Target! I love target. I shop at target the most, I believe. I can literally spend an hour or two at Target. Aside from shopping, their return policy is pretty good.

This Target would probably be the one I go to the most around my area because I can find majority of clothing that is my size. I find that their staff are a bit more helpful at this Target, and there's a lot more parking here compare to the Alhambra Target.

I find that now it's better when they add the grocery section towards the back, so I can pick up food at the same time/same place shopping for cosmetics or clothing. I do like how they have a lot more stock of the women clothing selections here. This Target is really convenient because it's near other stores. Line can be long, but that's usually the case for all Targets.

I do hope that they would expand or improve their accessories aisles though!

My mother and brother can attest to how I am addicted I am to Target...
I cannot get away from Target if my life depended on it!

So it makes me sad that this Target does not meet my expectations at ALL but I still frequent this one because it's close to my place.

SELECTION: NO BUENO... every time I drop in to buy either everyday home stuff or random groceries, it's empty shelves everywhere!  I've dropped by on weekdays AND on weekends and it's always lacking in its' selection.  If you want a better stocked Target, try the Pasadena Targets...I swear, you'll be like a little kid in a candy store.

CLEANLINESS: Could seriously be better!  This Target lacks organization, I always find the wrong items so I have to walk to a price check to see how much it ACTUALLY costs.  I didn't come to Target to be fooled ):

SERVICE:  Hit or miss.  Sometimes you get employees who actually look at you and talk, other times..you get the guy that looks down and doesn't even say hello.

PARKING: HELLA SPACIOUS! Probably the only good thing I like about this Target location.

Overall, come to this Target if you need stuff that you know you can find...but if you're looking for specific items that might be popular, GO TO ANOTHER TARGET! This one does not hit the bullseye ):

Target is a great store, by itself. But damn, their customer service is getting ridiculously bad. NORMALLY, It's rather good. If I ask a worker something, they'll help me. But it seems like they'll hire anybody for the holidays.

I was looking for something, but could not find it. So, finally I asked a worker who was stocking shelves with items from a cart. This is basically how the conversation went:

    Me: Excuse me, Can you...
    Worker: I'm sorry. I'm off-duty.
    Me: (shocked) What?
    Worker: I'm off-duty. I can't help you. I'm sorry.
Me: But it's just a quick question.
Worker: I can't help you. Sorry.

WHATT??!?!? You're stocking shelves & off-duty? You can't even help me with ONE damn question? So, I was pretty steamed, but still lost! So, I asked another worker. She wasn't much help either. She just told me to look in the back section. When I told her I couldn't find it in the back section, and asked where, she was just like, "It's there." By then, I was pretty pissed and I guess she realized because she finally gave me a more specific location as to where to find the item I was looking for. Was that so hard, Target?

Plus, sometimes it's so hard to find something. I went to buy butter another time, and there was only ONE BOX of margarine left. Items there are either well stocked or not stocked up at all. Prices are so good, but it's getting tough to find stuff there now. I guess you just have to go at the right time, whatever time that is.

    Notes:
There is a private parking lot that has more than enough parking.

Amazing $1 section is right by the entrance.

    Target shoes are amazing.

AHH TARGET! My go to store ( : Considering I live a 5 minute walk away, lol. Whenever I want to make something out of the blue, I always go to Target for ingredients if it's not a big recipe. Everything is so neat here! I love when they put out the holiday section. I always go w/ my boyfriend and we spend hours in the store just messing around. I have many memories with my friends and family here. :D

Service is a hit or a miss here. Some days I get rude people, other days I get sweet people. It's kind of messy here though. Maybe lack of workers when I'm actually there? Parking is gigantic here, but seems to always be a bitch sometimes.

I came here once for Black Friday last year. Damn, that line wrapped around the store!! Can't wait to do it again in a few weeks! Haha.

This is a good Target. My friends don't like it for some reason but it's close by and pretty big. It has the same stuff as other Targets AND!!! It's close to the Dollar Tree. That is what makes this place a WIN. DollarTree.

    SERVICE:
Standard... I came here late at night once and they were really nice.

    CLEANLINESS:
*Bathroom sucks at the end of the day... if you are here in the morning, it's clean but... yeah... it changes throughout the day.
    *Store is clean

I can't seem to stay away from this Target! Seeing as it's the closest one to my house, I go here almost weekly. I never have trouble finding parking, even on a crowded Saturday afternoon. It does get super crowded though. And I don't understand why Target has so many checkstands upon checkstands if they only have about half of them open. But that's my only complaint. They always have things I want in stock. Great deals, great clothes, and I love their up & up products. Also, I've never had a rude cashier.

