, but I think we could all use a little more excersise so I don't mind the little walk. The shelves are always fully stocked, there is almost always no wait in line at the register, and the layout is great because I can always find what I need without wandering around (wandering around in a Target is dangerous because you end up filling your cart with things you "need" but really don't). I highly recommend this Target for an easy, friendly shopping experience.

Ahh.... yes... good ol' neighborhood Target! I live near this Target so I feel like Norm at Cheers when I walks in... cause I feel the security guards at the door are like "Hey PUFFYCHICA.... whuts up!" It's a one stop shop.... soap, clothes, shoes, eyeliner for the puffy eyebrows!!!! Jess loves the clearance  racks... Brother checks out the toys and games and meets me later.... I run thru the puffy chica section.. check out the latest and greatest shoes.... we all meet up.... one last check at the earrings section and we OUT!!!!!

I'm glad its near my house cause I was getting tired of going to the east side and to Milpitas for a Target... its nice and clean.. very well organized... me likes...ALOT!

I go here..all the time! I love Target stores, but I'm giving this particular store 4 stars instead of 5 because it's hard to find someone to help when you're searching for something!

**Update** 3.5.08
Giving this place two star (only reason I'm not giving one - is because other times, my experience has been decent) Went here the other day with my boss to buy office supplies, one employee got pissed when something rang up to be $29 a piece, when it was labeled $7.99, she caught a major attitude and slammed the scanner against the counter - how RUDE! Two other employees we spoke to were rude too. They need to get the sticks out their asses..and do their job gosh darnit!

WOW!  I'm in love with this target!  It's the best one I've ever been to!  No parking madness like in Cupertino, or annoying split floor like they have in Sunnyvale!  It has a wide open floor plan, bright, spacious, clean and the shelves are all neatly and fully stocked.  I didn't feel like I was going to get hit by crazy ladies with their shopping cart like at Walmart.  I'm definitely going to be shopping here for all my household needs!

I'm not reviewing this Target because I think there is something especially wonderful about this place (although it is a rather nice Target). I'm reviewing it because I think Yelp needs a product review function. If they have one, let me know.

Target has recently (well I'm not sure how recently it was--I haven't been in Target for a long time) developed a line of healthy gourmet snacks and foods called Archer Farms. Almost everything I've tried by them has not been a disappointment! Very good granola snacks, cookies, and crackers.

I wouldn't do my grocery shopping at Target, but since the Trader Joe's near there is almost done, I can definitely see stopping by there for some granola when I do my shopping there.

I am a die hard target fan and have been very pleased with this one.  I definitely prefer the big, open space 1 level targets to the 2 story ones and I've always had decent service.

Also, I always have in my mind that a friend (an even bigger Target fan) happened to be in the store during a corporate visit, and the executive people said it was the best looking store they'd seen!!!

Good little complex too, with a cost plus, michaels, and new Trader Joe's.

This Target ROCKS! Good stock of products, items well organized, not too crowded and place is very spacious. I could wonder around this place for hours trying to find something to buy :) Good customer service too, but the line could be long during the lunch time. If that is the case, go to the Starbucks inside the store, get a latte, relax and stand in line.

Located directly under the path to San Jose Airport also helps shoppers to find out how it feels like to live right next to the airport. If you think you are sensitive with noises while sleeping, go to the home/bedding section and lie down on the display bed to find out the constant airplane passing noise would bother you or not :D

This is a new Target, and the store and atmosphere are really nice. Outside of the planes approaching the runway for landing directly overhead, it's located in a great shopping plaza.

The store is clean, well-staffed and well-stocked. Like any Target, they have a nice selection of items, and I've never seen the store over-crowded. If you need to go to Target, I highly recommend coming to this location.

My friends like to make fun of me for getting my groceries here.  The food aisle is huge and with better pricing so I stopped going to Safeway altogether.

Pay attention when your items are rung up as I've found some discrepancies favoring the store but usually the clerk is responsive about it.

Overall a great place to shop.

I like Target, it's a lot better than Wal-Mart.   It carries a good variety of clothes for men and women.  Plus they always have clearance deals if you know where to look!  Although some of the prices may be a bit higher than Wal-Mart, the quality is so much better.  Plus, there's always a good plaza around Target.

This target SUCKS!  After reading all the raves, I was hyped!  Took a drive over there and boy, was  I disappointed.  I went on a Tuesday afternoon, the store was a mess, the selection wasn't great, a lot of the stuff that I wanted to get at the other Target store, this store didn't even have.  One of my favorite places to browse is in the children's area and this was by far the most disappointing, they hardly had any selection, no sizes left, it was REALLY picked over.

I doubt I will be coming back.  I actually like my newly remodeled Target off of Capital Expwy & Silver Creek A LOT better (gasp).

I live walking distance to this Target, that makes it a 5-star rating. They have frozen food, a good garden dept, and its always very clean inside. Also the orange sticker sale stuff at the end of some isles is worth digging through on a daily basis...this is the nicest/cleanest target in san jose...
