Average Mexican restaurant, serving average Mexican food.

I wasn't really craving Mexican food as I drove around this unfamiliar city seeking something to eat while traveling on business.  I was debating with myself (as I made a U-turn) whether I wanted to eat at the run down (looking) BBQ shack or the Mexican food restaurant next to the daycare.  As I accidentally passed the BBQ shack, I decided it was meant for me to have some Mexican food.

Taqueria Tampico is in a small, but newer building, with plenty of dining space.  The chips and salsa were solid pico de gallo and nothing extraordinary.  You can't go wrong with drinking soda from a soda can.  And finally, the monstrosity of a taco that was served to me.  The taco (on a flour tortilla) easily engulfed the entire plate, but was filled with only white cheese and skirt-steak.  I am a fan of grease (which is what the combination of skirt-steak and cheese makes when cooked together), so it was tasty, but nothing out of the usual for this part of town.