This target isn't too packed and the selection is as wide as you can get for any Target store around the area. Staff is pretty helpful for the most part and will lead you in the direction you need to go to find what you're looking for. They also added the grocery store to this one so it makes it even better than before.

Checking out can be an issue if it's crowded here, but that's true for many stores... they can use a tip or two with the "three's a crowd" rule though... they have enough registers to do it.

All Target employees are well-trained, attentive, and knowledgeable.  This is pivotal when I come in at 8:00 a.m. sharp and ask for a list of items and every employee knows exactly where it is.

I'm then able to leave the store at 8:07, arrive at work at 8:13 and get 17 minutes of sleep before work begins.

I love shopping, even if i am disabled. I love Target, probably because of the friendly and clean ambiance it offers.
The only complaint I have is the shortage of electric carts it offers for folks like me, who cannot walk too much due to my Multiple Sclerosis. I already did a formal complaint with the corporate offices and they did take down all the information as they are concerned.
So, with this said, I beg and plead that the next time I come into the store, I can shop till I drop!!

Man this target is always really packed these days. When you walk in you can see the line that is soo long forming to check out. Besides the fact that many of the shelves seem to be empty and not fully stocked.

A lot of random items are on clearance but when you are looking for specific things it is somewhat hard to find. I really wish that I liked this Target like many that I have been to. But this one kills it for me and I would say if you had a choice don't go to this one. Try to go to another one.

But still I believe that Target is better than Walmart when they are well managed and that the lines are super freaking long !!

I used to love coming here because this store has everything I need at an affordable price, especially now that I have a cat for whom I have to consistently provide kitty litter and food every month. However, my experience yesterday completely changed my mind.

I bought a new litter box and a big bag of cat food and brought them to the cash register to be checked out. The lady scanned the items while they were on the conveyer belt and I paid for the items. As I was putting away my card and wallet, I noticed she hadn't brought the items from the belt to the front of the register, where customers can take the items and walk away. I looked up and saw the cashier waiting for me.. All that she did was smile politely and gestured me to pick my items up from the belt, on my own.

In my head I was like WTH? Cashiers are supposed to help customers at least bring the items out toward the front of the station; it isn't asking for much (if this is the case, then I'm a nice cashier compared to Target cashiers!). I wanted to go off on her but I was by myself and felt powerless, so I just quickly grabbed the items and left without saying anything. I didn't know Target cashiers were supposed to make customers feel so low.

Isn't Target a "residual claimant" company (one that works hard to be efficient and to satisfy customers to keep them coming back), as my professor says? I wrote a letter to the Target headquarters and they said they would work on providing the service that customers come to expect at Target (seems like a template they use whenever customers complain)...but dammit, the receipt never has the cashier's name; I'd like to see this specific cashier dismissed/reprimanded with my own eyes..

Any employee of an organization represents the face of the company, and customers are the ones paying their paycheck.. What I saw yesterday was a bitter and unhappy company that takes their minimum wage stress out on customers.

Of all the Targets I have been to in So Cal this may be my favorite. It IS just a Target, so why so special? It's clean, well stocked, fully staffed and I have yet to wait in a line longer than 1 person when checking out. Oh and did I mention it's 1/4 a mile from where I work? Perfect for picking up around-the-house items without having to deal with the crowd that is attracted at my local Target close to home.

It sounds like this Target used to have issues including renovations and long lines, but in my opinion those issues no longer exist. I frequent this Target almost once a week and have yet to have a bad experience.

This is the Dog Lover's Target, because the pet section is right up in front next to the registers, even before the cosmetics section (and you know how popular makeup is)!

Prices are always decent, and Target has a good record for reinvesting a percentage of their capital gains back into the community through local schools. (Wal-Mart does not.)

    Shop smart for Fido, people!

I am a Tarjay-oholic. I've been to many different Tarjays and I frequent this one the most since it is near my house. The red motif and the Target popcorn smell  just lures me in and makes me so happy! I am seriously here once a week.. and maybe even more! It is very spacious and most importantly clean unlike the Alhambra one (GROSS!). The parking lot is huge so parking is very easy to find at any hour of the day. I can find nearly anything I am looking for here. I always make a list of things I need, but I always leave buying more than I originally planned... every single time! BF dreads when he is with me and I have to make a stop here because I can stay in the store for hours! If there was a zombie apocalypse, the Rosemead Target would be my choice to be locked in at.

