Solid A minus. Although Taqueria de Marin looks like is should be shut down by the health dept from the outside, they make a solid, basic chicken burrito.  The hot salsa is great too - they blend their pico de gallo - how innovative. The only problem is it takes them 10 - 15 minutes to make a burrito, even if there is no one there, so call ahead: 415 453 5811

Fantastic taco salads... best I have ever had and the dressing selection they offer is very tasty.  I suggest getting one of each of the dressings and mixing them together.   The burittos were okay... I still like Bahi on C Street in San Rafael the best for a burrito,

First, maybe only Taqueria that can do Carne Asada the way it's supposed to be....JUICY.

I like my meat juicy and tender. Only reason I come here is to get a Carne Asada burrito. Get the Carne Asada.!

The food isn't great but it does the job.  If you go to College of Marin it's probably one of your staples.  There are way better places for Mexican in Marin...

I have driven by this taqueria hundreds of times and only stopped there to get in my friends car--parked my car there.  While I was waiting for my friend, I ordered a quesadilla with salsa and guac. I looked around and noticed all of the lunchers were Mexican, which always makes me happy that this must be an authentic Mexican restaurant.  Boy was it.  Delicious!!  I have now been back twice.  The burritos are soo authentic tasting--I can't wait to bring my husband and kids.

I totally agree with Zomb E.  Best Mexican food in Marin by far!  They have a great variety of menu items, both for adults and kids.  I no longer live in Marin, but whenever I'm there I have to make a stop.  They're closed on Sundays though, just keep that in mind.  It can be very disappointing when you have your heart set on Taqueria and you find out they're closed.  It'll seriously ruin your day.

I've always loved the burritos at this place. It's not the best or the cheapest, but I think it's better than most taquerias I've been to in Marin. The BBQ chicken burrito is amazing: really fresh ingredients, actual pieces of chicken. They can be messy though, so make sure you get plenty of napkins. If you're in the area...it's better than High Tech!

Straight up taqueria with no frills in what looks to be an old pizza joint brick building.

Burritos are traditional size - so if you want huge, ask for the Super or Giant or whatever it is called. Tacos are great. Salsa fresca is great - not the quick chop and throw in a bowl. They have a full kid's menu and veggie selections as well.

The "cheese sauce" on the nachos are just wrong - but it seems to be a staple among the students that pour in from the local JC. Very fresh but remember it's a taqueria if you're used to the Fresh Mex idea of Mexican food. Food is minimally spiced or seasoned, so make sure to taste test before diving in.

Food is definitely a 3 star as a whole, but they are so friendly and thoughtful I'm bumping it up one.

Arguably the best burrito in Marin.
try the #26 or the #28 - the steak or chicken super burritos.

tasty
tasty
tasty

a favorite amongst the marinites....

not particularly fancy, in fact it is somewhat, ahem....'low key' with a delicate, worn petina...whatever...it's kind of a dive - but there are video games, tables, and they also serve beer.  the burritos rule

I've been going there forever...really.  forever.
i think i have spent enough money there to send Mr Taqueria de Kentfield's kids to ivy league schools.... or through Branson...whichever is more expensive.

This place is close to work, so I will grab something occasionally.  I always remember my step-dad calling this place La Taqueria- La diarrhea" when I was a kid, so I have been afraid to try it.  So far I haven't gotten sick, but I find the food a bit sloppy.  They use white rice instead of spanish rice, which is a bit disappointing.

An awesome burrito, great casadillas too. Yummy salsa, beers on tap. The best part is, they have the 3 person 4x4 off road video game from the early 80's I imagine.  It is the funnest video game ever. go there, have a hot burrito, then a cold beer, and stay a while and play the video game. They also have good parking.

These burritos are very good and a COM favorite.  Prices are a little steep, but in line with the location.  The chimichanga is totally worthwhile here, almost an inside out burrito with warm and cold separated by a tortilla.  Be sure to check out the sister Taqueria in downtown Walnut Creek.