The store is very organized and brightly lit which vastly contrasts others Targets in the area. Something about the store makes it feel more upscale yet the prices are still fantastic! The $1 selection at the front of the store changes all the time and is always worth a browse! I usually always find the items I am looking for in stock. They have a huge selection of dog supplies and hard to find treats that my dog loves in bulk packaging! My absolute favorite section here is the cosmetic aisle. This aisle is by far the most clean, stocked and organized section of other Targets in the area (i.e. Baldwin Park and Alhambra). Of course there are bad days where the one item I came to the store for has one left and it is obvious that an inconsiderate customer opened it and un-hygienically tested it.

The customer service is also great here! When I forgot to use a coupon I had for an item, the next time I came in they were quick to apply the coupon for me with my receipt. In the evening hours it can get very busy and when the lines get really long, they are quick to open additional registers which I really appreciate.

The new grocery addition is also fantastic. They have a vast selection of items to choose from and I love the Market Pantry brand Target offers. Food items are always stocked fresh and with lots of variety! This is my one stop shop!

The only thing I try not to do when I come to this store is wear a red shirt... even though I probably know where everything is.

I generally like Target department stores because of their quality items and interesting presence in culture. The collaborations, the competition with Walmart.. all very interesting.

I usually come to shop for furnishings for my home or for gifts. I got a really nice 4 piece wine glass collection for about $10, which was a good deal, I thought. They have really well designed items that are cute and moderately priced. I also really like their make up selection.

This specific store, because of its location in Rosemead, isn't as stocked with the most recent collaborations and high end products as ones in more affluent areas, but the things it has are trendy. I was going through their shoes and they had some cute heels for ~$20, which is about the same as at a Forever 21or Charlotte Russe, but probably better if not equal quality.

I like their addition of a grocery store, but wouldn't come here for their fresh produce because I'm sure other stores sell it for a better price. However, their packaged items are popular with me. The store's brand of chips are amazing and they have good deals for other food items. They also have a cheap wine selection (but it's one buck chuck, not the greatest of stuffs).

I come here on a usual basis but never really explore. I just go straight to what i am looking for and if they dont have it i walk out. recently i have noticed it has expanded to a semi grocery store which makes it a little more convenient but in my opinion they need to work on their prices to stay competitive. sometimes i get frustrated because they move things around, which is something that reminds me of costco and I hate that but I understand why they do it.

Red shirts Red shirts everywhere. and not a bit of service.

When I worked at target, we were instructed to ask "Can I help you find something?". While a pain in the ass to ask everyone, I found it quite nice to find someone who actually did need help since I've been in that situation numerous times and not found anyone.

In every target I've been to lately in the LA area, there has never been a question of "Can i help you find something?" which annoys me to no end since 1) it's not that hard and 2) most importantly, i did need something. WTH? help a brutha out.

I was almost tempted to grab their scanner, type the search string for "shoestrings" in myself, find the aisle, and go get it  my damn self! I almost think it would be easier than asking someone!

The cashiers were friendly though, so that bumped up the stars. The store was a mess and needed some "facing" work done (which was one of my favorite things to do when i worked there, crazy, I know).

I like order - you'd never guess from my house), and lots of the shelves were empty (thats a major problem Target-wide, their inventory system needs a lot of work)

Just as a fun note, I got bored repeating the same "Can I help you find something?" and used to actually try to come up with the most confusing methods of asking if someone needed help.

Can I help you with finding something?
Is there something I can help you find?
Let me help you, find something.
Surely there is something that you are needing to find.
Help me, help you, to find something that you need.
Something will be found by you, can I help you find it?
If help is what you need, let me help you.
You look like you need help with something to find.
Finding something is easy, if I can help you!
Is this what you need help finding? How about this?

I think I was cut out for customer service... I like helping ppl. (-:

Have you seen the dollar section at this location? It is awesome! Most Target stores have their own discount section with different and cheap goodies, but the one at Rosemead has an amazing selection filled with loads of useful and funny stuff.

From my last haul, I got a double 3" photo frame for a dollar, a whiteboard and a corkboard for $2.50 each, and some New Years novelty items for a buck each. Sure it isn't the best of quality, but the items are sufficient for the money you are forking out for them.

The store itself is pretty gigantic with plentiful parking. They have a decent music and good Blu-ray selection. Every so often, you might get lost in the store's layout, but that is not as bad as it sounds.

I always spend a decent amount of money here, despite being so close to the Walmart on Walnut. The selection here is worlds better than the Alhambra location.

Who DOESN'T love Target?! Tell me something I don't know. It's no secret, we ALL love this place and I am sure all of us are funding someone's salary here even "in this economy". Let me tell you what I do NOT love: THIS TARGET. This Target is awful awful awful! You should just name it Walmart.

We should have known what a disaster this place was when we parked our car in the lot and 5-10 employees were sitting by the back door smoking and staring and making comments about us. Maybe they were on their break, but this store needs ALL the help they can get.

The lines are ridiculously long here, the store is VERY VERY messy, the floors are dirty, and the people here are uncivilized. We waited in a LONG line and only had one item, along comes a man about 5 feet in height  and shows us his one pack of batteries and points to the woman in front of us so we thought he was with her. Oh no no no, he shoves her one item on the side as well and pays for his item first. He wasn't with her. I didn't realize this until he was paying but the sales associate surely did not have a problem with him cutting two people who waited in line FOREVER with only one item. Thanks. Because I like to spend my weekend vacation hours standing as a place holder to let some man who reaches my armpit cut me in line, 'cause he's got things to do with those batteries.

This is the worst Target I have ever been to and we trusted their brand to have what we needed at a great price and in a good environment. The one star is for having what we needed, but there are other stores in the area and I will never return to this one again.

Out of all the Target Stores I've been to, this seems to be one of the better ones. I still needed to grab a few items for the upcoming trip so I went through here and found what I needed. Not exactly what I was looking for but did not enjoy the long lines at the register.

I've roamed every aisle in this place and seems way cleaner than the other locations. I do get Target team members asking me if I needed help looking for something and they've pointed me in the right direction. I've purchased many things from here and left here quite quickly because of short lines and enough competent cashiers to get everyone on their way. Tonight I think was something going on because it was crowded everywhere I went. Must be an odd night.

Ack, they're renovating!  Suddenly the baby department is huge!  It seems like it takes up half the store.  Who's having all these babies??

There were drop cloths around the side of the store so I suppose they're painting.

My coworker wears a lot of Target clothes that I think are cute.  This Target does not carry such cute clothing.  I'd skip.  Their handbags are okay and the $1 section isn't too trashed.

They need to hire more people though.  Only four cashiers on a busy night?  There were long lines, screaming kids and a tired me.  At least a cashier opened up while I was in line and I managed to bum rush it but I don't know about these cashiers not know how to use the reusable Target bags I purchased specifically to curb my Target spending (I have two so I cannot buy anything that doesn't fit in those bags-- er, with the exception of big items like laundry detergent, paper towels, TP, etc).  I still don't understand why they try to fit my big ol' jug of laundry detergent into one of their red bags.  Seriously, Target, train your workers!

I'm also slightly upset I bought two bottles of eye makeup remover and charged me $.30 more for one.  What the hell?  Why does it have a different SKU for the same product?  But what are you going to do?  Argue for your $.30 back?

Hopefully the renovations will happen quickly and there will be improvements on efficiency.

If you take this Target on its own, it's not bad. It's really convenient to get to, has what Target has, and you can get in and get out. There's a Cold Stone down the way! They have a truly decent selection as far as clothes, and don't tend to run out of smalls/mediums as fast as other stores. I have never had any serious issues with this store. I have fun there! I enjoy my visits!

If you compare this Target to basically any other Target ever, you will quickly realize it kinda sucks. The lines are ALWAYS at least 10 minutes of waiting, and there are ALWAYS employees who kind of don't know what's going on.

Like most targets I go to cause its easy in and out, sometimes this one has what I'm looking for and sometimes its behind on new stock that I've already seen at another target store. Or is completely out of what I need cause they haven't re-.stocked

I can spend hours at Target, and one of those hours could be in just the dollar section.

I stop by here to buy some snacks, to get necessities, anything. Now that the grocery section opened up, I can spend even longer in there. It's very roomy, the workers are nice, and it's a great place to shop.

It's not unorganized and messy like other places, and everything's pretty neat. After the grocery place was put up, the re-arrangement around there reminded me of the Walmart on Walnut Grove.

dayum this is a nice target!

So I'm working across the street for a few months because my office may have asbestos and they don't want us to die...ok i digress.  Any way.  I don't usually frequent the El Monte/Rosemead area but I've been pleasantly surprised.  It's very clean, neat and has a great Dollar Spot.  Check it out!
